i am owning a mi bluetooth headset .
on my iphone 5c when it is connected i can access siri in my pocket by pressing my call button.
but on my redmi note 2 it just call last number or start the music player when i press the call button.
i am able to use google now with the headset but it is on the app and with unlocked phone.
so it is not hand free.
it seems the phone has no hands free voice dialer or am i missing something?
could you help me please?
well it seems the solution is only to asign a phone button in settings or a mikey to google now.
but it is not hand free.
or install a aosp rom because they are easier to tweak ,more compatible than miui and have native voice dialler support.

On my bluetooth earpiece, tapping the button on it brings up the music player instead of voice dialing. Is there any way to fix/override this behavior (yes, I am rooted)?
thats weird cuz when i press the pause button on my ipod headphones it brings up dialer lol. i think htc got something backwards...
In my case it did the same thing on my old Env3, but I was hoping that there was some way to configure it on the Thunderbolt (even if it requires root).
It is setup for multi button-multi function not single,not sure how to change it on the custom roms but htc tech support will walk you thru it

I have a problem that when I searched for solution, I found that many other people have this problem !
I often use my bluetooth handsfree device , I press the botton to activate Voice Dialer or Cyberon Voice Speed Dial, all sounds like ring, music, notifications, etc... are gone !!! all volumes are on high and active and profile in NOT silent... but there is NO SOUND at all !
the only way is to reboot my phone ! I installed many different ROMs and the problem still exists but one Sense ROM named imilka's Desire HD v2.0
any solutions ?!

Did you ever find a fix? I get the same from choice dialer and google voice dialer. Vlingo does not have this issue, but it does not work through your bluetooth when you press the bluetooth button.

I have Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Prime FDD (MIUI Pro 7 ver. 5.10.15), i can't use Voice Search or Google Now function from Bluetooth Headset.
1. When i press one click on my Bluetooth Headset - No reaction (not matter on or off sleep phone)
2. When i press double click on my Bluetooth Headset - Phone call last abonent (not matter on or off sleep phone)
3. When i press click and hold 1-3 sec on my Bluetooth Headset - No reaction (not matter on or off sleep phone)
I try use Voice Dialer, Voice Commander, Smart Bluetooth, Voice Button and other soft, but NOT ANY REACTION ((

same problem here,i tryed with mi key click app from the chinese store,i can start google now with the wired headset button but i hear sound from the bluetooth one... i guess the best is to use a aosp rom more adapted to this kind of use.
Problem here after update 10, microphone extremely low on WhatsApp voice notes and voice recorder just on those apps and this weird notification appears every time an app use mic.

Is very frustrating. The mic sometimes works but mostly extreme low volume on WhatsApp voice notes and stock voice recorder app.

I used 1 of the modded WhatsApp and see the option.

DISABLE THE PROXIMITY SENSOR
Solution 2
when voice call other person, immediately raise the volume. u will see the call volume icon. hang up when finish.

I came across the WhatsApp giving problem in low mic volume.
Solution
TURN OFF "Hey Google" in Google typing INPUT SETTING.
DISABLE also the Google Assistant.
mine works wonder!
Until Google fix this problem... no way I'm going to use this buggy Google Assistant

Anyone can help me. I got an issue about my microphone. I use Redmi Note 4 Quallcom with Pixel Experience 10 Latest Rom.
My voice can't be heard when I pick up the phone, not only on phone call but also on whatsapp call. I can't record my voice also on my voice recorder app. But I always use google voice while typing on google keyboard. It is use microphone when using google voice, isn't it? That's why I'm not sure this is the hardware problem.
I try to reach out on any article and youtube but it says that the google assistant (OK Goolgle) must be off. I've tried this one but no result.
If you have any way to fix this problem please comment. Thank you.
