Hi all,
I waited for the official android M release and apply it kindly only when proposed on my Nexus 9 (OTA upgrade).
At reboot, the upgrade wasnt succelfull and my tablet begin to boot loop with the error logo, so I decided to go enter in fastboot and factory reset it.
It clear all datas, display android 5 logo at boot but now :
- I cant reach fastboot anymore
- my Nexus boots well (no more loops) but cant load any google app, so it is looping errors messages like : "Unfortunately, Google {choose a gg app here : settings, play, map, etc... } has stopped". The upper bar displays well the hour and battery gauge, but I cant do anything.
It looks soft-bricked but I've no idea what to do to cure this damn tablet. Do someone get that problem or have a solution in mind ?
Thanks !

You might try wugfresh's unbrick routine. Good luck.
Try this solution here:

We had the same upgrade issue but unfortunatly I can't reach the boot loader (by pressing power+vol down), so this solution can't fix my problem.
edit : erratum, I can reach HBOOT so I'll test his procedure

Hello guys! I am very new here. I hope you can help me by any chance. As stated on the title itself I got a Lenovo ideapad K1 getting error such Unrecoverable Bootloader Error (0x0000004). This how it happens before I get the error.
I was currently running Kaschemme's custom rom for lenovo k1, CM10.1(android 4.2.2). I have this tablet where the physical home key is faulty I have read from some Lenovo k1 thread how to fix it. Then tried the method then it worked. The next morning, I used the K1 and its a bit acting up and started lagging then hang's up. I do a force shutdown then tried the method again to make the home key work while booting up until it reaches the homescreen then instatntly hung up. This happened 3x and I used the same previous method every time a boot up the tablet. For that 3rd time it never reached the homescreen I had a series of hanging at the Cyanogen boot animation and did a force shutdown and never tried using the method to make the home key work. After these series of hanging and force shutdown at the bootanimation, now it only boots up until the Lenovo logo and never passed that logo. After that I decided to reinstall Kaschemme's CM10.1 for lenovo k1 by entering to APX mode then when installing and everything was successful waited for my tablet to reboot but NO REBOOT happened, but instead I got the aforementioned error. I even tried to reinstall that same ROM and even, AOSP JB by Khanning, HC stock, HC rooted rom for Lenovo K1 and no luck at all.
Untill now I can't figure out what had just happened and how and why I got that silly error. Hope you guys, Lenovo k1 users especially , can help me specially to Kaschemme who did very good job in supporting the lenovo K1 users.
THANKS in advance
Just in case in the future I might be able to solve this or somebody out there will be kind to help with my problem with my Lenovo k1
Just tonight, I tried to install the ROM CM10.1 by Kashchemme as soon as it reached the last .img to fully installed and before the device should reboot I tried to force shutdown before I see the ERROR message again. When I turned it on it immediatly went to APX mode without pressing the 2 volume buttons together with the power button. I tried to force shutdown it for 3 times and it always went to APX mode. Tried to install Rooted HC by Khanning, it reaches the last .img (userdata.img) to be installed successfully but still no luck and I got the additional information
failed executing command 25 NvError 0x120002
command failure: sync failed <bad data>
bootloader status: Bct Write Failed <code: 22> message: nverror:0x42004 <0x42004
> flags: 0
Pleae help what do these things mean and how can I recover my tablet. Is Jtag possible? how to JTAG this lenovo k1? please anybody share your knowledge. Thanks
My LENOVO K1 is finally alive and working after so many attempts
Just an update
Right after my recent post tried to reboot my tablet. It boots up. The Lenovo Logo showed again and it proceeds and showed the NVIDIA logo then after that another Lenovo logo until it reaches the homescreen. Finally my tablet is FInally ALIVE so happy that I saved my old ROM's which brought my tablet back to life.
Now I don't know if I am running the rooted one or not because I don't see the SUPERUSER app on this HC rooted by Khanning.
If anyone of you might have the same problem with your LENOVO K1 try the way I did. Just read my previous posts. If you have any question that I might able to help jut let me know.
LONG LIVE ANDROID!!!!!
I am having the same issue, while trying to flash Kaschemme's CM10.1 i got the "unrecoverable bootloader error (0x00000004). could you tell me where you got the version of HC that you were able to get running?

I think it was just a storke of luck. Because right now after several times of attempt I upgrade my K1 to Kaschemme's Rom my K1 always get bricked. I did it for about 7 times of reviving back to HC. Now my tablet is totally useless. I even tried to do the bake technique but still having error I might try it as well on Sunday. Just keep on pushing the HC and you will able to revive it soon. Good luck.

A factory reset must be done from settings or from recovery(stock or custom like TWRP).
If you cannot acces setings in your Android you could do factory reset from recovery.
To enter or acces recovery you must do: power off your phone. Start yout phone with volume+ volume - and power buttons pressed all together.
Once entered in recovery you must do wipe. NOT ADVANCE WIPE.
Good Luck.
This is a friend's tablet I had to root and install CyanogenMod because he wanted an app that did not work on his tablet.
Well, it worked on CyanogenMod for the last 2 years and he was happy with it !
But he brought me back the tablet saying it does not work any more.
I see the Tab not 10.1 logo and the CyanogenMod logo turning. It does the entire circle before it freezes for 5 secondes and shutdown the tablet. Then I see the charging logo.
I can start into recovery mode and downloading mode.
But in recovery mode, if I try to start un backup or factory default, the tablet freezes !
I guess that means it died ?
I tried to push the newest CyanogenMod version for this tablet but when i try to install it, it says the files is bad .. I cannot find a way to delete it and resend it !
I tried re-installing the old CyanogenMod that was still in the tablet. It installed with no error but still the same issue !
Any idea if the tablet is dead ?
Thank you for your help,
Martin L.
It's not dead. I would say you need to reflash using ODIN. Google "Install CM for p4wifi"
You will likely lose all data.
I need help immediately cause I am paniking. So I rooted my phone using the KingRoot application, and after the root was succesful used SuperSu-Me to remove KingRoot. SuperSu-Me installed SuperSU on my device which in turn had to install an update, so I let it do its thing. After the update was installed SuperSU prompted me to reboot my phone so i did. Problem is the phone has been stuck for about half an hour in the shifting shapes screen, fastboot doesn't work. I have tried hard reseting it but the problem persists.

Found a solution?
My solution
I fixed it by unlocking the bootloader in fastboot mode, flashing TWRP and using it to flash the original version of the oxygen os, the one that came preloaded with the phone.

Help me pleaaase (( My phone is very important to me. I've been searching for forums and I only found yours that had the same problem with me. By now it's about 1hr just stuck in there ( please help me im begging you!

First, please don't follow instructions you're finding on this specific forum since it's for the OnePlus X, not the Starmobile. Secondly you needed to unlock your bootloader first, since you didn't from the sounds of it you can't boot into Android since it's now tampered. You'll need to boot into recovery, usually by pressing Power + Volume Down until it loads and factory reset your device.

Try to find out your solution in your device's forums, since this forums is for the OnePlus X and not the Starmobile Knight Luxe.
If your device is stuck on the bootup screen, you need to go to fastboot mode, unlock the bootloader (if you haven't), flash a custom recovery, boot into the recovery, and factory reset the device. It should work.
Guys!!! Thank you for all your suggestions. I did flash a custom recovery but it fails simultaneously. I just let it fix on a local phone repair shop just paid a few bucks
