Samsung's Ultra Power Saving Mode changes the color scheme of your device to greyscale, which I loved very much. Is there any way I can change my color theme to grey scale?
I just need the color scheme, not the power saving mode.
PS - I'm on Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime. Its rooted and I'm on CM11.
PPS - I don't like colors much on my mobile.
Found an app
CF.lumen.
It perfectly does the job

Just simple as that. Is there a way to fix the palette color in CM 7.2 or Blur 2.3 roms?
To clarify my question: using Facebook app in Gingerbread based roms is visible the poor palete schema. Logout and stay on the login screen. You can see a blue ''ladder". Like a crappy gradient of blue colors.
Using the ICS based roms (yes, THAT roms) there is no visible gradient or ladder. Looks like they fixed the palette color of the Atrix LCD.
So, how to do this? I'm a advanced user and I know some tricks, but not this one.
I have been running a 4.3.1 Paranoid Android build. I don't like the dark themes of the system apps. I prefer the stock LG User Interface and colors. I want to know how I can change from the default white text on black background to black text on white background. A color scheme similar to the stock LG UI is preferred. I also couldn't find a widget that matches the functionality of the stock ROM's notification settings. I really liked the brightness slider in the swipe notifications in the stock UI.

Not sure if you have tried this? Xblast Exposed Frameworks Works great on my phone Samsung S2. Worth a glance maybe...
Look in the play store for "cm 10" or "cm 10.2" themes. Then in settings, find the theme section and apply your new theme. What gets themed will vary between themes, and some will be free as well as some running any where from $.99-$2.00. There are a wide variety of choices, just find one that matches your liking.
Also try adding search terms like light holo or white to narrow down what you want. There is also a thread here on xda showcasing themes made by members here, it should be in "android development" -> "android themes"

There is a link to the thread, I hope you can find one to suit your liking.

I tried changing the dark holo background color to white, but I also had to change the default text color from white to black. This made the text unreadable in apps where the dark background did not change to white.
Hi guys, I'm looking for a Material-inspired theme that instead of the blue-greenish color in settings, switches and other details, it has a grey or white color, more like KitKat. I like the overall design of Android L, but I think the green color should be replaced with a more neutral and cleaner color instead, like light grey and white.
I couldn't find any theme like that, most of the android l themes are a little too much with the color in settings and other stuff, so I wonder if you guys know some? Please link!
Cheers!

I know that Xposed has a module that allows you to invert system colors, as well as in other areas. What I am looking for is something that basically inverts all text to show white characters against a black background... but here's the catch:
I don't want to invert the colors of images, be them PNG, TIFF, JPEG, GIF or whatever.
It seems to me that color inversion is a wise way to save battery life, especially on an AMOLED screen, so why there aren't numerous options or apps to provide such a feature is kind of beyond me at the moment.
I have a Note 3, and there is color inversion, but I don't know anyone who wants to look at inverted pictures. Computer power users are all too familiar with reverse text being much easier on the eye and more legible. If I have to root, I'm not opposed to it, but only if there's something that truly allows you to invert colors system wide without inverting photos...
Are there any options out there that I'm missing?

That isn't dark mode, that's inverted colors. That means everything is inverted including graphics, jpegs, etc, which will look like xray negatives.
