Big thanks to @ketut.kumajaya on guiding me on how to properly compile Cyanogenmod 13, and also thank beta testers VIZKILL3R for testing out the ROM.
Works as advertised.
However, in addition to the mentioned bugs, these are also of concern:
1. MTP doesn't work via USB when not in recovery mode, most of the time. In recovery mode, it works fine. Plus, when it works while CM is running, the SD card slow has a very long random name.
2. Camera is very laggy. Not just at starting, but taking settings, going back to camera screen - all are laggy.
3. ES File Explorer works (but stops loading folders different from internal and external storage after a while). CM File Manager, and MiXplorer both had issues (CMFM apparently requires elevated privileges, while MiXplorer shows something like what is shown in the screenshot). The stock Android Documents app, works fine.
4. Camera button controls aren't applicable to our device, are they?
5. Loudspeaker output seems to have reduced slightly from the default MIUI ROM.
That's all I could gather in half an hour of testing.
Thanks a lot for your effort to bring the sweetness to Redmi 2 (and variants).
In addition, is there any GApps package that works?

Most file managers don't work because of Marshmallow's new file system. First version, SD Card does not show up at all. I think Cyanogen is working hard on fixing the CMFile bugs. Take pictures from camera is a known bug and it will be patched soon. Loudspeaker cannot be helped since miui had different audio steps compared to stock android. As for MTP, it is set as USB charging by default. So you have to pull down notification bar and change connection type to file transfer.

First of all.. thank you for working on our redmi2..
BUT, you should have asked kumajaya for permission BEFORE opening this thread, this is at least unfair.
You can make builds for your self without asking, but NOT for public usage.
What do you think kumajaya could say now.. "don't do this, close this thread..?? "
You have already spilled the milk, there is no reason to ask for a permission now.
If you wanted to go public.. make something else, like aosp, or omnirom, or... whatever rom that's DIFFERENT than the original work that the original developer did, or is doing..
As far i know kumajaya is working on CM13, and now whats the point for him to publish HIS work, with HIS sources.. when you already did that WITHOUT asking FIRST.
Again, thank you for working on redmi2, im doing something my self too , but im keeping my working sources private because of things like this.
I already made aosp 5.1.1 with kernel 3.10.85 , i just didn't published it on xda
The preferred network type (obtained by *#*#4636#*#*) cannot be changed from WCDMA preferred.
The same thing in Settngs --> Mobile Networks cannot be changed from LTE.

The only reason I open this thread is to let impatient users get their hands on a cm-13.0 build. I have no intentions of plagiarism. This ROM is together build with god kernel r2 cos I am trying to bring in the best of both worlds. If you have any misunderstandings, I am sorry.

I did change it to MTP. The same issue persists.
Waking the phone up after a while causes the phone to become very slow. Sometime it even crawls. Why?
Also, does this ROM have the "necessary patch" (as mentioned here) to install GApps?
Going to try...

SlimGApps causes major issues. Greeted with a "Unfortunately setup wizard has stopped working" message that keeps coming everytime I press "OK". In addition, it causes other crashes for several Google Apps, including Google Play Services.

Both the Zero GApps and the Mini GApps cause the same issue.
(Tried flashing ROM, rebooting, flashing GApps, and flashing ROM and GApps and rebooting.)
Try the mini version and remember to wipe data partition also... It helps

Thanks to everyone who tested these in the last few days. With that said - I did decide to keep the link to the last build I compiled. If a moderator feels this should be taken down I will do so immediately and request the thread closed.

Compiled straight from the PACRom github and no cherry picks for my first build. I may do a few "unofficial" updates until the "Official" nightlies from the DEVs get started.
Please let me know what you think. I've been compiling a few years now with CyanogenMod, AICP, Slim & AOKP but this is my first time sharing with the community.

Not yet. I may cherry pick or add some options on future builds. I will update that in the OP when I do. I haven't found anything wrong with the build yet. It's running pretty solid for the first run.
If you want to have PIE, you can add it here --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330150 I tested it and it is running fine with this build.

CyanogenMod 13 for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 LTEBy Hennymcc and CTXz
CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
Before you start
This ROM is only for the T235 and T235Y
Code:
*
* Your warranty will be voided !
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*
Special Thanks
@hennymcc For his huge effort and contributions on Exynos 3470 related devices
@tyktak For the testing
And of course the entire CyanogenMod team!

