screen protector ?

ok i fudged my htc supplied screen protector, i dont know how but it managed to stick to my cleaning cloth, anyway i have it on there as a temp measure, till i can get a new one.
looking at this:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CP-SCREEN-PRO...ms=66:2|65:1|39:1|240:1318|301:1|293:2|294:50
1. has anyone tried this type before,
2. is it worth the £7,
the coloured screen is just to show the fitment the actual product is clear.
Why screen protector ?
In past I used screen protector. When I did take off it, then I was very surprised how much screen protector degrades quality of screen at my Touch HD. I bought Touch HD for his briliant screen. Please don't use screen protector it is not necessary, especially if you use fingers only and not stylus. After 3 months usage w/o screen protector I can say that touch's screen is enough resistant for daily use.
I got my clearprotector today. i bought the full body protector and just applied it.
Result: I tore the body protector off right away....cant do this to my blackstone...everywhere you look you see where one protector ends and the other starts etc...nothing for me, as i like the original look of the blackstone ;-)
but as you just asked about the screenprotector, I have to say it's really nice and definitely worth the money. Its very clear and very accurate, not like the original one from htc. the only thing you have to get used to is that sliding on the screen with your finger is a bit more difficult since the protector is a bit sticky due to its rubber surface.
All in all, I cant recommend the body protector, but the screen protector is the best i saw up to now.

Does The OtterBox Defender Case Have/Cause Unresponsive Touches?

So, I got the OtterBox Defender case for the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, and I feel like the built-in screen protector isn't as responsive as with other screen protectors I have used.
Is this the case, or is there something wrong with my screen?
I find that I have to press multiple times for my touches to register.
With the otterbox cases I've had in the past, I've just pulled off the included plastic protector and added my own.
Do their plastic protectors have this issue?
It's only when I press, not swipe.
You may notice, that the installed plastic protector may leave a gap between it and the screen, this is usually what causes it to be less responsive.
While they are well engineered, sometimes manufacturing processes and tolerances of both the case and device vary, so you might be able to feel the first touch of the plastic protector, then pressing harder feel it make contact with the screen and feel that gap. Usually its just a matter of not pressing hard enough because (at least for myself) you stop the press when you feel the first protector, and aren't making full contact with the screen.
My two cents is to remove the plastic protector (glued on) and install a film type one. Warranty be damned.
Ah, yes, that could totally be the case.

Screen protectors and cases; whatcha got?

Before I order something random from Amazon, I thought I would ask what everyone is using and what you think of it. The only post I found in any of the other threads was someone with a tempered glass screen protector who wasn't happy with the fit.

well, I have a tempered glass screen protector on it, and I am very happy with it. It is a 100 times beter than any other plastic screenprotector, as it will not scratch easily.

Well... for a screen protector, I found this:
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/NILL...ctor-Film-For-Lenovo-K3-NOTE/32319213616.html
I gave it a chance, even thought I was like "meh, Chinese junk maybe", but today after 4 months, it looks the same! BEST screen protector I ever had.
iPaky case (Gold)
iPaky case from amazon.in
Using this, http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free..._78_77_80,searchweb201644_0,searchweb201560_9

This case is good but bumper is of plastic which is delicated.
I have tried every thing out there and ended up with everything Nillkin, case and screen
I have the black/gold Ipaky case and a tempered glass screen protector. I like them both.
Does anyone know of a desktop battery charger to charge a spare battery out of the phone?

I also have an iPaky case bought from ali express. (Black version in my case)
Build quality is good an the case stays higher than the screen protecting it from falls.
The back is super grippy with a nice pattern.
For a screen protector i use a tempered glass one which is stronger than a normal plastic screen protector and doesn't leave bubbles after being applied. It costs a bit more than ordinary screen protectors but you can get one for as low as 1€ from Aliexpress.
I own two cases, one is a simple one with a transparent black color while the other one has an Audi sportscar drawn on it.
So here is what I got:
Aksberry tempered glass screen protector
Pros:
good fit
Tempered glass does seem very hard
rounded edges don't catch on things (like pockets)
Cons:
seems to reduce sensitivity of touch screen
mine has a flaw that has created a bubble under it. It is on the lower edge, so it doesn't affect its operation, just an annoyance to look at.
Nillkin case
Pros:
good fit
edge extends above screen (and screen protector)
extends above buttons. This also helps prevent accidental button presses (am I the only person who thinks that power button is in exactly the wrong spot?)
Cons:
haven't noticed any
Currently using the iPaky case with the silver frame. I love it. The iPaky cases are one of the best out there. I have also a leather flip cover, it's nice but I don't use it much for whatever reason.
did anyone notice the screen protector sensor hole is on the wrong side?
left which has nothing on it, right is where the sensor is.
damn....
Hi,
My Lenovo glass had broken many times & now it gives problem of sensing. Where should I get to change the glass & how much it cost?
I use a tempered glass protector with a skin I ordered from skins4gadgets. The skin is good enough for my usage.

A screen protector that will match my spigen case - S8

Hi
I have this case :
https://www.spigen.com/products/galaxy-s8-case-crystal-shell
I tried both Samsung original plastic screen protector:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQKnJsETNYQ
And the olixar case friendly glass screen protector.
Both suck. Either the touch is bad either the case lifts it up.
Can anyone recommend me a screen protector that will get a long with my case? or any combination of screen protector and a case that will work together?
No glue / wet apply please. Only conventional stuff
Thanks
From what I have seen the gpel case friendly screen protectors seem to be about the best option.
They come in clear or black edges I hear the clear shows dirt build up around the edges
Do you mean this one
https://www.amazon.com/Protector-Friendly-Tempered-Satisfaction-Guarantee/dp/B06XWMZG5N
Cause it's rating is pretty poor
Whitestone dome?
How badly does it affect the touch?

Not at all... Touchscreen works perfectly. And works with lots of cases https://youtu.be/sScL3ZyGTgI
It only takes some time to install it correctly, you can't rush it and expect great results.
But you better check some install videos, and the topics here on xda. Since this is glued to the screen, not just a strip on the edges, this feels as good as the naked screen and no dust can get beneath
I prefer something without glue/ liquids..
Whats the best dry apply option on the market?
It's wet apply, but I've had no issues with this one besides it taking a little extra time to adhere to the curved edges. it's been perfect on my case (not the same one) and looks good as well. Lifetime warranty too. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072B8MLF3/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Olixar screen protector

Thought I would share my experience with this; it's a royal pain to install properly (especially after installing the oem bumper case). BUT, it adds the grip the phone needs in folded mode for one hand use. I just installed it over the screen protector that comes with the phone.

how hard is it to take off the olixar screen protector and not damage the factory screen protector or screen? thanks
Pretty sure the factory screen protector will peel along with it.
