Hello All,
I am trying to learn how to compile and install the ROM developed by Decatf for Galaxy Tab 10.1 (GT-P7510).
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...android-5-0-0-lollipop-lrx21m-p4wifi-t2938870
The question i have is, that i have done a make, and it looks like it compiled. But i am not sure how to flash it to my tablet. I didn't see a zip file to flash.
Will i have to use fastboot?
Thanks

i have the exact same tablet i need some instructions on how to find custom ROM's for it
According to my search, there is currently no CWM or CyanogenMod for your device.
Generally, devs don't buy less popular device and hence, they remain unpopular. Another reason is they don't provide sources, so even if devs have not bought them, some other user can't make it also.
install cm on intenso tab 714
hi people

hi
i have a samsung galaxy fame (gt-s6810) and i want to install android kitkat 4.4 on my device.
i pretend to create a kernel from the sources code of my device.
Then, my idea, is to replace the kernel from the nexus 5 factory image, for the kernel i will create.
from this way, when I install the android factory rom, will be compatible with the hardware of my device.
is this possible or it won't work?
If possible, could anyone please post a tutorial to integrate the created kernel to the factory image?

Hello everyone, I've been wanting to build the CM13.0 for my Lenovo K3 note, maybe even the CM12.1 too. But I have a specific doubt which I know I shouldn't have before I proceed any further into learning about ROM development, so I'm asking all of you, please do answer.
The Lenovo K3 Note source code is made public by Lenovo, say if I were to download that and if I use that kernel, will I be able to successfully compile CM13.0 and boot?
I think that will work with the CM12.1 version as the Stock ROM and 12.1 are both Lollipop versions. So my question basically is, will the Lollipop Kernel(provided by Lenovo) work with a Marshmallow ROM(if I am to build one)?
It would be great if you could please elaborate your answers as I'm looking to learn and not just get done with one thing and get caught with another. Thanks for taking time.
Cheers!
Hey guys,
as said in the title i can not install the AOSP Custom roms on my GT-P7500. Android 7.1.2 and 6.0.1 are giving me the same Error: 7 when i try to flash it with TWRP! It also says i'm using a rom for "p4" and i would have a "p4tmo" which is definately not true.
I was able to install the AOSP Android 5 but it's really buggy and since others had no problems with the 7.1.2 i'd love to get this running. There was a hint to try an older TWRP version but i couldn't find another version than the 3.1 for this device.
If anyone has an idea what could help i'd appreciate it a lot!
Thanks peeps
Edit: I installed CM 10.1 now and at first this rom gave me the very same error. After editing the update-script file in the rom i was able to install it though. This modification does not work in the AOSP roms.. any idea on that?