Q&A
Q: Will this work on T2XX
A: This build is ONLY for the LTE variant of the 4 inch tab. I have not tried if this rom works on the T235Y (should probably work though). However the LTE version has an Exynos 3470 where else the Wifi version has a Marvell chip (I have some bad experience with that chip *cough* attempt to get CM working on it *cough*). PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO FLASH THIS ON ANY OTHER DEVICE THAN THE T235 OR T235Y.
Q: What about the T230!!!
A: As mentioned in my TWRP thread. Sub77 will send me a T230, and I can give it a shot again to build at least CM11 on it.
Q: How long till <insert issue here> gets fixed
A: ETA's (Short for Estimated Time of Arrival) aren't tolerated that well on XDA. Please remember that this is only a hobby!

Looking forward to run this on my SM-T235. Only if it isn't Monday tomorrow, i would test run this ROM.

I have been looking forward to this ROM for a while and I really appreciate your effort in this. Thank you very much!
Flashed it and deleted the setupwizard.apk as suggested but the CM setup wizard still crashes after pressing skip on "SIM card missing" tab. Any suggestions how to bypass this?
Any possibility for kernel with overclocking CPU and GPU functions for our tab?

Thanks very much indeed for this ROM. It's running good, however i just want to point out 2 really minor things (aside from the RIL stuff).

2. Quick unlock option inside Lockscreen menu

It was created in late 2015 in order to maintain a clean and organized place for pure AOSP support for various OMAP4 devices, such as the Galaxy Nexus and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 series. Over time this evolved to support more than just these devices, but still maintains its roots of supporting "legacy" devices that no longer receive "official" updates: hence Unlegacy Android was born. In our opinion, these ROMs are how the official updates would look.
On top of AOSP, we only include changes which are necessary to support the hardware, be secure, and get acceptable performance. Current features for mako include:
- Linux kernel 3.4.y merged in (currently 3.4.113 - mostly security patches and minor bug fixes)
- BFQ IO scheduler (official kernel 3.4 release), set up so GUI processes have the highest priority
- F2FS support from kernel 4.9 (for /data only! no point of f2fs on /cache)
- SELinux in Enforcing mode
Installation
If you're planning to install GApps, be sure to read the second post!
Aside from that, installation and upgrading is no different than on other ROMs.
Problems
- No known issues for mako yet.
If you notice anything, be sure to report it in this thread. Stability is our main concern. While I'm kind of busy, I usually read the thread and acknowledge the bug reports, even if I don't reply directly to them.
Downloads
See: http://builds.unlegacy-android.org. Our automated builds ensure that we always have the latest Android security patches merged in, without having to manually start and upload builds
We will have a built-in OTA updater (just like stock) soon (it's a work in progress)
Features?
There isn't much to say here - this is AOSP, if you install GApps, you pretty much get the same thing that's running on the Nexus devices (see the second post). The aim of this project is to create a fast and stable ROM - although, one could use Xposed (or similar) to add extra features.
As usual, feedback is appreciated

GApps
If you want to install GApps, we recommend Open GApps Micro.
An important note: as this is a pure AOSP ROM, installing GApps tends to be problematic: in order to try to avoid installation issues, be sure to install GApps immediately after installing the ROM, before booting the system for the first time. If you experience any issues with the Google applications, be sure to go into Settings -> Apps, and grant every permission to every Google application - most importantly, Google Play services.
In the case of an upgrade, be sure to re-install the GApps package, as upgrading wipes /system. You shouldn't need to re-set the permissions afterwards.
Stock-like setup
Disable the following built-in (AOSP) apps:
- Android keyboard (once you installed Gboard)
- Browser
- Calculator
- Camera
- Clock
- Email
- Gallery
Install the following apps from the Play store:
- Google Photos (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.photos)
- Calculator (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.calculator)
- Chrome (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.android.chrome)
- Clock (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.deskclock)
- Gboard (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.inputmethod.latin)
- Gmail (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.gm)
- Google Calendar (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.calendar)
- Google Camera (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.GoogleCamera)
SafetyNet
The ROM should pass SafetyNet after installing GApps, without anything else. Keep in mind that installing extra stuff (SU, ...) might make it fail!
Rooting
You can flash the latest Magisk to get rooted.
Just a little note on this, I've been testing his build and it's been really smooth so far. (Even more than my own AOSP build) Also for other ROM's devs out there, he's the original dev who fixed the sensors and he also fixed the camera without relying on AOSP hacks. (Well except SELinux but that's another thing...) You can check out the source for more info about it.
Because I didn't have much time to work on it, I want to thank @Ziyan for his work on this. I could even say that eventual people who are currently on the AOSP build should go on this one moving forward.
From 1 February I check ROM periodically. For now ROM is not for me. It is too raw.
There are no navigation buttons for me and I can not disable them if I want to use Button Savior, for example. ROM does not see WiFi 5GHz.
However, I am pleased that there's a thread on XDA.
Forgive me if it has already been posted in the gapps thread, but is open gapps working for 7.1.2 builds? Last I checked, it was reported that setupwizard crashes on 7.1.2 due to being outdated. Thx!

