Not sure if this is able to be done or necessary but was wondering if there is a way to disable the "edge" features. My wife is looking at the S6 Edge as a new phone but one of the issues we have seen people online complain about is accidentally touching something on the edge (not sure what as we do not have one yet).
Thanks!
Yes it can all be disabled

Wondering if anyone that has the t-mobile version on att could speak on any adverse effects at all. I'm curious if ISIS wallet still works, provided you have the new SIM card that is. Most info I've seen is about reception which all seems to be good so that's a relief. Has anyone come across any issues at all?
I've got a few days left to return this thing and I'm trying to make up my mind please help!

Usually the difference between ATT and TMO phones by Samsung is the bootloader. It will be locked on AT&T, and has been confirmed unlocked on the TMO S5. When custom roms and kernels come to the S5 you'll be happier if you have the TMO phone.
We need a really organized thread for all the T-Mobile S5 inquires.
Are these problems due to Galaxy S6 Edge problems or application its self? This is rather irritating. Happens all the time on my Galaxy S6 Edge

I had this problem a lot even before S6 Edge.
It's the app, had the same problem on my Nexus 5.
Same problem on my S4 and Nexus 5. Funnily, I haven't had that issue on the S6E.

I had the same problem on my Note 3 and thought it was a Note 3 problem but sure enough the same problem exists on my new Galaxy S6 Edge as well. At first I thought that maybe it was a 3G/4G problem so then I sat right next to my wifi and used wifi but sure enough the same problem came right back up again.
So I'm on the edge of buying the T-Mobile Note8, but I'd like to know if the carrier bloat is bad.... I know the boot animation and sound (one can live with it or just root and change it). What else? Can those be disabled, is it bad?
its not horrible, t mobile visual voice mail, t mobile device unlock ap, t mobile caller id and my t mobile pr adapt. you also can't in install facebook, you tube and a few other system apps but I think the unlocked versions they are native as well. also the splash screen on boot up will say t mobile as well. Not as bad a previous t mobile samsungs devices. they used to come with lookout security, amazon, etc.

It's not bad and can be disabled with BK Package Disabler with no ill effects.

I was surprised when I got my Note 8 as I found out that I could actually uninstall some of the bloat, whereas I could not on my S7E. I use Package Disabler Pro to rid me of the rest.
The pr adapt and TMobile app are the pits. Always disable those two at bare min.

Apologies if this has been answered before, but I can't find any mention.
I have the Sprint variation of the Tab s6. I guess the Sprint variation doesn't allow texting using the Call & Text on other devices option that other variants have. I use a Galaxy Note 10 that does have the option but there's no way to enable it on the tablet. Is there a workaround that anyone is aware of?

There's no toggle in Advanced Features?

No. For some reason, Sprint locked it out.
I did just find out about Samsung Flow though. It mirrors your phone onto the tablet. Not quite what I was looking for, but it's an inelegant solution.
As title states how can I get around AT&T stupid cross platform messaging block. Absolutely stupid. Samsung does not offer an unlocked version of this tablet forcing you to buy it through a carrier and AT&T locks out key features. Which is absolute crap. Apple is allowed to sync there devices no problem why not us? How can I get around this???
IDK if you still need help. I'm not sure what phone you are using, but I was able circumvent it. I have a Note 20 Ultra from AT&T as well and a wifi only Tab s7+. I was able to load a U1 Firmware onto my Note (This will wipe the phone). I can now sync call and messages. It still doesn't want to work over mobile all the time, but if they are on the same wifi, or if my phone is on a wifi network and the S7+ is connected to the Auto Hotspot from my phone, it works pretty well. Here's the link to the U1 FWs for the Note 20 Ultra. https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/ota-and-non-ota-firmware-for-n986u-and-n986u1.4143833/
I can't attest to this working on the Carrier version of the S7+ though. Hope you can find something helpful here.
Best of luck.
