Hi Guys, As you know there is not source and the source'm not very good to say .. but at least I bring as operating the xposed framework, (will also be used to change fonts, bootanimation etc. ..)
We went into root explorer, and headed / system
Set_Immutable.list select and change the name to Set_immutable.lis.old
now proceed to install the xposed framework (the latest version)
we entered
Xposed Installer> Framework> Install / update
If that does not work, go to build.prop and change ro.config.hwtheme = 0

Dose that works with the Mediapad X1 running on kitkat B010
Does not seem to work for me on B008 Malaysia firmware for X1. There is no hwtheme line in the build prop and even after I added it, it still doesn't work.
This tutorial is for the M1 not the X1.

The steps aren't the same or you would have been able to get it working
The X1 has a themeing engine that interferes with Xposed framework. There is a hack to get it to sort of work, but most of the useful functionality does not work.

I would much appreciate your help in providing steps to get Xposed working on 4.4.2
I'm on B008 Malaysia firmware, and it is KitKat. I have it rooted with SuperSU and Busybox. Titanium is working fine, but doesn't seem to run schedules. Otherwise there aren't any other issues.

What are you looking to modify with Xposed Framework? A lot of the plugins wont work because of the X1's theming engine...
Here's a patch for the Huawei phones, but be warned this can really mess things up...

The "Permission Manager" is missing in my recent 7D-501L firmware Kitkat B102.
In the 7D-503L chinese version, this "Permission Manager" is still and always present.
So, do you know a way to have and display this "Permission Manager" in my 7D-501L firmware ?

i believe 'Permission Manager' exists only in roms that are meant for use in China. B102 is for Germany / International use, thus it has been excluded.

I have a Chinese 503L and I downloaded the B102 rom from that German site. Yup, indeed permission manager is gone, which is great because that app was terrible and didn't seem to work right, maybe Huawei is starting remove the crap from their roms? I noticed all the preinstalled Bloatware games were in a folder that contain a "Deleteme" file, so I deleted the entire folder and all the junk games were removed, very nice!
They have fixed a bunch of stuff in B102, Google play stuff is no longer blocked, All the app incompatibilities are gone (But still 400 DPI), The voicemail has been fixed.
All I had to do was root and use titanium backup, nice!
Now we have to see how the Wifi and 3G signal hold up over time and is app still shutdown in the background after a while.
Huawei is getting close!

How did you root your X1? I have flashed B102 rom and tried rooting using Vroot but it fails everytime. Please help.

I used the latest version of Vroot which should be 1.7.8
V1.7.9 is the latest. Please get directly from mygun.com; there some version floating around with viruses.

Thanks Omniphil. I was using 1.7.3, downloaded 1.7.8 and when I first ran, it offered to upgrade to 1.7.9.2. The root process went thru fine. Now my phone is rooted.
Is there a way to change DPI to 320? The build.prop does not have any prop that can be changed.

I haven't tried manually setting the DPI to 320, I suspect its not going to work like the rest of the X1 roms so far. It just messes with the built in theme engine and breaks alot of things.
Even though I would prefer 320DPI, 400 is workable because they fixed the app compatibility issues. (I really really wish Huawei would go back to 320DPI however)
Wifi for me is better than all the previous 4.4 builds, but It does not seems as good as the 4.2 build (B008). It doesn't seem to disconnect nearly as much as it did with the other 4.4 builds.
3G is also not as good as the 4.2 builds, but the 3G seems better than any other 4.4 build.
So basically signal issues are better in B102 than any other 4.4 build, but still not as good as the 4.2 build B008 (which wasn't perfect either, still worse than any other phone I have ever had but usable for the most part)
X1's wifi antenna is located at the bottom right corner, leave that portion unhindered for best reception.
Xposed 2.5.1 / 2.5.2 framework works in X1 4.4.2 China ROM B010 for 503L, together with AppSettings, this combi gives the end user the flexibility of configuring the DPI for individual apps. I actually prefer this arrangement as the main shell remains at 400 DPI for easy operation and certain apps like news readers, browsers or maps can be 320 or below to maximise screen real estate.
The above will break the theme engine (themes can be applied but there will not be changes to the icons), other than that everything works well and smoothly, no FCs.
YMMV on B102 international ROM.

1/ When i've installed Xposed 2.5.1 on My X1 4.4.2, it's ok BUT I can't open the Settings (app) of my device. The message displays "settings.app" is stopped.
What about ? have you managed to open the settings after installing the Xposed 2.5.1 ?

1) i guess xposed is not compatible with X1's international rom then; it works fine on China rom b010 (4.4.2 emui 2.3)
2) ymmv = your mileage may vary
I will be starting a thread on newest leaked rom (beta) for 503L - 4.4.2 / EMUI 2.3 / 320 DPI, initial feedback from Chinese users suggest it runs very smooth and free ram after boot is a whopping 1.4-1.5GB, u may want to try it out stay tuned

I have never tried B102 International ROM or edited build.prop for B010 China ROM.
I installed Xposed using the apk attached below, however I think it shd not make any diff as to which initial Xposed apk u use because ultimately u will update to 2.5.1 from within Xposed.
After updating to 2.5.1, I then downloaded the 1.8 version (1.9 is not compatible) of App Settings Module, reboot and per app setting works via App Settings.
I did install XHaloFloatingWindow Module (latest version) too, but I do not think that has any effect on per app DPI settings.
I am rooted on 503L China ROM B010 (4.4.2 / 2.3 / 400), downloaded from - http://www.emui.com/nsp/geturl.php?path=7D-503L_EMUI_2.3_V100R002C233B010.zip&rid=593

I tryed alls versions of this rom from de S7 EDGE EXYNOS forum ( beta1 , final beta and the others based on stock samsung rom) and,
When i want to make a call, i hear nothing and my interlocutor hear nothing too.
I tryed a lot csc in the aroma installer, many full wipe, reinstallation...
I do not know what to do
I have reinstalled the stock nougat rom waiting a solution.
Google play not work too. I followed all of the instructions for the Force closed problem, and when its ok, the google play app don't want to update or download any applications. I have tryed many error code tutorials for resolves this ( error 963, 927 ) and nothing .
Please help me ! thank you in advance and sorry for my bad english ^^

It's simply a MIUI 8 rom issue, it should be listed in the rom bugs in the thread.

If the rom is still being updated, and newer versions will come, then it should be fixed in next updates, and you said it works in stock nogut, then it's definitely a rom issue.

I meant if it's working in stock nogut, then it's a MIUI 8 rom issue.
Everything it's ok for me now !
Before, my installation of twrp and miui, was from marshmallow stock samsung. And, with this way, i have so many errors.
But, with twrp installed on the Nougat stock rom, i don't have any problem, calls working, google apps working too !
