HardReset and check. You WILL lose data. Use at your own risk.
If above fails, flash any/latest P760 rom you want. Flash Tutorial here. Read posts carefully and dont ask about the things already mentioned in those threads. Hope this helps. You may lose data. Use at your own risk.

He never mentioned about rooting anywhere in post just flash kdz offline, that is not rooting. BTW hard reset worked for me i was stuck on boot logo while installing a custom rom

I never came across your problem ok its R&D tool which s having problem. Possible solutions i found in optimus 2x forum:
1.Make sure u have all the editions of .net framework 2, 3, 3.5, 4
2.Download that R&D Tool again
3.Start again from beginng
4.If still doesn work try downloadin different versions of R&D Tool google it u ll find it

Ok in KDZ_FW_UPD_EN folder u ll find another .exe ie B2CAppSetup, run that as admin and try once again.
And make sure that shttps folder and R & D tool both are in C drive not any other drive

On first message:
For entering download mode some bootloaders (if I'm right) use different key combos for entering to either doenload mode or recovery. Have you tried (vol+, vol-) or (vol- only) while usb is plugged and battery previously taken out?
As of the dll message don't worry. It just takes some time to start loading past 0% when starting to upload the kdz (less than 1 or 2 minutes though), but it will eventually keep giving you that message with the completed percentage so far inside the parenthesis.

Got my new LG L9 and, after upgrading to V20B via OTA, I decided to downgrade to V10A to get it rooted (this was before I discovered this thread :/).
Here is what I did:
- I successfully used the KDZ_Flash-Package_LG to downgrade.
- Had to hard reset, then the phone booted fine.
- Rooted using Bin4ry's method
- Installed some L9RecoveryInstaller_1.3.0.apk for CWM (I think this is where I might have f***ed up?)
- Got into CWM recovery just fine, then flashed the lates CM nightlies (from here) +gapps (or maybe this was stupid?)
- Rebooted (wiped all data, cache & dalvik)
Now the phone is stuck at the "Securty Error" screen. The situation:
- Hard reset doesn't help....
- ...but I can get into the S/W screen just fine!
- The devices COM port shows up in device manager
- ...but not the ADB
The LGMobile Support Tool does recognize the device just fine and I can start the phone update process, however, my Internet right now is dead slow, so I'd be waiting for 8 hours for the download to complete (with a chance of things going wrong, again).
I hoped I could flash using the offline KDZ flasher again (as I did previously). However, it keeps complaining that my phone is not connected. I assume this has to do with the fact that the ADB is not initialized?
Anybody knows a way out of this? How to get the ADB up while in S/W mode?
Or at least some feedback on where exactly I made the mistake, so I can learn for the future?
Edit1: Note that I did make a backup of the phone in V10A state, so getting back into recovery would also help!
Edit2: Could this "fastboot" thing help? If I got the phone into fastboot mode, what specifically could I do to unbrick?
Cm won't work without unlocked bootloader. SW is a bit flaky in JB. What you need to do is get p1 (xloader) and p2(uboot) dump from same variant phone as you have. These dumps need to be from ICS then you have to use fastboot to flash them. S/W mode should work fine after that. I'll update my post with more details when I have more time.

Hi, I can provvide x-loader and u-boot from ICS but I think you need the boot.img (kernel) because you flashed the cm's kernel with locked bootloader and that caused the security error.
Anyway with LG mobile support tool you can configure an http server to download the kdz from your PC (VERY fast).
As soon as I get home I will post x-loader, u-boot and boot.img from ICS

They are from V10H. Unfortunatly I can't find my dump of ICS' u-boot, anyway I think you only need the boot.img.
Once you get in fastboot mode, run this command:

This should fix the security error...
To get adb working you can boot into LG's stock recovery if you didn't flash CWM from fastboot ([vol+] + [home] + [power]).

LG Mobile support tool is the easiest way..
You should download the last kdz for your IMEI (the version that the tool can find) and place it in:
"C:\shttps\www\swdata\WDLSW\LGP760\XXXXXX\VX0x_00\VX0x_00.kdz" and set the http port to 80.
(Replace Xs with your kdz info, you can grab them from the kdz link).
You should put only one of the two lines in the hosts file, I don't remember whick one but you can try..
LG Mobile Support Tool will connect to the internet but it will "download" the kdz from your PC, it will be very fast.

Next problem: I just tried to go through the regular update (without any offline tricks). It now asks for S/N and IMEI data (which I happily provide). Then update stops immediately:

If that procedure doesn't work, follow my previous post
Sorry but flashing boot.img will get you nowhere, system partition has been overwritten by cm, best you'll get is bootloop.
I don't know if lg intentionally broke sw mode in JB or why it doesn't work but that's why your phone isn't being detected by lg tool or kdz flasher and you won't be able to fix security error with plain adb.
to dump:

to restore

I'm not sure, either... this is mostly new to me, and I know just as much as I learned today (which is already a lot ).
Theoretically you could use xloader and uboot from ics of p765 or p768

You need a backup in .tar format to restore it from adb, you made it in the new CWM format and I don't know if it's possible to restore it from adb. Maybe if you flash my x-loader and my u-boot you will have unlocked bootloader to flash a real recovery to restore it.

Then try to enter in recovery with [vol+] + [home] + [power], you should be into CWM.

Trying to downgrade my stock KitKat V20D LG L9 II to some previous version via LG Flash Tool 2014 (tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2797190) but still getting stuck:
During the flashing the progress stops at 4 % and shows "Upgrade stopped due to an error"
Tried to use various firmware from http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=37 but non was working.
I have correct drivers + reinstalled multipletimes, COM port set to 41, tried two USB cables and 2 ports, tried both in Download Mode and with running phone.
The official LG Mobile Support Tool works fine - I can reinstall latest FW via it!
Running Win7.
Anything else I should try?
I'm really desperate now, spent 5 hours with no reason.

just try other lg flash tool. But if begines and it randomly errors, is probably the cable/usb port/computer issues. On my pc for example on most ports randomly erorrs, rarely finishes, and on other ports, works perfectly everytime. (i do have an unfit powersuplly so ....)
Neither the older LG Flash Tool is not working for me.
And I tried 3 different cables, different ports... And I have no other computer available right now. But the errors are not random, it simply dosnt work at all.
can u post the flasher log pls.
How can i get a log from LG Flash Tool 2014?
Dont know where the log is on LG Flash Tool 2014, but try the older version in the attachement, and the log is right in the main window.

flash the kdz in download/rescue mode. Check what drivers apear in windows device manager thing (LG modem there ?). Make sure the phone battery is full. Did u install the msxml and windows enabler? Reinstall drivers. It errores on all ports in the same place, or it starts to send data and crashes after. Run the application in "administrative mode".
Everything tried, no effect.
But I tried to flash another version of firmware - D60520c_00.kdz and it worked!
So problem is solved now, thanks for your time

Chm, the 20C version is also not rootable :-/
Will try another computer to make downgrade.
Second computer, totally same situation! :/
Problem is probably in the phone, not in computer config.

is the 10A u got valid ? try a different one. Also 20D (and prob 20C too) is rootable, the only problem is that u just cant install a custom boot on it.

for 20A-20D root: http://forum.xda-developers.com/opt...ot-l9-d605-stock-recovery-4-4-2-v20a-t2964723 , make an primary ext2/3/4 partition, boot in mormal recovery, and aplly zip (root_v2A.zip)
But if u want custom recovery u must go V10A. (unless TWRP workes installed via 20x, but i dont belive so, i use CWM so i dont know) Keep on trying different versions of 10A/computers, dont know what to say, if 1 kdz worked all should ...
