Hi guys, im new to this board, but not new to android , i have A question .
Ive buyed a galaxy tab A Sm-T555 Lte , and i was searching here on the board how to root it, but guys, i want a custom rom for it, cause stock sucks on this tab, the only good thing on stock is the battery life and the super energy save mode, but guys i need a custom rom, who can help me to find something?
P.s. Unrooted Galaxy Tab A 9.7 Android 5.0.2 Stock samsung

Anybody developing a new ROM for the Samsung Galaxy GT-B7510 ? I'm currently running the Froyo (DDKC4) 2.2.2 on my phone. Would like to see if anybody is developing the new Gingerbread 2.3.3 as well as 2.3.4 versions.

hey i got Samsung GT-B7510, rooted with Super one click, i have installed openVPN when i connect to openserver it shows connected to server but when i check my ip it still remain same..

untill now there is no custom rom for this phone
we have to wait for developers to make a custom roms
successful phone rooting on gt-b7510 using super one click. now reading "now what?" by lifehacker ^^
are there any custom roms or updates for this phone yet?

So I didn't count it..
I want some tried n tested rom wid some extra-features than stock rom..n also with little bit description abt it..

Dont bother buying this phone phone its a waste of time. And if you expect any development for this device now think again..its over a year old and dont think any Dev would be interested in spending any time and effort on a phone with low specs and no capability for any improvement..Trust me i bought this device and learnt the hard way..if You want my advice pick up a phone with full touch and search around to see if any development is there for the phone you wish to purchase..If you like messing around and tweaking your phone go with one that has support from a development team
Hi guys,I'm feeling soo bad!! I went to a site and they said if I root my tab10.1,I can use apps which are not from googleplay,so I did it,then I saw a place where they said overclocking!! To increase the performance,I did all those steps and NOW MY TAB IS NOT identifying MY SIM pls help!! Pls pls pls,I really need my 3G back!.thx

you don't say which specific device you are using, nor where you got the info from that you flashed... if I were you, grab your original stock firmware here (http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/) and flash back to stock. After that, read read read regarding any changes you want to make and ALWAYS have a nandroid backup created in case you mess something up again and need to restore quickly...

Model: GT 10.1 P7500
Country: Nigeria
I used superuser to root it.
And kernel 1.4ghz stuff to increase the speed<<this is what caused it.
Can u pls send a link to the stock frame ware!thx

I assume you created an account with the website to download, I selected a couple and did not have an issue. Another site (http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-P7500) you can try. The onus is on you to search and find what you need (I have no idea what your stock firmware is), I am just going to point you in the direction to make it easier.

Really sorry if this has been asked many of times but i really need some info.
I have a GooPhone s4 GT-I9500 with the following:
1.2GHz Quad Core CPU MTK6589
The phone seems to be buggy (camera freeze problem, Menu is a bit buggy but not all the time)
I got told i could flash it with a new rom to see if it sorts the problems out.
I have never flashed a rom before to android phone and not sure what rom i can use on it.
So can anyone please show me a rom i can use and link me to a tut on how to install the rom.
I'm a very quick learner and pick stuff up quick so any help would be cool

How did it go? I just bought goophone s4, managed to get root. But the process of building custom recovery, I just didn't bother. And i didn't find any rom.

Hey so I was hoping someone could help me root my samsung galaxy s6, I know it's a super old phone but I don't think you need the new one every year. I only want a method that involves using an apk since im too lazy to use a pc. I am running 7.0 and my base band version is g920aucu6aqc1. I have been searching for a while now and none have worked so if you know of one or can make one that would be much appreciated. :fingers-crossed:

Install AIDA64 app from playstore...
And open that and go to System, search for Device, Product....
then your problem will be solved
....
That name is known as codename....
It is important if you are flashing custom roms/kernels also....
See and post below your device codename
