So what is ZyxxOS? The first thing that comes to mind is a ROM that is bloated with useless features, useless apps, and other cr*p nobody wants. You couldn't be anymore wrong. No its not included but a simple flashable zip should provide the Sony Camera, not sure about stamina mode though.

hello my friend will i still be able to obtain root to remove system apps i don't need with root explorer? even though you've already mentioned it is a unrooted rom.:good: Does it also support twrp?.

Yeah I noticed the SD Card reading was kind of buggy, what fixed it for me was a restart.

Tried that but no joy it recognised my 16g but not anything bigger please help thank you
I will see if I can get it fixed, it reads my Samsung evo 64gb sd card just fine.
My Samsung Evo 32GB is also recognised properly.
Anyway, can anyone point me to a Sony Camera flashable zip?
By the way, the ROM so far is amazing. Even Gravity Box works perfectly fine.

1. Download rom ... Duh! and then Gapps
2. Put rom on SD card
3. Make sure you have latest Gapps on there too
4. Make sure you have recovery installed
5. Factory Wipe/Data Reset, Wipe Cache and Wipe Dalvik Cache
6. Flash Rom...
7. Some have suggested you have less issues if you let rom boot up before you flash Gapps... I'll leave that up to you

9. Some like to wipe cache again... If you normally do that, then do it

Well I have, but thats because I wanted to try Sony's 4.3... All I can suggest is try it and see what happens, if you end up with no data/radio then you will have to upgrade. But I think the general concensus is that its better to go to Sony 4.3 first

Thanks, I was running krab's carbon for ages, then omni befor I built my own Sony stock 4.3.
Now I have the dilemma of do I go back to 4.4 and carbon or do I stick with my own build of 4.3

About the Dual recovery: I don't expect it to work anywhere. I avoid it like the plague. As for the M5 kernel, I honestly have no clue. This commit is the only one that could be at fault since it's the only difference between the two ramdisks. I'll look into that when I fix the sound bug.

New build (today, 29/6). I've been trying to get sound to work for several hours. Nothing I did before worked. Ran make clean, now it magically works, what the heck.
I need somebody who actually uses their phone to call people to check if in-call sound works (and if it doesn't, if possible also submit a logcat).

for rooting the device i have to flash the old frimware 23.a.2.93
then with giefroot_v3.1 i rooted so i can boot it to recovery with Z3C-lockeddualrecovery2.8.20-RELEASE.installer
now im in recovery TWRP i flash the [D5803] [23.1.A.1.28] Lollipop 5.02, Odexed, Pre-Rooted 2.46, XZDR 2.8.15 & Xposed
now i have the newes version with root and recovery my problem start here
i download the latest version for panaroidandroid for z3c and gapps
i go to recovery first add the pa_z3c-5.1-20150629.zip(latest panaroid) then add gapss then add supersu but it doesnt flash them and give me an error how can i flash this panaroid rom? any sugestion?

Reading your "summary" it is evident that you have not unlocked your bootloader, which is clearly defined in the first post as a requirement to run this software. If you have, apologies for being assumptious, but that is all I can gather from your post.
Which GAPPS would you advice to use? I want more then just the play store one I used before haha

I googled "android 5.1 gapps" and just downloaded the first one. I think it's the one from the CM site though I'm not sure.
Just pick whichever one you'd like, as long as it's a 5.1 package.

afew odd thing google play. services , game centre, security option wont open and crash so i can not go to google stor to update apps neither can install other app(markest) due to the crash for security option!!!!
check the update ota and it sais error rom for z3c does not exist
check the calling quality it was ok
any idea to stop all the crashes?

What version of ROM and gapps did you install (ROM version should be 7/1, gapps should be a 5.1 build, like the one here)? Did you wipe data, system, cache and dalvik-cache? (Alternatively, if all of the above is as it should be, and only then, try getting a logcat.)
The device is not officially supported by AOSPA-L (hence the tag "UNOFFICIAL"), that's why the OTA app does not recognize the device.

