The firmware has been very stable and one of the mostly used one. In 10 days it has been downloaded over 800+ times and counting.

It works only for Calls and SMS. If you want it work for more programs then use Lightflow app
Does this one have battery issues too?
All the ROMs do not have battery issues by default. It is upto the used programms and apps which eat more battery

Granted. But I meant the drop off at 30% to 15%. On an off topic note I got control of the other one by taking out some sys apps.

printer spooler, live wallparpers (all), The file explorer, froze the market feedback agent. I forgot what else. I've been running it all day without complaint. This morning 100% at 5:30 now it 5:40 p.m. at 67% heavy use. But I haven't tried turning back on the auto sync.
How the internal memory partition for 8gb row. It is like on row stock kitkat rom where apps and internal combined together.

in fact i used row s228 before, after i flash this rom, my internal storage only got 5,79Gb
but this rom is very smooth and i like it, even i got fake nvram error in my wifi but i can still using my wifi connection flawless

Usualy NVRAM is afected in IMEI AREA.
Look for your IMEI. *#06#

Thanks for the feedback. I also am running the same and I have not had any issues with hissing while music playback, though when I connect the phone to my creative 2.1 speakers, I do get some extra noise which wasn't present in jellybean. I am hoping that further updates fix this. My next plan is to wait for the next update which LG is sure to release (with knock code) which should also fix other small issues and then make a similar flashable zip, though this time with custom recovery as well.

I used this on my 32GB G2 and works fine.
Yes you can restore the backup.
Waiting for D80220c/b for India with knock code and bug fixes. Once that comes I'll update the zip and create new instructions.

Thank you. I Still havent found any bugs and i have been using this same ROM for about 25 days now. I see the bluetooth in the battery stats, but its not draining any actual battery when i cross check in GSAM and BetterbatteryStats.
I did not face any hissing/crackling sound in both the stock earbuds and in the aftermarket SONY earbuds that i use.
I am very happy with the 2/2.5 days battery life with 6+ hours SOT that i get on a regular basis on this ROM. This is with 3g data on all the time, and with battery saver on when i am sleeping.
I know this will only improve once we have the next update with knock code and bug fixes. I am waiting for an Open European Update/ Indian Update to go ahead and create a new zip file with root etc.:laugh:

The camara is working fine and battery is holding on 77% with 10 hours of use (more and less) with wi-fi on and a couple of calls and maybe 20 messages.
Are u able to record and save a video with the default camera, and can u enter on language defenitions?

i see it now but very low, 1%. but maybe it is because I've not removed camera2.apk yet, as usually i immediately delete it and never see that process running

with stock camera only pictures can be stored. not videos. but if you install lenovo camera, then both pictures and videos can be properly stored (in temasek even lenovo camera doesn't work for me ;( )
and yes input and language in settings is now working fine

The 31 has a baseband issue. The ROM doesn't detect my sim card..
it is working fine here. did you clean flash it and/or removed some apps from system? because i seem to experience same problem when deleting some apps from sysyem..

working fine here for both pictures and video. I see there are plenty of versions for lenovo camera, be sure to use com.lenovo.scg-1.apk (in details, version 3.6.7.0159.140707.31809)

last night I lost 30% of battery during airplane mod. Alarm bug still persists. Now I'll try the new build
Finally, we are having CM11 at the normal level. We (andreya108 and myself) were working very hard on CM11 and this the outcome. This is the joint work by both of us so please thank andreya108. There are lot of unknown issues to be tested and fixed but the most disastrous bugs are not present anymore. E.g. uncontrolled processor, reboots, battery drain, unstable GPS etc. From here onwards, we can discuss the issues arisen from long-term use of firmware since before this nobody had used this for daily. We do not claim that this is the complete version hence please do not flood the thread. If you have an issue send a personal message. At this moment, it is only for CN layout. This is just a beginning……

It could take a while to get the SIM signal if you are in roaming, if not choose operator manually and restart.
Work in progress ... If you encounter problem try to find some apk which can do job for you.

Cyanogenmod for this device was beyond our imagination.
There still little bugs but the most important ones are fixed.
Also if you experience battery drain, it is due to gapps. serach xda to disbale the waklock by google play services using privacy option

Hello,
S226 is ROW version ROM. This cm ROM is for CN layout. First You have to flash CN based ROM using flashtool after that only flash this ROM using twrp recovery.

Yes, main bugs are fixed.
Using this ROM. Great ROM.
Till now working as mentioned in your main post. Not found any major bugs.
Can be used daily if cyanogenmod is your priority.

Please backup ur IMEI number. Also note that once ur on CM version and u restore ur IMEI, u will have to follow a process to hard write the IMEI number back to ur phone. Else every time u do a factory reset, it will erase the IMEI

Hi @stympy, thank you for your help. I flashed CM11-B2 successfully yesterday and so far everything seems to be good. I do have one question, however. The MIUI ROM you linked me to apparently disables internal phone memory and moves everything to external SD. Can you please link me to a FlashTool flashable CN based ROM that doesn't do this? Thank you!

Link. One of the best firmware. Unfortunately this one has no TWRP. You can install TWRP by using my tutorial fromQ&A section/Rooting tutorial for kitkat.

Hi, this is my first thread so go easy on me.
I flashed CM13 on my device sometimes after 2 weeks after it came out. Besides the bugs that was already there in Unofficial CM13 I faced an extra problem.
My Gallery fails to load Images/Video thumbnails and just shows up as empty black spaces. And after some time Gallery stops responding, and I have to force close it. Here is the list of stuff I tried to remedy this:
1) Clearing Media Storage data and doing a re scan using media.Re.Scan.
2) Wiping Cache/Dalvik Cache
I don't have this problem on Stock, only on CM13 based ROM's. And I'm sure I clean installed CM13 properly.
And I got this from the logcat:

Every ROM has a different effect on every device, Most people vote cardinal is the best but not for me.
If you patient enough you can look at this thread, he is literally testing a plenty rom one by one, just for a guideline

A kernel have a lot more to do with battery life than the rom it self.
If you want good battery life, get a good kernel.
I've only tried adesh and alexey roms so far can't say much about the others but I get the feeling many of them are similar. adesh RR+franco kernel has been the best for me. there are a few minor bugs that bother some people not enough to stop it from being a daily driver to me though because of the battery life and performance being more important. and adesh is good dev he'll most likely fix it soon

Just go ahead and root your phone then download device manager and set everything to low and see the difference it let me know that i have 13 days battery standby

No best rom for good battery. Only how you treat your.phone to save your battery.
