How to diplay network traffic and battery mod ? - Galaxy S6 Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys,
I see some ROM having network traffic display on the status bar in addition of custom battery icons.

Thank it's in the system ui apk
Or xposed
O and next time use q$a forum

Any links ? Tutorials ?

If ur using xposed u can use "flat style bar indicator"
There u can switch between different signal, battery, WiFi, gps and many more icons and I can show up network traffic
Some actions needs to buy the pro version. But it's worth it

What rom are you using?

Or you can use alliance framework. Unfortunately it does not support latest Samsung bases and it is not clear whether there will be another update.

I also use internet speed meter
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.internet.speed.meter which displayes network trafic. I have bought pro verion but there is also Lite version.

[Q] Battery % mod

Hello XDA members,
I am using Omega v19.2 ROM and I love it, but there is one thing that won't let me sleep. I am used to Stock Battery (green battery without any percentages), but Omega is using mod called "Battery % mod". Is there any way to get back only stock battery without making any other changes in status bar?

Go into omega files app and flash stock toggles mod
@K0wneD: I tried that, I can live with gray status bar, but problem is that there are missing toggle buttons in notification bar like Torch or Sync. Is there any method to have Omega's status bar with stock battery?
I have installed 15 toggle mod, but two of them doesn't work - Torch and Sync, what is the reason?

[MOD][XPOSED][KK] GPSNotification - Bring back the GPS Icon

As I upgraded to KitKat I wondered why the GPS Icon in the statusbar is replaced by this "new" thing.
I wanted my old GPS Icon back!

Hey, ya i see. Try to start any app that uses gps and quit it. It will be gone. Its a bug i will fix it in a few days.
// EDIT:
Fixed
Thanks, that is fixed - great module.
There is a little cosmetic change I'd like but not sure you can fix it.
I have GravityBox installed (of course!) and the Data Traffic Monitor turned on. I have it's position set to Right and it normally displays to the left of the Wifi icon in the statusbar which is perfect.
However, the GPS icon now displays between them, to the left of the Wifi icon with the data traffic information to the left of the GPS icon. Not ideal, as the data traffic information should ideally be next to the Wifi icon.
I could set the GPS icon to Left Position but I want all these icons on the right of the statusbar not in the notification area.
Thanks

This is not possible, since the module uses the internal GPS class. And the position is fixed.

Hi everyone. I came across this rom the other day, in the AT&T section and just wanted to share this great rom created by Seanzscreams - Profile - http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=2783804

Yep its ok for the N7105 version
Yes this rom is not too bad at all, it has been around at one form or another for a while, there is a link in here for it somewhere as well.
Most 4.3 roms are fairly decent and mostly similar for day to day usage, some have a few differences, need kernals flashed as well for wifi, or need to flash several times to get past bootloops. It may depend on your bootloader as well.
This one has been on my phone for a while, battery been very good, performace ok, one or two lockups only.

I reckon they are all much the same, have tried both, just stuck with this one.
Only cause it was the 2nd one flashed and once I setup everything I could not be bothererd restoring DN3 back.
FYI I rarely use the pen or any features, mostly exchange based mail, calendar, calls, pics, for work, then internet and calls for personal usage.
WIFI is always on, same as BT, GPS, 6 email accounts syncing, and when getting home after 10 hrs I have between 60-80% battery left.
Its only when travling and the phone seaches for signal that the battery drain is way faster.
They guys/teams have done a fine job, considering without them I would be on a carrier bloated 3.4 ota update thats had mixed reports on screwing up handsets, poor battery, lost contacts etc.

Hi mate, I find Samsung 4.3 roms to be battery hungry, comparing to a stock 4.4.2 rom like SOKP. You can try another kernel Agni or Devil - check the rom forum for compatible kernels used. You could also use greenify and use power-save mode etc just to extend the battery performance.

Hey mate, this rom should offer similar stats as they are based on 4.3. If you want battery performance flash a stock 4.2.2 rom like (SOKP). I flash and try every rom i like, which is most, you could back up what your running now and try this rom or the vanilla version. Then if it sucks, just restore your old rom.

I flashed this rom and everything is fine except I have no gps signal...
the same happen on the DN3 rom, which I was on for a while..
when I flash the Jedi X rom gps works fine,
my guess is that my device doesn't like the note 3 stuff AND gps....
I think I will try this rom without the note 3 stuff...
Edit: I flazhed the Vanilla version of this rom...but no luck with gps... back to DN3 for now...

[MOD][XPOSED] Battery Percentage Text

This module for Android Lollipop/Marshmallow (5.x.x/6.x.x) adds the current battery percentage to the lock screen, notification shade header, and status bar. The app includes options for enabling or disabling the injected text, changing the position of the text relative to the battery icon, and changing the appearance of the text.
Note that this has not been tested on Nougat (7.x.x). As of Oreo (8.x.x), this module is no longer needed, as the battery percentage text is now properly shown alongside the battery icon when enabled in the System UI Tuner.
Xposed Module Repository
thanks for this module. it is possible to add an option so we can see the battery percentage text on the right side of the battery icon?
Not working on CM 12.1. I'd be happy to test out any test releases to get this working. This is something I miss from KitKat.
Thank you so much man @Extrinsic. It has puzzled me to no ends why there was no decent module for this very specific purpose. This is such neat & useful module. Cheers ??

Just get an app which tells you the percentage. There are so many. I think "battery doctor" does that, and you could really easily do something like that with tasker.

This absolutely genius module no longer works on most ROMs it used to. Probably due to framework changes in AOSP.
Can you kindly update it to work with current AOSP ROMs?
Plus, it never worked on any CM-based ROMs due to their customization.
Thank you so much.
New version (v1.1):
- Added support for unexpanded notification shade header
- Added options for customizing positions and font sizes
- Allowed injected text to receive alpha channel and color changes made to status bar elements
- Fixed compatibility issues with some AOSP and CyanogenMod-based ROMs

I've tested it so far on the 5.1.1 and 6.0.1 Google stock ROMs, CyanogenMod 13 (6.0.1), and Pure Nexus (6.0.1). Hopefully, it should work with most near-stock ROMs now.
This is an amazing module, I am loving it, thank you for doing it. It works great with the latest update in my Moto G 3rd Generation (2015) with stock Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It would be nice to have an option to hide the app from the launcher, as many modules have, and It would be nice to have more text sizes, or a configurable text size bar. Anyway, it is awesome, keep the good work!

Android 10 with battery bar

Hello everyone, I'm looking for an rom for poco that has Android 10 and the ability to show an battery bar. I always used havoc because it has lots of customization options very fast implemented, but with android 11 being in beta already, it lacks a lot. I installed bliss on my tablet and it did had lots of custom features including battery bar. It's not available for poco (and I dont have the disk space to compile it). Who knows a rom with this feature?
