No, it doesn't work. The app couldn't connect to my gear s despite I could see my watch on the Bluetooth's list under the settings. I was forced to use my old galaxy s4 again

I always used the AOSP android browser(like the one in old nexus s and galaxy nexus) on my old skyrocket. Is there a new version that can work on 4.4.2 on our device ?

Yes there is, it is included in my rom among many other things, The attached one is pulled from the rom. Just copy it to system/app and reboot.

The thing is my device is not rooted as of yet ! I don't wanna trip Knox and waiting hopefully for a future custom recovery that doesn't trip it !

Just installed and works fine No force close and bookmarks synced fine .
I like the 4.4.4 Roms out but I use my phone as a remote controller at home but with the ROM it doesn't work

Ok we need a little more info, like what version of KitKat you are running ? Is your device rooted ? If you excepted the OTA to 4.4.4 then you will might have to reactivate the Watch On app for the remote feature and reinstall the code to run your TV. Those settings may have been lost during the update, as far as I know the 4.4.4 update does not effect the Watch On App. If all else fails reinstall the Watch On app from the Goggle Play Store.

The Gummy rom is AOSP. The Watch On app that comes with the Note 3 is Framework TouchWiz based. You might try the this version of Watch On by Peel Industries, still my not work on AOSP but can't hurt to try. Here is the link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tv.peel.samsung.app&hl=en

I think the gear S its only compatible with Note 4 or edge.

Galaxy store is a device specific app that needs system component to work. I've never heard of a patched galaxy store to work with every android device, but if you tell us why you need the galaxy store maybe we can solve your real problem

Well the mod needs to be updated. It wouldn't have worked either if you installed the Galaxy store. What you need is an updated patched version

I want to install Samsung apps on Pixel 6 Pro.

In the past, I was able to get the Galaxy Store sideloaded from an APK and running on a rooted Pixel XL2 by using Magisk modules to spoof the device properties. It made the Samsung Store think I had a Samsung device. It wasn't an easy process. Lots of trial and error, and I'm not sure if it would still work today.
I'm revisiting this topic to see, does anyone know a confirmed way to install the store on a rooted, non-Samsung device? Does a way exist, or does anyone know specifics on doing it with, say, a Pixel 5 or 6?
