Hey friends, is there any way to enable DT2W (Double Tap to Wake) for otus? I'm so used to it since my past phones and since I got this as a secondary phone I'm missing this feature so much. I'm still wondering why Motorola left this feature out, since almost all new phones have native support for this. I also saw that some developer made it possible in Moto E 1st Generation. Is there a kernel dev out here who can make this happen for us too?

Hey all! I'm a long-time reader, first-time-poster. I've got an LG Optimus G Pro for AT&T ( E980 for USA). I've gone through all those crazy steps and got CM 10.2 running sweetly on it with the new 9/4 release (Thank you MadMack and @Shelnutt2 and airk000 for it!)
ISSUES NEEDING HELP:
Speakerphone is causing tons of noise and echo and reverb for people on other end of call.
NFC Quick-Switch Tile won't work
LG IR Remote app won't show up on lock screen or quick slide...
any way we can get those cool windowed multi-tasking simul-view apps features
Google Wallet still won't finish setting up, even with all the Xposed fixes.
Broad, I know. But any fixes would be seriously appreciated...or any insight into some settings for fixing these issues.
Take care y'all.

Hi,
Does anyone know if the Moto E 2015 4G (Surnia) supports the double tap to wake feature? (I've got the UK SIM free version)
I read somewhere that this is a native Lollipop feature if the device supports it, but can't see the option. Does that mean it can't?
The phone is happy to wait for me to say "OK Google" so I don't see why it can't also be on the lookout for a double tap!
I also noticed that the original Moto E had custom kernels that supported this feature. So maybe I need to wait for a kind developer to introduce this feature?
Many thanks...
No, but support can be added in custom kernels even on devices with KK. You might have better luck asking a Surnia dev.

Hello!
I have a question about Accessibility Services and Password enhanced encryption in Android N.
I have not installed any of developer previews on my device (Nexus 5X), because I use for my every-day stuff and it is my only device, so I cannot afford any issues.
But I am wondering if it will be mandatory to disable password enhanced encryption in Android N or will new Direct Boot feature take care of that?
Thank you!
im actually on the latest N preview for my n5x and its the most stable rom i have been on since i got the phone. but i cant help you with your question
[SOLVED]
For anyone having the same question.
I have managed to solve my issue. The soultion is not exactly Android N related, but it do not see why it would not work (it is tested on Android 6).

Hey how is the development progress of the android N project?
I have been researching alot on this but came up with nothing.
Most of them were just under beta testing but soon to be released..
Just hoping for a early release...

Hello everyone,
Is anyone having problems displaying youtube notifications on Moto Display? When I receive a notification from youtube app, I hear the sound; but it shows nothing when I wave my hand over the phone. I'd like to know if I'm the only one experiecing this, cause I've never read it anywhere. I have a Moto Z XT1650-03 running the latest update with august security patches, totally stock (no root or unlocked bootloader, etc).
Sorry if I posted on the wrong section, first post on XDA. Also, english isn't my first language; so plz be nice

Thanks :good:. I'd like to know why nobody complains about it. I've only seen this problem with YouTube app, but other apps could have it too. Since this phone doesn't have a LED for notifications, the only way to see the notifications is with the Moto Display; which has proven to be untrustworthy.
Well I hope many of the Budget King Users (Kenzo) unlocked the bootloader and started flashing new Roms and Kernels .
Am a Google Stock Desert Fan so I always try to flash Roms close to Pixel well recently I flashed pure nexus(its a gem) and the google assitant in it is working great it unlocks my phone and reponds from any screen with The Hotword "Ok Google"
Now the question is ot possible to unlock my phone and wake up the Assistant when my screen is off (like the Pixel phones itself) and the phone is not charging . Well when the phone is charging it unlocks but when its not then I cant do anything.
That feature is device specific and not supported on "Kenzo"!

Is there any way to turn it on and is it available on Moto g5 plus
Not that I'm aware of! Maybe someone might release a build.prop edit or xposed module to enable it!