That's right.
The ROM immediately shows 2 GHZ interfaces.
Within 12 seconds after the WiFi is switched on, 5 GHz interfaces are also displayed.
I was impatient.
If I dirty flash from 7.1.1 to 7.1.2 this ROM will be work without any issues?
I did a clean flash wiped everything but internal storage
I lose root frequently on this ROM and other nougat ROMs I'm using multirom twrp and multirom and hellspawn aosp nougat kernel revision 5
This ROM was installed in the primary slot of multirom
I used super su 2.79 and also tried magisk v12 neither worked
I used a 7.1.2 build with only flashing ROM and modifications : v4a an adreno driver and hellspawn kernel then booting
Then reboot to recovery and install open gapps pico 7.1
What am I doing wrong ?
Is multirom the culprit ?

Hello!
I was able to install the GAPPs:
1) flash rom
2) turn on the N4
3) flash gapps
4) superSU flash (optional)
That way I did not use the setup wizard, I just added my Google account to the Play Store.

Soon! our Nexus 5 maintainer (I don't have a Nexus 5, 4 is still my daily driver) just fixed a camera bug, according to him, only some selinux fixes are remaining until the thread can be opened
Hi again, loving the rom so far and thx very much for keeping the n4 alive! I understand the rom will not have any custom rom features since it's strictly AOSP, but I wonder if it might be possible to include ambient display? It is too useful for the screen to automatically turn on without having to press power button which many n4 owners probably have problems with, and to see notifications in a dimmer black and white screen that is unobtrusive which can return to full brightness and colour with a touch of the screen.
Thx again and very grateful for your work for the n4 community!
Thanks for your hard work and this great and very stable ROM @Ziyan :good:

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 12 (S), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
Base source code is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to the project, please visit our Gerrit Code Review.

my god I can't believe that today 02/17/2022 my harpia is running android 12 (S) I swear to God that today I was looking at the forum and I found this I was speechless just today I had done a review of Lineage OS (11) sincerely, you deserve a lot of recognition for continuing to do this and continue to maintain a cell phone that is years old, it is my daily phone now that I found out about this, I did not sit idly by and flash it, I congratulate you, it is a rom very stable and fast, I want to comment on something and it is that with android 11 it took me 2 minutes to start the launcher, here it only takes me 17-18 seconds to start the system I can tell you that this system can become the most stable and quickly for this mobile I will continue waiting for more updates of this version of android and thank you very much for allowing me to continue using my cell phone I have had the opportunity to obtain high-end cell phones but I love my harpia and as a friend told me If something works well for you, don't change it for anything. thankful to all the maintainers who work hard to get updates out.
I want to say that I have only had a small mistake and it is that when I lower the notification bar the cell phone becomes very slow and it takes a few seconds to lower it, I hope they correct the rest, it is perfectly fine, thank you very much! for everything soon a review for this rom so that more people see and appreciate your work.
Booting and installing the image works like a charm and pretty easy.

Can anyone recommend gapps for arm and LOS 19.0?

is monet already working in this version?
I just installed this ROM twice on my harpy, first impression I found quite fluid even for this model. Then when lowering the notification bar the system would slow down too slow and bug, then give interface error dai or the screen would go dark and erase, after that it gave bootloop. Despite this it seems to be a good ROM hopefully improve this so I can use. Monet's not working.

