Hello my friends, i just got a Sprint M9 and would like to know if BadBoyz Sprint M9 rom allows Kcal Colour calibration? or do i need to install an aditional kernel for it to work? I love the M9, but hate the default color calibration of the screen and found that the Kcal Calibration is absolutely essential for this phone (i used it with Leedroid M9 rom on an ATT version). Thanks in advance for the information!

If you mean like color temperature adjustment then yes. In Settings under display, gestures & buttons. It is just a slider for warmer or colder. I leave it default though as I see nothing wrong with the stock color temperature setting.
Nope that's not what I mean, it's an app to change color calibration, rgb values and it vastly improves the quality of the M9 screen. It's called Kcal color calibration. You can Download the app for it, but your kernel must support it.

Hey guys , I was wondering if it would be possible to bring the option "scren better" from H2OS for OOS.
I love the OPX AMOLED screen , but sometimes shows too saturated images , especially with reddish colors. Don´t you think?

The "LiveDisplay" in Settings -> Display & lights is the same thing, its only available on CM based ROMs though.

it's not exactly the same. the setting on H2OS is much more subtle. almost not noticeable. while LiveDisplay really changes the color temperature.
I miss that setting on my H2OS and that's why I flashed blue_spark kernel to change the colors.
Hello guys!!
For you what is the best KCAL settings t get close to AMOLED colors?
the best set is to set that fit your eye comfort.
i hope someone mod synapse UKM so we can choose profile
long time ago i've been using this for nexus 4 and yeah complete control.
I use Simcooler profile. It's pretty close to amoled for me.
There is a very detailed post with many different kcal configs: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/general/kernel-adiutor-kcal-color-profiles-t3382086
Hi people, is there an aosp rom with leeco/eui display colors mode settings? I like more vivid colors, if not, its possible to have these settings in aosp based roms? Or an alternative?

I think some custom kernel have option for screen setting where you can set color value (use Kernel Adiutor to do it). I used to set it for older device G2/Htc M8 set color value as: 255/245/256 with Saturation value 52. I have not try with Le Max 2 as I usually use stock rom.
In Miui You can change Display temperature From Normal To Warm Or Cool
But when using custom rom like Aex or Lineage i can't find that choice
the screen is really warm and white color is almost yellow
please i need any solution for this i want to make the screen contrast cool Like Miui
Thanks i really appreciate your quick answer
Theres color profile option in livedisplay setting on los based roms, use that.
i tried it but it can't make white color looks really white

Use Kernel Auditor app..and if your kernel support kcal you can calibrate the display color profile.

Its an module for Advanced color control for Qualcomm MDSS 8x10/8x26/8974/8084/8939.. your kernel have to be supported to make fully use of it. check thishttps://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software-hacking/dev-kcal-advanced-color-control-t3032080
The los livedisplay also got manual color calibration option, that should be enough to tinker by your own to get however white you want.

Not really...on livedisplay there are only tweaks for the screen RGB color which is not enough in many situation...in KCAL you have screen value and contrast value and minimum sRGB value those are valuable option to tweak... that's why I've told you...now its up to you.
The blue light filter is absolute garbage on the Tab S7, and you're unable to change any display settings beyond Vivid and Standard.
Does KCAL support for this device exist in any way? I am rooted, and would prefer to keep OneUI if possible.
Cheers
