Hi,
Is there any good cases out yet for the Z5 Premium?
I'm looking for a clear one that covers the buttons but not the fingerprint sensor. I like the Orzly Fusion Case but it doesn't cover the buttons. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161835522498?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
I pre ordered mine and hope to receive it in a couple of weeks

What brand glass screen protector do you use?
I have one from Roxfit, but I think it's made by Nilkin (same cloth, alcohol cloth and peel label) and it fits nice (size wise), but on the edges of the glass there is a space with air under it. You can swipe it way, but when you release it comes back.
It's most visible on the top, on the camera and light sensor hole (see img).

I also have the Sony Style Cover, love the case as it keeps the phone sleek, but that glass window is a real fingerprint magnet.
**Edit** On a side note, the screen window doesn't work properly if you changed your dpi, I had to change mine back to 480 before it displayed properly again.
I need to wait for my order buyd a dark red goospery silicon case
I went for the Orzly Fusion Bumper, it looks lovely in the picture but the finish is a bit sub par.
Really want Spigen to make one!
for the moment i will buy the original one but in the future some of this

I bought the Orzly Fusion Transparent Bumper Case and I'm quite underwhelmed. It gets easily scratched and it gets a lot of nasty fingerprints. It does provide protection but it makes a very premium device look very cheap. Wouldn't really recommend it.
Can anyone recommend a good transparent case?

I found a work around for that,
Change DPI to 480, enable style cover, change back to which dpi you want (in my case 280) and it works just fine. just dont disable it
I just got the Sony style cover and I'm really impressed! Its makes the phone feel extremely premium.
You dont have to have the NFC always on for it to work and it comes with a downloadable theme that goes great with the cover. I got the white one but I'd recommend getting the black one cause its going to get dirty quick.

Nice! I couldn't tell if it was a bumper type case or not from the pics. But that's exactly what i was looking for. (Keeps heat down)
Just ordered it yesterday. Hope it's good.
Also ordered 1 for myself, saw this from the other thread. I am however using Spigen Spg but since it doesn't fully cover the sides, I got this one. Basing on the screenshots, this is the right case for me.
Ill agree. I'm also using this case. Love it. It also fits in the Pdair vertical leather belt holster (found on Amazon) perfectly while in the boxwave. Added protection and great way to carry on your belt/pants.

The clear back of the case allows for insertion of photos.
Oh it's clear on the back... so it's not a bumper...
Not a bumper. It's got a frosted back.
I got the same case but from yoobao if that matters in white for my white Note. My device has a new name "Cocaine White". lol

i just recieved the generic version of this case from ebay for 8 bux same style and everything. i have the white with clear backing. the white is kind of has a matte finish thats tpu and does get dirty pretty fast. the clear part is some type of hard plastic. ill take some snaps shots after work.
edit:
going over the case fully i have noticed the cut out for the top mic is a little out of place and the cut out for the usb is too small to fit the usb carger. also the clear back part picked up scratches way too easy.
works with the aluminum metal back cover.

I always use antiglare screen protectors but this one is a bit on the thicker side. It went on very easy and no bubbles whatsoever but I can add the worst screen protector without bubbles. Having the white surrounding area is new for me. Looks good but for the price I would wait for that Glass coming out from SGP.
Just bought this. Heard it was the damn same as the yoobao. Plus all the good reviews. Can't beat it for 12 bucks

I ordered the Boxwave version in white with a frosted back on Amazon, I can't wait to get it! Anybody had any issues so far with the white plastic getting dirty? Almost bought black for that reason (since the white back would still show through the clear), but I love the all-white look on some of the images I've seen.
For anyone that needs a case until sprint or best buy gets some in this is a solid case I got from t-mobile they also had a body glove case as well

Last night I got the only case available at the closest T-Mobile store. It's from Tech21 and cost $35, with a nice grippy texture & "D3O impact material".
Meh.
Here's a picture taken with my nexus 10 that might show the poor fit at the side of the screen.
View attachment 2303496
That extra shiny edge at the right is the silver frame/side of the Note 3.
I'll probably return it today because the sides flex too much & I'm afraid it'll screw up a screen protector.
It also makes the phone a little harder to fit in some pockets because of the combination of added bulk & drag from the texture.
I'll try to get something with a TPO inner layer and enough plastic on the outside to not drag too badly going into a pocket. That might be like looking for a unicorn since there are so few cases available right now, and almost none I can see in person.

I have same case as well. It's very slim.
I got that case too for now, it fits perfectly if you squeeze in all around as it molds to the phone a little bit and you won't see any gap afterwards. If it was clear and not smoky I would keep it, there are alternatives on Amazon for 1/3rd the price. Not that I mind spending 35 dollars for a case but not one so simple, give me a slim fit Speck or BodyGlove with a kickstand and I'm all over it and they usually go for 25 -35 dollars.
Tech21
I bought one these also for TMO note 3 until they start pushing out some other choices.

OK, I returned the Tech 21 case and they showed me another that came in today. It was by Bodyglove, the same price, made of shiny black TPU. It felt good on the phone and had a good grip in the hand. The sides felt a little stiffer than the first on, EXCEPT at the buttons. Above the buttons the TPU flexed way too much. I'm pretty sure it'll rub at the edge of a screen protector, maybe enough to make the screen protector lift.
I'll just have to wait on a Slim Armor, or something else with a hard shell over a soft liner.