Hello dear @althafvly. First of all, thank you very much for this awesome ROM based on Android 12L (LineageOS 19.1).
It's very stable, fast and battery-friendly. Please dear friend, continue improving this ROM. I really hope the Encryption, SELinux enforcing and UI Lag can be fixed.
One week ago, I had AICP ROM (Android 11) ( @jeferson1979 ), and It is a very stable ROM, but it has two big problems: It's kinda slow and everytime I try to install an weekly update, the whole system is damaged. I really don't know why this happen. I only boot to Recovery and flash the updated ROM, after that I cannot boot.
Tired of that, I tried this Android 12 ROM and wow it's amazing.
Please althafvly, can you add the Security Features that Disable the Quick Settings (Notification Bar) and Disable the Power Menu from Lockscreen???
Thanks again both developers.
Wait....
Testing on my XT1607. I'm getting "System UI isn't responding" once the pulldown menu finally loads (very laggy). One idea is this could be happening whenever the camera & flashlight options aren't working? When the camera and flashlight started working after a few reboots, the pulldown menu stopped being laggy.
The ability to connect to a Wi-Fi hidden SSID has now become fully broken in harpia with 19.1. For some reason, the initial setup wizard *can* connect to a hidden SSID, but, after that, if you ever disconnect from it, you can't connect to it ever again, nor can you ever add it fresh and connect to it. This is further deterioration of the following bug: https://gitlab.com/LineageOS/issues/android/-/issues/2678
Btw, I was able to get data and SMS to work, but not calling, for whatever reason.

INSTALLATION
Before first install: flash and boot into the TWRP provided in this thread, format data, reboot to recovery and wipe all internal partitions, then flash the ROM, GApps and root (if needed).
Note: There is not going to be a LOS su addon anymore. If you need root, flash a root manager of your choice. No guaranteed support from LOS for this.
When updating from previous builds, simply dirty flash the ROM is enough, decryption in new TWRP works now
Recommended GApps: MindTheGapps provided in this thread.
KNOWN ISSUES
Stock camera is not working anymore due to incompatibility of stock library (libimageprocessorjni.so) with new libgui
Currently, LOS isn't feature complete yet, so some things, buttonn, advanced menù etc. may be still missing
You tell me...

Rom Information
ROM OS Version: Android 13
ROM Kernel: Linux 4.4
Version Information
Status: Stable
Current Stable Version: 1.2
Stable Release Date: 2023-05-06
ALL CREDITS TO DERF ELOT AND THE OTHER DEVS BEHIND THE ROM, I'M ONLY POSTING IT.
---------------------------------------
Changelogs:
v1.2 (2023-05-10):
- Updated to T QPR2 release (LineageOS upstream)
- Updated to May 2023 Security updates (both ROM and kernel)
- Our kernel now includes updates by CIP and is up-to-date with tag st40 - thanks also to Flamefire for help with some of these (1)
- Reduced zram size to 25% (1gb) of out total RAM to have more to use freely
- Updated BT stuff for QPR2 (maybe offloading is working again? needs confirmation)
- Added the option to reflash the mbn via OpenCS (see Xperia Parts) - thanks also to shank03 & Flamefire (2)
- Fully enabled IMS on Congstar Germany via overlay on lilac
- Possibly some battery/performance optimizations here and there
- Fixed Android Auto support
- Added new LineageOS "Charging control hal" for battery charging care (3)
- Maybe more I forgot...
(1) The CIP kernel includes fixes for issues and security vulnerabilities from 4.14 kernel (see https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/cip/linux-cip.git)
(2) A somehwat lengthy explanation: This option is off by default on fresh installs. When upgrading, this should be enabled because we enforced this for everybody previously. However, this option is only required for certain carrier mbns that enable IMS. Personally, I know that the O2/Telefonica Germany mbn needs this, otherwise you get a crashing modem at every boot (unless you switch to 3g before rebooting and back to LTE after boot). I generally recommend playing with this option, and if you don't need it (e.g. modem doesn't crash on boot), just keep it off - like mentioned before, this is now the default behavior of OpenCS on fresh installs anyway.
(3) This is not finalized or merged upstream is LineageOS yet, but seems like a nice feature to have and test drive already. Some bugs may be possible.
v1.1 (2023-01-08):
Updated to T QPR1 release (LineageOS upstream)
New default camera app (LineageOS upstream) - yes, we cannot change video fps currently (thanks Sony!)
Any other updates by LineageOS upstream
Kernel security updates (also thanks to Flamefire)
Dropped keyprovd service - it is useless on unlocked BL anyway
Show 4G instead of LTE icon - saves some space too
Enable IMS by default - this still only works if carrier is supported
Fix some selinux denials (also thanks to Flamefire)
Fixup ViLTE dependencies - this might in theory work again, but it's not enabled yet
v1.0 (2022-10-02):
Initial release
Can’t wait to try it !!! Thanks tux
Can i flash this using old twrp version like 3.6.2 - 9?
The rom is great but every time the device reboots and finishes the boot animation it repeats one more time boot animation.
According to the picture, I can't scroll down as usual, can only use those 4 buttons @@ until rebooting (I had landscape rotation to watch youtube then rotate the screen again when the video ends and it's like that
).
rarely but the sound doesn't play even if i keep the volume high or switch to listening to music or watching youtube until the device is restarted
(sorry if I said wrong or wrong grammar, I'm not very good at English. )

