I have searched a lot if its possible to port an original rom from Samsung, HTC, LG, etc. to a device for the same company. For example to port the original rom for galaxy s6 to galaxy s5. In my actual case I like to port the Android 5 Rom from Galaxy Grand Prime (Model SM-G530FZ) to Galaxy Grand Prime (Model SM-G530M). This should be possible because the specs of both models are the same.
I already found many manuals on how to port a rom but all these manuals describe how to port an custom rom to an device and all of the custom roms have a META-INF inside the rom which does not exist in an original rom from Samsung etc..
Is it possible to port an original rom of an manufacturer? If yes does someone have an manual for me?