Fix for now...upload is still going, but for now copy everything from the patch zip except meta inf folder and paste it into the main rom zip (only version 12.1) and it install that zip and it will work...this is just temporary untill I upload the fixed version

Yes you can but follow the updated steps in the OP...after rom installation power off your device abd flash the stock kernel with flashtool but exclude everything else

1. Copy ROM zip and gapps zip to sdcard
2. Flash any kernel which has recovery (Use the boot.img in this ROM - It has TWRP)
3. Reboot device and go to recovery by pressing Vol-UP when LED is pink
4. If coming from 5.1 or below ROM wipedata/factory reset your phone

A quick test of the rom. First time I try any MM rom on my own device.
Working
Root
Sms+call (from earpiece and and mainspeaker)
Mobile data
Compass+GPS+Glonass (tested with gps status and Maps)
Video playback (tested with Vine)
Audio playback (tested with Spotify)
Main speaker
3.5mm port (tested with Bose headset)
Microphone internal+external on headset (tested with audio recorder app)
Not working
Wifi (Switch remains off)
Bluetooth (turns on but does not find any devices)
Camera
Some of the Live Wallpapers gives FC
Notes:
Animation is not very smooth if you swipe fast. For example pulling down the notification bar it stutters.
Video playback is very smooth in Vine app. Video replays seamlessl without any delay.
Did not try NFC.
Just nitpicking here, but "AOKP MM 6.0.1 unofficial + nightly + official". You should probably make up your mind Updating the current banner would probably be a good idea since it's from the JB/KK days.

This is amazing! I've been getting fed up with my Xperia Z Ultra though this should hold me out until March when the rumored Xperia Z Ultras will be announced! The second Bluetooth comes online I'll throw this on my device.

Is it okay for you and the AOKP team that I can use this ROM as base for my ROM?
My plan it is to give the crowd the update to 6.0.1 from "Sony" by porting the Z5 MM apps to Z Ultra, I need a 6.0.1 as base and this ROM could make it better/best Sony ROM ever, better than Z5 will get and the Z5 won't get that features which we get with AOKP combined with Sony apps

Just tried the latest version from your site, the rom doesn't have WiFi or Mobile working (cannot find sim card nor turn on WiFi).
Installed latest FTF with modem, and tried installing the rom multiple different ways, from different recoveries including the recovery in the kernel for this rom (which I flash prior and after installing). The download is not corrupted either... anything you would suggest I test out?
*Edit: Seems that the Mac Address is incorrect. WiFi gets stuck turning on. Also Asks for Cyanogenmod Features during Setup, I wiped the phone prior to installation but I was on a CM 12 nightly.

I get the same result as you.
Neither wifi, bluetooth or modem is working.
Trying the previous version atleast it had working modem, so this new version is actually a regression over the first version.
How do I replace the recovery? The recovery built in with the ROM can't read the external storage making me unable to use any backups in case of a brick. I've flashed an recovery.img in recoverg and the xzudualrecovery as well and used fastboot to flash a recovery.img aswell. Pls help
Regarding the WiFi/BT MAC address: I can't speak for MM but several CM based LP ROMs suffer from problems caused by a lack of the files under /data/etc where those addresses are stored.
By extracting them from a stock ROM with Root Explorer followed by creation and copying them to the proper folder on the new ROM, both BT and WiFi goes back to full operation.
It is possible that the problem on the MM ROMs are similar in nature.

I have tried to bring a AOSP / CM look like stock rom for Z3. I am not telling that after flashing this rom u will get a complete AOSP feel but u will get a 50% CM/AOSP look and feel. Concept rom is an "aosp" Sony firmware, with Sony camera, fm radio and very little more additions. I'm using the latest version and have found no bug, it's really fast and battery life seems pretty good too. Maybe the best performance I've tried on my z3.
The only problem is that I think it can't be rooted on LB (not sure though)
