What are the chances of this device getting official CyanogenMod ROM development?
I not think we can get Official CyanogenMod, maybe Unofficial, built by weself....

I currently have a galaxy s5 and I want to put Cyanogemod on it. Currently there is not a stable version of CM12 released and wanted to know if anyone knows when the stable version of CM 12 will be released which will be based upon Android Lollipop

As always the final product will be released whenever the Cyanogenmod team, deems it is stable enough, in the meantime you can likely expect milestone builds to start arriving in the next month or so.
Is there anyone who can shed some light on possible official ports for i9300 from OmniRom and CyanogenMod? Will there be any official support from them?

Unless the devs here at XDA decide to become official CM12 developers for the i9300, there will be no official builds of either CM12 or OmniROM for the i9300.
I spotted some 5.0 related activity at OMNI gerrit today (though it could be red herring)....

I have a 4.1 tab...
Can i install cm11 in that tab ???
Most likely, check the official CM website to see if they've have CM builds for your tablet, if not check the development section of your tablet, depending on its popularity there should be unofficial ports by other developers.
! I clearly declare that it is not builded by me, but my friend, GreenF([email protected]) did ! Please note that I am just maintaining the thread, and do not take credit for these builds. !
CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 5.1 (Lollipop), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
This build is UNOFFICIAL build, so it can be more unstable than official builds.
Almost same as official builds, but this unofficial build has less small lags than officials.
This ROM is only for UMTS SPYDER!
He will support for spyder, soon.

Recently I've been interested in creating a stock Nougat ROM or CyanogenMod 14.1 ROM for my Samsung Galaxy Alpha (SM-G850F). I've been reading and watching a lot of tutorials on how to go on about doing this but the example phones which they use have supported official CM builds unlike my SM-G850F. I was going to follow this tutorial but stopped at getting the proprietary blobs when mentioned that his phone is supported in the official CM directories. I then went surfing the net to see if I could extract the proprietary blobs from a ZIP which ended me up at this website which says yes, I can. However, my question is if I can use an unofficial build such as [5.1.x][SM-G850F] CyanogenMod 12.1 UNOFFICIAL for the Galaxy Alpha (slte) (final) to get the proprietary blobs for CM14.1? Despite that ROM being built for CM12.1. Another question is if building a stock AOSP ROM is easier than building a CM ROM and where to go to get the proprietary files for AOSP rom building. Thanks guys!
