Those who have 5.02 and don't want to give up Root, is there a way to get the youtube live broadcast update apk alone from 5.1.1?

I got Vulkano Lava streaming media device like Slingbox and I haven't updated my Verizon LG G3 past Kit Kat because the android app doesn't functions all on Lollipop at least 5.0.2.The developers of the player has stop updating the app.I want to update my device to Marshmallow and I need someone that's already on Marshmallow update to test app to see if works before I update to it.Let me know.
I will need to upload the apk and give name and password if someone is willing to test.
Thanks
I currently purchased one of these. I'm using it with an lg g3 on lollipop

Hey guys, I have a poco f1 with oreo 8.1 and wanted to ask if it's possible to downgrade the google play service to 12.6.85
At the moment it's 14. something and I can manually downgrade it to 12.8, but not lower. Is it possible to downgrade it to 12.6.85 without rooting?

why would you do something as stupid as this, downgrading ? Also, why are you running android 9 ?
because he wants to play Pokemon go with the gps spoof but because the google play services is too much updated he can't do that .....to use spoof gps ,he needs to downgrade google play services and then use fgl pro to move around the world while sitting at home and playing Pokemon go ....man i want to do the same but can't?? i too have pocofone ...
actually because we have android pie and as you have oreo we can't do that because they already come with 14. something in Android pie , to downgrade we need to find a phone with android 6 or 7 then only we can fgl pro gps spoof but still if anybody has a solution please SHARE IT
I have Youtube for Android TV installed on my Android powered screen. Few days ago it stopped working, as when i open it, it shows the "There's a newer version of YouTube available on the Play Store, tab to update". The problem is the version in Play Store is for Android 5 and above, and my version of Android is 4.4.4 and it can't be updated anymore (Unsupported device or something). So is there anyway to keep using currently installed YouTube? or can anyone help modding it so it bypass the update check when it opens?
Thank you all.

no custom roms are available. I have a Samsung galaxy stellar sch-1200.
You can still use browser youtube for the 4.0.3 phone, albeit super slowly because new browser youtube is a fat bloated web 3.0 mess. No hope for the gingerbread phone without a custom rom, oldest version of android that'll work natively with the youtube app is 5.0.2 but 5.0.2 has a horrible memory leak so you should go for 5.1.1 if available. Sad to see kitkat being unable to use youtube even though it was last updated in like 2014, I'll try to see if I can backport a newer version of yt to kitkat 4.4.4 because it's really the newest version of android you'll want to run on a sub 768mb ram 1 core phone