By default android protect (encrypt) your internal memory. TWRP lacked decryption for a long time, now its supported. This means, with new recovery, you can see and manage your internal memory via TWRP using your lockscreen password. Before, you simply can't.
The fingerprint sensor doesn't work, auto brightness is also not working, does anyone know how to fix it

This is a very good ROM. Good for daily use. Didn't encounter any problem. Can't wait for the Pixel Experience Android 13.

I guess you have some missing files or something like that. Try reflashing stock rom and persist.img, something wrong with your files.
Maybe this is a dumb question, but what is the difference between the twrp provided here and the 'stock' twrp from twrp.me? Will both work?
Nice room
great work

Both works but this one should be able to decrypt internal memory. No idea if the one from twrp.me does the same or if its the same file.

Okay i see, thank you! I updated to your version of twrp and dirty flashed the rom from 19.x to this version, worked great, even with apps and so on!
Also thanks for the ROM!
Hi there,
I'm a complete noob on XDA, but I just flashed this TWRP (twrp-3.6.2_12-0-20221002-poplar) over another TWRP (twrp-3.7.0_9-0-poplar) and now, when entering recovery mode I get stuck in loading screen of teamwin Recovery Project 3.6..2_12-0
I can get out of loading screen by pressing all buttons, and device turns off.
I rebooted into fastboot and flashed back the 3..7 TWRP and now things are back to normal.
Any sugestions on what I can do to install this TWRP?

So, I was able to install lineage-20.0-20221002-UNOFFICIAL-1.0-poplar.zip from this post using TWRP 3.6..2_12-0, without problems.
Did not try to flash twrp-3.7.0_9-0-poplar again.
Is there a thread with future requests? I would like the default browser not to default to google, as the whole point for me is to de-google my phone.
Hi, so I've been absent from Custom Roms for the last couple years - since I got my XZ1 and the DRM key extraction was too much of a hassle for me as I didn't miss much from the stock rom.
Since I got some spare time over the years I was thinking to finally tackle that topic, but I have two questions:
1) The opening post says this

Stock camera is not working anymore due to incompatibility of stock library (libimageprocessorjni.so) with new libgui

is it even still relevant for me to back up my DRM keys / back up the TA partition if I don't want to go back to stock? what camera are you using then? is the quality comparable? is slow motion still possible?
2)
i know that in the past, safety net checks were just looking for bootloader / root, but they changed to checking if the ROM is signed with a proper signingkey, right? is this rom signed with a non-test-key?
I've got a couple of banking apps on my phone and it would obviously prevent it from being a daily driver if they were not supported anymore :/
Thanks in advance!
New LOS Update 1.1 is here! Enjoy!

By default the browser isn't Google Chrome afaik, so i don't see the problem. Also, tbh, this makes no sense considering Android=Google. Chromium is builded inside the ROM,is part of the ROM,so once you install Android, you are installing something from Google. So i don't get it.
If you don't install gapps, then you don't have Chrome as default browser. Otherwise, flash gapps and remove Chrome.
