Sorry if this is not correct place for this question but I can't seem to fin it in the forums and this is about the only place the site will allow me to post as a new member. I have the original Samsung Galaxy Tab from Tmobile which is the SGH- T849 model and Tmobile simply does not release any software updates or firmware but i have seen many who have now figured out ICS on this first gen. in the forums I see all the other gsm variants get stuff but it is as if no one knows there is a Tmobile version. Can anyone direct me to how or where to get info on getting ics setup on mine? I am rooted but not unlocked, I would like to unlock if anyone has a link to how to do that also.Thanks in advance just bored of froyo on my Tab and on my Boost Evo4 G

Sorry about posting in wrong area...I read the Q&A but just read it again. I don't think I broke any rules as I can see. I did search forums using the site search box and nothing comes up on my topic which is why I asked. Did I do something else I was allowed to do or you just want to make sure I read the forum rules? Sorry if I did I just don't see anything I did not allowed so If I did just let me know thanks.

can someone please help me
ive got a samsung galaxy S4
it was playing up on me so i did a restore but before that i did a back up on the phone
i did a back by going to setting > accounts > cloud > backup
then i did a full restore on the phone
now i cant find the last sync point
how can i find this? i didnt connect the phone to my the pc so nothing was backed up on the pc

I have flashed rom s4 revolution rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2311671
and checked to flash new modem, now i dont have network, calls, sms, 3g don't work.
restored old my rom (cm10.2) updated nothing works. Maybe someone can tell me what modem i should install?

We have a sticky thread all about IMEI / EFS issues. This is because if you do a search here now, you'll find literally hundreds of threads all about the same thing.
