I have Android 6 installed on my Nexus 5. I tried to root device with NRT. It finished, but device not opening because of boot loop. And in CMD i'm typing adb devices, but no results. Says device not found. Also when I'm manually entered to recovery from bootlader menu, there is red error icon. What should I do? Thanks.

I'm trying to fix my tablet. It doesn't start in bootloader or recovery mode. I already tried powering it up pressing as many combinations as imaginable, it doesn't work. I think this modes are disabled.
Then, I started trying to fix it using adb. Some commands like recovery in adb shell throw a Segmentation Fault and no other explanations.
fastboot devices returns nothing.
flash_image returns
error scanning partitions: No such file or directory
I already tried a myriad of scripts and other programs, nothing seems to work, I'm stuck with android robot dancing in loop.
That's my tablet genesis gt7200 [I can't post a link...] (probably only sold on Latin America and Asia) and it's produced by SKMtek
How can I reinstall a rom? Or atleast make it start normally again.
Have you tried "adb reboot-bootloader", "adb reboot recovery" or "adb reboot bootloader" commands?
Hello Everyone, this is one of my first posts so go easy on me.
I used the method in this thread to flash JB onto my TF201, and now i cannot boot to recovery (get the android on his back/side with the red exclamation) and fastboot shows up as a device in device manager in windows, but when i run the "fastboot devices" command with the up to date SDK nothing is listed. ADB works, but for osme reason superuser was installed as a system process and will not uninstall, and will not issue any sort of root command to anything, including ADB. any ideas?
I am on Wolla 5.0 and elementalx 6 something but I don't think these caused the stuck as the phone had been working fine.
Right before the phone was stuck, I updated an app called Lucky Patcher; I then restarted the phone and it's been stuck.
Under Devices manager, My HTC shows this device is working properly.
M8 was detected by Adb. But when I typed commands such as "fastboot reboot bootloader" or "fastboot reboot recovery" ADB shows and stuck at "waiting for device".
it has been like this for two hours.
Please help.
Try adb reboot bootloader it worked for me mate.

Unrooted device. Never checked the USB Debugging option in the device.
I can get the device to boot in Droidboot mode (REBOOT - Droidboot, REBOOT, RECOVERY, POWER OFF). At the bottom of the screen:
FASTBOOT INIT...
FASTBOOT CMD WAITING
Still ADB Devices show nothing connected same as FASTBOOT Devices.
Note:
If I connect the Tablet powered down to the PC ADB Devices lists it properly
...\Android\sdk\platform-tools>adb devices
List of devices attached
DellVenue8000210953 device
On that situation it shows under Windows Device Manager - as USB device --> "Android-Phone".
I have both Google's and Intel's USB drivers installed. Still Device Manager will list a CLOVERVIEW device
When I select RECOVERY it would run in the "Open belly Droid logo with Red Exclamation mark - NO COMMAND.
From where ABD Devices lists
..\Android\sdk\platform-tools>adb devices
List of devices attached
DellVenue8000210953 Unauthorized
Can get into System Recovery (already tried wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition a few times)
In such mode still "adb devices" show Unauthorized.
Please, do you have any hints to circumvent that?
Any help is welcome!
Thanks in advance
Jorge
I'm running into issues with my Compact X. Current situation:
- Omni 8.1 rom installed, but doesn't boot. Stuck on Sony logo.
- TRWP 3.3
- Rooted
- When in fastboot mode (vol up + connect usb cable) the device manager shows: Android Device > Sony Fastboot Interface.
- Windows 10 running in "Test mode"
- adb & fastboot v1.4.3
ADB does not recognize my device when the device is in fastboot mode. When it's in recovery mode the command 'adb devices' shows me the device listed. I can then reboot in fastboot mode, but then the device isn't listed anymore. I'm not sure what happened because a couple of hours ago I installed TWRP using fastboot.
I'm trying to get this thing up and running again, but not being able to flash anything via fastboot complicates things. Any idea's what could be the culprit?
Download official Android drivers by Google and force Install them (search: Force Install Windows drivers" anywhere preferably YouTube

Thank you for your reply. As far as I know the official drivers were already installed. Because at first my device did show up listed when using the command 'adb devices' and I successfully flashed TWRP recovery. But to be sure I repeated the process:
- Connected my phone in fastboot mode (vol up + connect usb cable). The blue led lights up.
- Go to the device manager, right click on 'Android ADB interface' device and manually install the driver via 'Have disk'.
- The driver installs with no errors.
But still my phone is not listed and I cannot flash anything.
When the phone is in recovery mode it is listed using the 'adb devices' command. But when I'm trying to flash something I get the message <waiting for device> .
Ok, I restored my computer to a point before I started messing with my phone. After installing the official drivers my phone is still not listed (adb devices), but this time flashing did work. I managed to flash the AOSP 8.1 image. My phone is up and running again!
