Hi
I've flashed back-to-n00t ROM (KitKat) on my I9300, everything works flawlessly and I didn't experience any problems. Well, except one. The ROM is totally mising the weather widget, which I found very useful back when using stock JB. So I struggled and tried a lot of versions of weather widgets, from S4 and others, some flashable from recovery and some with just apk files to copy. Some of them didn't even work at all, some were crashing. Finally, I found some website with stock Jelly Bean apps from S3, containing 3 files: Weather Widget, Weather Widget Main and Daemon.
Here are the links:
Daemon

Widget
http://www6.zippyshare.com/v/25034487/file.html
Widget Main
http://www6.zippyshare.com/v/30730644/file.html
( I put these files into system/app)
And it works, I can add the widget to my screen, but there is one problem: some weird **** is displayed on the widget, percentage signs etc. I can add my city etc but this is what i see...
You can see how it works in the screen I attached. Could someone help me fixing it? Or providing some working stock widget.
Go through the same problem and solved it using the files wather widget and daemon of QS rom.

Does anyone have sIII-s digital clock widget for ics ? I found one,but it's not working for some reason for me,maybe it isn't ported yet or smth.I'm on 4.0.4 sos rom...just in case I attached the widget apk file...It doesn't install like a normal apk so I tried to push it to system apk,but it didn't show up on widgets menu...maybe because of the xperia launcher ?
any screenshots ?
what screenshots ? I don't even know if it's working or not.Use google for screenshots of s3-s original digital clock widget
It's not working because Samsung ROMs are Odexed! So is this app!
Hi,
I'm looking for a clone or port of Samsungs alarm widget found on, for example, Note 2. It's a resizable 2x1 to 2x4 widget, that has 4 placeholders for 4 alarms of your choosing. The placeholders are 2x1 each, and if the widget is resized to less than 2x4, you can scroll the contents of the widget to view all alarms. If you tap a placeholder, you can choose among the defined alarms to put in that slot. I used to keep it at 2x1 all the time -- this way, if you have a heavily alarm-driven lifestyle, you have four of your favorite/important alarms handy in a space-saving 2x1 widget.
It seems that this would fit very well with the package described in the thread Ported Touchwiz Clock Package apk v2.4 working on ICS and JB but that package ports just about everything except the widget I'm looking for... Anyone got any other tips? It doesn't have to be a TouchWiz clone, but it should have the functionality of it as described.
Bump.
Looking for this as well. To my knowledge the widget requires the touchwiz framework, but not the launcher itself. If you have touchwiz + alarm installed you should be able to use it on a different launcher. Can anyone provide a link for touchwiz port that works on CM10.1/AOSP/AOKP based rom? Iv'e tried searching for one, i found a launcher port but it contains no clock / alarm port. Only the weather port.
Hi all,
I'm not particularly sure I chose the right forum, but hey, maybe you can point me to the right place
I do have an Android 4.2.2 ROM on my phone, and I'd like to have a special widget on my lockscreen widget (it's an app displaying emergency info for paramedics, and as such intended to be shown on lockscreen). But so far I didn't manage to add it - either it takes the whole lockscreen and there's no romm for clock, wheather etc. or I can't display it on the primary lockscreen at all
My best shot so far seems to be DashClock, but among the numerous extensions I couldn't find one that displays any of the installed widgets which I could put on my homescreen.
Did I miss something? An extension? Or is there some generic way or a different lockscreen widget I could use?
Any hints appreciated
I'm pretty certain its using the stock AOSP lock screen, but the enable widgets option and add widgets screen are missing. If I long press on the one widget that's there (Lenovo's clock widget), the arrange widgets screen or whatever its called comes up, but there's only one widget on it (the clock) and no plus button. Is there any way I can force enable this? Something in build.prop, or maybe an xposed module (I have xposed framework installed)? This isn't a huge issue, the music and alarm widgets show up when their associated apps are being used, but it would be nice to replace the music and clock widgets with CyanogenMod cLock and Apollo (I copied the APKs off of another tablet running CM11 from /system/apps and installed them on the Lenovo, they work great so far even though its running the stock ROM), or be able to swipe through my emails and calendar events without unlocking the screen. I won't bother asking for a Cyanogen lock screen apk to replace the stock lock screen, since I searched through the system files and Google and can't find evidence that such a thing exists, but it would be awesome if it was floating around somewhere.
