i can't connect my gear s to s6 edge. my phone firmware is : lollipop 5.1.1
and my phone have an updated version of gear manager (version 2.2.15092142)
error while i'm trying to connect " check if your phone is compatible and if the samsung gear app need to be updated, then try again"
anyone please help me out

Am facing the same problem on my Lollipop 5.1.1 version Samsung J7 phone.
I removed all the Gear S apps and restarted the phone. Reset the Gear S too. So whats the next step?

It this stock on the S6 Edge Plus?
If its not, you can't expect it work out of the box
have same problem with my gear s connecting to s6 edge (5.1.1), i try to whip watch and stil no luck, i spouse the samsung gear apk its ****ty cuz its says only connecting to gear for a few min, and nothing happened
can some one advice

are u rooted? did u frezz some apps via titanium? if so then look for a app called Samsung accessory service provider if that dont help u try flashing system anew

Use Odin to reflash a firmware of your country... after this your boot screen should change, and you may root again.
But you don't need to worry, because Win is the same model as Grand Quattro (it depends of country, in my homeland it's Galaxy Win) and your phone will work properly

i already do that with my country stock rom,but the problem still happen.I also install another country stock rom but it still like that.

hello, i have same issue as you.. im from the philippines but i really like the boot logo grand quattro..when i flashed the india firmware it has the galaxy win bootlogo but when i updated it via wifi it reboot with the grand quattro bootlogo...

Remove your phone battery sim etc. Then wait for few second and only by battery turn ur phone on then see if it connects.
I have my S5 and got the gear fit the update i installed last night via Samsung is not connecting had to revert to an older gear fit manager - I am looking to have my viewing of my Gear Fit in the Horizontal Landscape - I know the apk is out there somewhere b/c the Korean videos show the Fit with the Horizontal mode and there are even youtube videos as of this wk showing it - can someone pls help me accomplish this ....thank you for all your help team

Download from Samsung Apps the new Gear Fit Manager, and check for updates. My Gear 2 Neo just received an OTA. For the Fit on vertival you need a new firmware upgrade.

Doesnt exist an apk, or check on SamMobile for firmwares you can upgrade via Odin.
You can upgrade too with Kies 3.

Unpack archive and install both apk. After that gear fit might notify you an update that enable autorotation.

You have to get latest version of Edge app....it either come with a ROM update or try from Samsung Galaxy store

Have you checked in Settings - Edge Screen - About Edge screen - CHECK FOR UPDATES? It should say "This is the latest version"
Or go to Galaxy Apps and check if it's an update for Edge Screen app available.
If none of the above works, you should either get a ROM update or have your phone rooted and get the app from somewhere. You might also try to get the latest apk and install it without being rooted but it might conflict with the existing one installed on your phone

I use Samsung Internet Browser Lite / Go, and the version installed on my device is 7.2.50.49 (and many who use this edition and do not have a Galaxy J2 Core or Galaxy J4 Core are possibly with the same version installed).
I discovered that the Galaxy J4 Core (SM-J410) has a newer version of the application (specifically 7.2.60.5, where the browser icon indicates "Lite"), but I could not get it since the app has not yet is available on the Google Play Store or Samsung Galaxy Apps.
Would anyone have the apk of version 7.2.60.5?

You have written too few details.
If your device is refurbished (bought from unofficial distribution), then even through Odin you may have a problem with flashing.
Check PhoneINFO 3.8.5 to see what you have on your device.

This unit has the initial firmware version and requires a gradual upgrade from BIT 2, BIT 3, to BIT 4.
After these updates using Odin, the device should see an update in the classic way.

hello thanks for your answer, i installed the last update with odin and now android 12 is on the tablet but it gets stuck on the loading screen tablet is starting, my question can i still flash the old updates with odin or how should i now Action?
I wrote you to install in order, without skipping. Did you do that? You can't flash an older firmware version than from the BIT with which you installed the last firmware.
Try clearing the cache in recovery mode. Do not reset to factory settings for now.
