I've been using the LG G Watch for a while now and I'm really loving it. However, I noticed that the music controls don't seem to work properly.
When I play a track on my Nexus 5 via Google Play, the artwork and title appear on the watch face, but pausing / playing don't work and I can't skip or go back a track, either.
As far as I can see I'm using the latest version of the Google Play Music APK and the watch is running the latest firmware. I've also tried resetting the watch and re-syncing the apps on it.
Another thing to note is that I'm running the Android L Developer Preview - not sure if that makes any difference.
Has anyone else had this issue?

Glad I'm not the only one getting this. Google Music updated today, but the issue is still there.
Same issue here on Google Music, Pocket Casts, and Player.FM - kinda annoying!
Same here, went back to 4.4.4 as many apps were having this problem (Google Music, Google Movies, Youtube)
Same issue for the Samsung Gear Live with Nexus 5 L preview.
Same issue here, works on HTC one m8, but not on nexus 5 and 7 running L. I assume its a problem with the way L handles music controls in notifications.
Happens to me with Spotify, the notification shows up but the play/pause control doesn't work. Using a Gear Live with a Nexus 4 running CM 10.2.1 (Android 4.3). However, Spotify works perfectly for a friend using a GS4 running KitKat connected to a LG G watch.
Got mine today, running Android L preview also and having the same issue. Anyone know of a fix/update on its way perhaps?
I do know that persistent/non-cancelable notifications are not mirrored to Wear for ANY app. That's usually the type of notification used to show playback controls, but it doesn't explain why the apps that have been updated don't seem to work correctly.
I also had this problem with L installed. I've since reflashed the stock 4.4.4 image, and they work fine.
Can anyone confirm whether this issue has been fixed in L yet?
It's one of the only things keeping me from using L on my everyday phone.

It will be fixed in the full release. But the dev preview won't be updated.
I thought I was the only one. So we have to wait for the Android L official release, hopefully it won't be to long
Same for me
I have the exact same issue with my Nexus 5 and Android L preview build LPV81C. Hoping it get fixed before full release. Fingers crossed ...
I have the same problem with my G Watch and Nexus 4 (running stock 4.4.4).
Anyone found a solution?
Edit:
Not a problem anymore, it was caused by an app for controlling my headset... -_-
I have the same problem with stock Nexus5 and Samsung Gear Live
I have the notification on gear of some song and when i try to "open on phone" none happens. If i try to play nothing happens again
BUT, if i open an music app (like Google music) and tap play on wear, then spotify (and this is strange) starts to play (a song different from that reported by wear notification).
This don't happens until i don't start an music app (seem that when i start a music app something will be initialized).
I also think that the notification on wear is something of old that has been stored by wear but not updated (probably after a spotify update).
Hey guys, try Wear Music Controller in the Play Store. It should control all your music players for you!
I have the same issue with you.
same here
Recently got my moto 360, doesnt work as well. Safe to say its the L preview bug.. But so disappointing

Thanks man works great.:good:
Hi, today i tried a 360 video but it didn't work. I thought that mayby my phone doesn't have a gyroscope sensor, but i tested it and it's working fine. I want to ask you: Why isn't 360 view working for me? I have a huawei ascend p6.
The same is happening to me, it use to work ok, but I had to downgrade my Moto X 2014 to kitkat, and now youtube 360 videos doen't work anymore.
It supposed to work on kitkat too isn't it?
Is possible use de default Watch Face of Moto 360 Sport in a new Moto 360 2 gen?
I dont think. Maybe using a third part face .

I factory reset my 360 2nd gen a few weeks ago and when it booted back up and finished updating the apps, I had the sport watch face for a few seconds. It was weird but I even set it as my active watch face before it disappeared. I've had to reset my watch a few more times (do to flashing ROMs on my Nexus 6) since then and I've never seen it again.
Hello,
anybody find an app that can do the 360 photos on the S9+?
The google app is gone from the play store, the samsung app store will not load, and when I load the surround apk it isn't found in the camera.
really bumming me out, I love 360 photo.

The 'Photo sphere' feature of google camera offers exactly the same functionality. But you'll have to install using the modified APK from the link above, since it is not available from the play store on the S9.
I've complained about the missing camera feature at SamSung support. But they were unable to tell me if, and when to expect it to appear on the S9 (Plus). :-[
Ok, so i bought realme 6 on 10th august 2020 and its been a perfect phone and i love it. The only problem i have faced is VR not working in the facebook app. 3d images and 360 videos are viewable but i have to drag my finger to view it, gyroscope seem not to work there. I have tried YouTube 360 videos and they work fine and google 360 photos work fine, google measure app works fine. Gyroscope in Pubg works fine so dont know why its not working in facebook app.
Things i have tried:-
Uninstalling and reinstalling FACEBOOK app more than 5 times.
Restarting phone for couple of times.
Factory reset my device one time.
Checked all the components in the phone manager app. Every sensor is normal and working.
Please help if anyone know any fix.
Sorry for my bad english.