I ended up buying the body glove for now, and so far its pretty good, I can't wait for my UAG case to come in though.
I bought this a temporary, and it's not that great imo , as the power button is pretty hard to depress.
I also bought this as a "temporary case" and actually like it as well-- much slimmer than I thought it would be. I also like the "grippy" material on the back that doesn't slide around in my car. I had the "official" samsung case on my note 2, and that thing would fly across my car/lap/seat any time I made a turn.
Look forward to seeing other options come out though. Great job by Tech21, imo.

Hello ,
I'm having this Idea about using a metal ring bumper case along with the S-View cover from samsung, That way i would get good protection +the good feeling of both metal and leather combined (I do love the leather-ish back and the part i am most concerned about is actually the plastic chrome plated frame of the phone)
Do you have experience with metal encasement? would you think it would effect signal strength if only the side frame was covered?
PS: Thats the only metal frame I've found on Amazon

I've ordered the poetic and s line cases. the s line case for my note 2 is fine although the stand is flimsy. it only cost 5 bucks though so what are you going to do. I'm hoping the stand for the poetic holds up when you press on the screen.
That aluminum bumper looks nice, until In noticed that weird bump out on the lower left corner as seen from the front. Likely for a lanyard loop, but wow, what an awkward execution of that feature.

Still looks awkward, but I guess it needs some means of latching.
This one is a little more protective, a little bulkier though.

I zoomed in on the picture and it looks like there will be no scratch protection for the back. You can see the fake stitching, so the back must stick out enough to scratch the cover & camera whenever you lay it down.
I'd also expect the inside of these aluminum bumpers to do horrible damage to the phone, it looks like there's no protection between the phone & the aluminum.
Can someone with an aluminum bumper comment, please?

We will see, I ordered it. I could care less about the dumb removable

I hope the back door still comes off really with this.

I've never cared for carrying & changing batteries, so I like the wireless charging adapters. That way there's no need to remove the back. Even if you don't worry about scratching the back cover, bumpers don't protect the camera.
There's another aluminum bumper you might like, instead of needing to remove a screw to change batteries, the frame slides apart.

I have had this case fitted for the past week and have nothing but praise for it. As the title says it is really slim and still makes the G3 feel very low profile. It offers all round protection and it also comes with a really good screen protector. All ports are very accessible with the case fitted and i like the cut outs where the camera lens and LEDs are. For £9 including a decent screen protector im loving this case. I shall post some pics up later

I've just got the ringke slim in white, it has a cutout for the antenna (not on my model), and a free screen protector. The protector went on with a billion bubbles, it looks terrible, might fault I guess but now I have to order some more.
The case has a small slit on each corner to make it easier to put on, but that means it creaks a little when you use it. I'll try wireless charging in a few minutes, but first impressions are that its better than nothing, but not superb.

further to this, the case creaks and doesn't fit brilliantly. The top part obscures the IR blaster unless you keep pushing it upwards.
But it does work with a qi charger, but thats about the only good thing about it.

Ive had my case for over a week now and its never creaked once? The only good thing? I think that's a little harsh. Out of the 3 cases i bought this is by far the best but each to there own
If i told it at the bottom the i can move the top right hand side with my thumb
, and if i hold the top and bottom (ie pick it up)the entire case flexes.
It just feels cheap, maybe i got a badly made one.

Hi, I'm using this case since a month now... And what my disappointment when I removed it

Great Cases for the Honor 5X
With the Honor 5x being a budget phone, you can find so many great cases for it for fairly cheap. While looking around for a case, I think I'll list some of the good ones that I come across here.
Honor 5X Flipcover
$9.99
Even thought it's a budget phone, the 5x still comes packed with features like windowed mode for smart covers. For $9.99, you can get a flip cover directly from the Honor website. This case comes with a one year warranty from Honor.

The Kaesar is a great protective case. It has a dual layer setup with a soft rubber case and a hard plastic shell. It has amazing reviews on Amazon with a 4.9/5 stars right now. Choose from 4 different colors all for only $7.99.

I really like this case because it's very rugged without being ugly. The case looks really slick and has a nice soft touch cover. You can get it in black, grey, blue or white.

Lizimandu TPU Case
$12.90
There are a few decent cases with some cool designs on them ass well. Lizimandu offers a nice sturdy case with some different designs to choose from. The one that I really like is the "Colorful Pizzle" one (I think they meant to call it puzzle..) These cases are $12.90 on amazon.

NCASE clear case is nice, provides grip as well as transparency
had the clear case by Tektide initially and then purchased the Tudia Ultra Slim in black. Very nice case indeed.

its nice, bt sadly its not availbale in my country
Am using the back cover provided by Honor website.
It provided good grip. But now it changed to a yellowish color.
I'm unable to show off the brushed metallic finish now. Hoping to get a better long lasting back cover for my 5X.

i have used it, but NCASE transprent case has better fit, and also protection for camera lens(case provides slight bump up around the camera)

the one from honor website has turned yellowish bt the NCASE one has only slight yellowish change(un-noticable)
I just picked up the spigen rugged case. Fits awesome and feels great. Not a huge amount of protection but alot better than nothing.

Nillkin
I have been using a Nillkin case for 3 months now. Fits perfect, very slim, decent protection. Textured sides for better grip.
But the power button on the case is very sensitive.. turns off the phone frequently!!
Did anybody notice this problem?
