Hey! I'm currently on the lastest samsung firmware (COI9).
But i want to return to my carriers firmware (restore it as just bought) and it's firmware is G925F_HTS_G925FXXU2BOFJ_G925FHTS2BOF1.
Is this possible ? Odin fails for me. Any help?
Both 5.1 firmwares.
I can tell you. No it doesn't work ☺

Sorry for my english.
I flashed a rom with odin without write the version of My original rom.
If i will need of samsung assistence how i can find it?

Flash a stock ROM from your region and hope for the best that Samsung will accept it. It's common knowledge that if you flash a new, different ROM, you are essentially voiding your warranty.
is it impossible to understand which version i had by the imei o s/n?
Hello guys
I'll ask you if it's possible to get rid of my Vodafone brand without root and trip the Knox...
Can I just flash a unbranded rom from sammobile? Of course using latest Odin 3.10.6
Regards
Yes
I need to wipe everything I guess?
Yes, just download the XEU UK & Ireland firmware and flash it via odin. You won't trip knox and will remain official. If you do a clean factory restore after to align CSC you will notice that this version doesn't have all the crappie like Facebook, Instagram or What's app pre-installed either.

I have an AT&T S7 Edge and replaced my sm-g935a firmware with the sm-g935u unlocked firmware. I want to know how i can permanently root this. I rooted before on my g935a but after a reboot i was stuck in a boot loop and the only way around it was a factory reset. I dont want to keep resetting my phone so i installed the g935u firmware but cant find how to root in my specific situation. I don t know if my qualcomm chip will be a problem.

Unfortunately no. You got different modem etc on A310M.
It's better that you wait for a flashable zip of these system files, or for nougat update for A710M.

Yes, you can flash stock rom with Odin even if you got root and TWRP.
You'll have to flash twrp and root it again afterwards, if you want root..
Ok thank you for your reply @tys0n

Hi, what is the use of this odin-flashable method? Is it for those who have not yet received the OTA update ? Or something else? like VoLte fix or something. I updated my A710FD with the OTA and now i am unable to make any calls from JIO sim

hi why you give 4 files there is one file is enough for new firmware that is "AP_A710FXXU2CQDC_CL11100407_QB13323947_REV00_user_ low_ship_meta.tar.md5" so the rest of files is needed for what, please explain? :good:

Here's the nougat firmware available as odin flashable file(not files). Yes, you have to register to download it, but you'll know it's legit and you'll find the firmware for YOUR particular device without asking "can I install it on X or Y model".

4-file firmwares are used to repair software. They usually contanis a few additional partitions which is not included in the 1-file package. Files are flashed by their binary nature. BL, AP, CP & CSC together with pit-file and performs factory reset, wiping all userdata.
1-files are marked HOME.
4-files are marked user_low_ship.
Factory Combination firmware are marked no_ship.
Model SM-G930U
version 6.0.1
Where do I go to update it to the latest version and will I lose my root? Thanks a lot.
You can take a Step Back Or Can Jump a Few Steps Forward.
First How To get Stock Latest.
1:Unroot your Phone.(go to supersu>settings>Unroot Complete Unroot)
2:Go to settings>Update.
If that didn't work try A full firmware flash from Odin on Pc
Or you can Flash TWRP and can have Custom ROMs and better functionality

What firmware do I flash using Odin for the latest s7 att upgrade? Do I just flash on top of my current or do I have to unroot first?

No.You don't Need To Unroot Or Do Anything.Just Backup Your Data. You will Lose Root after The Firmware Flash.
You need Either a specific Region Firmware Or Anything That Isn't corrupted.
Go here and Fill out the form and Download the firmware.Latest Is 7.0
https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-s7/SM-G930U/
If It is not the latest Then After flashing Go to settings About Device and Bang On Device Updates.
Again You'll lose your Root.
