Is it possible to cut down a micro sim to nano sim and will it fit the sim cradle? (nano sim thiiner than micr sim?)
It is possible, but not recomended. Also the nano sim is a bit tinner and this needs some extra work.
You'll risk getting it jammed inside the device and damaging it. It's totally not worth it.
i cutted my micro sim to nano sim
working perfectly
Try that :

Thanks for the advice. I'll finally decide when it arrives!
I've also cut my nano sim with scissors.. worked much better than i expected
Cut 2 sims today used a sim adapter to get the correct place to cut , both work perfectly

Yesterday I went to local mobile store and they cut mine from micro to nano free of charge, but I had to agree that the process might ruin the sim card Works like a charm and I saved 5euro for the new sim card from carrier.

I cut down my work sim from micro to nano to fit in the OPX, just used my main sim as a template and kept checking it in the sim tray till it fitted.
So far no problems and comes out and back in again easily
Let it cut with a nano sim cutter in a mobile store, then use a nail file or emery board to make it a bit thinner and round the edges. Worked for me and doesn´t cost a cent. If it goes wrong, you can order a nano sim anyway.
basically i thought to do this, but i can't afford 3 days w/o calls if i ruin my micro sim so ordered my nano sim
the thing i'm reticent is IF i had to go back to old phone, i could not be able to use micro sim
let it cut by local rip-off mobile store for 5€. well at least it works and was less expensive than a new card from the carrier for 15€.
Cutted mine (using scissors), no problem...
Cutted mine with a bought sim cutter, works perfect

Trying to install my Iphone's micro sim into I777 using an adpater.
The adapter holds the micro sim nicely but I get "No SIM" when turning on the phone.
Any suggestions how to fix this ?
Just go to AT&T and ask for a new Sim, its free.
It's not an AT&T sim any more. I'd like to use the micro sim for the I777 if possible.
I use a micro SIM and adaptor, and it works just fine for me. Sounds like you have a bigger issue at hand.

the I777 works great with a regular sim.
The micro sim works great in Iphone.
So why doesn't it work with an adapter ?
Is the micro sim touching the sim slot contact? Have you try just putting the micro sim card in itself, set perfectly to touch the spots that should be touching the sim card? I had a micro sim card that I cut to use with my iPhone 4 and I didn't have an adapter and still worked when put in correctly, touching all the contacts with the sim card.
Try using the micro sim with the adapter in a different phone. You may be using a bad adapter that isn't aligning the micro sim properly.
If the micro sim + adapter don't work in a different phone, I'd look for a micro sim adapter that's better in quality.
Has anyone successfully use a micro SIM with an adapter on their Evo 3D? I read that some phones are not compatible with adapters & may have the contacts damaged if one is used. http://cow.neondragon.net/index.php/iphone-5-nano-sim-cards-questions-answered
No problems here.
I am using a micro sim adapter!

Straight from your website:
Apart from their dimensions and the size of the plastic housing around the metallic contact, Nano SIMs are essentially identical to Micro SIMs and standard SIMs. This should make it possible to use an plastic adapter to convert your Nano SIM into a Micro SIM or Standard SIM.
Like it says, they are all the same thing.
It'll work just fine.
For a free micro sim adapter, order a giffgaff sim below as it comes as a microsim inside a normal sim so you can either use the new sim or use it as a template to cut your old sim to size.
Order from below
I have a nano SIM that I had put in a micro sim holder and have been using. last night I wanted to swap the SIM card and when I pulled the tray out, the NANO SIM card has come out - but the SIM CARD TRAY HOLDER and MICRO SIM HOLDER are struck to something inside and not coming out - I think inner edge of Micro Holder is struck to something. I can push in but cant pull out....
any help how to get it out.

Don’t force it out. you will break the sim pins connector inside phone. It seems the sim adapter hang up with some of the sim pins in the phone.
try to insert thin piece between the adapter and the phone connector. see if it will free the adapter
HI!
I have a problem with a HTC One Max.
it can not read the Sim Card (GSM)
I opened the Sims Card Reader and it seems that there are some Pins Broken.
Did someone of you know how much Pins have to be connected to the Sim Card (O2 Germany)
and may be a Idea to easily repair it
Have a Look:
greetings
May it be possible with some Solder drops and than Tape the Sim on top of it?
Very easy but cheap method!?
I pushed in my nano to micro SIM converter in the slot without the actual SIM in it.
Seems the pins are not angled on both sides since I had a really hard time pulling the converter out. And when I managet to get it out I saw the pings are not even, some were pulled up a bit...
I pushed the SIM after and it works, but it really is an effort to do it. And to get the SIM out I really need a tweezers.
Also the carriage that comes with the tablet is not good anymore for getting the SIM out
Anyone knows how much will it cost me to get it repaired? I still have guarantee for half an year left...
Or atleast if I can find replacement carriage?

look on ebay for spare sim tray, or sim slot.
