A bit too experimental for me but I'm thankful for your efforts in bringing CM13 to lux!
Let me test it for you I will provide log
Thanks!
Thank you so much for your effort!!!
I will test it with my dual sim XT1563 and I will give you my report.
Again, thank you SO much.
GApps
A bit more testing I've been doing seems to indicate that GApps are causing most of the instability. The GPS also seems to work fine when GApps are nor installed. So for now, I'd recommend not installing GApps, or looking for a more stable alternative to OpenGApps.
Oh man, am I ever happy that squid2 develops for lux! THANK YOU! I'll try it out over the weekend and provide logs and feedback
SD Card not working for me. Keeps saying unsupported. Don't want to lose my info, so unsure which option to choose. Otherwise running good. Going to try flashing Banks Dynamic Gapps 6.x.x. Been using that on my victara and n9, so hopefully won't run into errors on Lux.
That was a clean flash as well
Dual sim not working.Sim not recognized
THANKS YOU SO MUCH, i try this now and give my report, keep working pls, you're awesome

I got that option, just wasn't sure if selecting either would cause issue. What did you choose, and did it wipe your card?

What is the current filesystem type of your SD Card? It might be expecting FAT32 for that option. At least for FAT32 it doesn't ask you to format.

I'm guessing not fat32, lol. I haven't changed anything from when I first put the card in the device, and I've been using it just fine with your previous builds.
Actually, it's probably NTFS, since it's a 64gig card. Bummer. I'll just deal without using sdcard until you get an update out, since fat can't do higher than 32. Is there anyway you can make it so that the ROM isn't only looking for fat32? Or is this a MM limitation
i prefer this gapps dynamic package:

See from the feedback here, is 64G version of the support!
Hey op, I think the reason for him asking was that some people have reported flashing ColorOS (Not sure on the source) but then their memory getting reduced down to 16gb on a 64gb device.
I'm not a noob by no means, but I was wondering what the setup process was for this rom, whether different from other roms. Also can you cover returning from to CM in that process. Thanks.
I tried 4 other versions of the COS Rom from version 1.2 to 2.0.4 beta on my China 64gb but seems like my phone either goes on a boot loop or if it does boot, it freezes, there no signal and Wi-Fi does not turn on. Can anybody help with this as I want to try COS on the OPO

This is the only rom for coloros that didn't wreck my phone. The other version of coloros reverted my phone to a 16gb version, took a few mins to fix it. This version flashed very nice and works well.

Thanks for the confirmation.
I'm trying to flash the beta to test. After much trying, i managed to flash version 1.2 via TWRP but i had to wipe even the system in order for it to work smoothly. I guess version 1.2 is the most stable and the latest version available.

I always wipe everything other than internal storage before I flash new roms. Just make sure to do a backup before to switch just to be safe.

Crap.....now my bootloader is locked by Color OS.....using command "fastboot oem unlock" does not unlock the bootloader anymore.

Awesome project, new product but has alot custom Rom
**Reserved**
Boots up.
CR droid boot animation is sick! Loved it.
Of course as title says it's in alpha "testing" so constant system UI crashes upto the point where the screen completely goes black.
One thing I liked about this build was the resolution looks good UI and stuff (got all this just by looking the pre Google setup screen) All the other ROMs I tested has bad resolution and the screen is just not satisfying but not in this rom!
Waiting for stable build. Like.

You need to format data before you flash a new rom to remove encryption (as this rom doesn't support encryption as selinux is permissive)
Format is different from advanced wipe - select the option on the right in twrp wipe menu
Backup anything on internal storage first
Alternatively in fastboot mode type
fastboot erase userdata
Thanks. It worked formatting the device.

Thanks. I'm currently on RROS which us based on 12.0.3 so I'll probably have to fastboot flash 12.0.4 first. I don't need to factory reset from a freshly flashed 12.0.4, right? I'll test this out pretty soon.

It's probably recommended to format data after flashing this since it's based on Android 11 and you are flashing it over MIUI 12.0.4 which is MIUI and based on Android 10.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
If you format data before flashing the custom rom, make sure you have a spare microsd. Otherwise you very likely won't be able to access internal storage from a computer to transfer the rom files...
Anyway, I'm guessing this still has the 5Ghz Wifi bug, right?
