My phone is not rooted. I have S6 Edge running on 5.1.1
I have checked running apps on smart manager and end them but again many apps automatically open after sometime.
Is there no App to detect malware?

Remove every shady app you downloaded from Store and be careful next time you install stuff on your phone.
Usually games tend to show ads like that everywhere.
Source: dozens of Android phones that had those apps whose parents gave their kids to install games on.

There is...
Install All-In-One Toolbox from play store then from within the app (or again from play store) install the Ad Detect plugin. It will scan every app on your device and report their capacity to display ads, by what means, and from what source. From this info, it's easy to decide what apps to delete. :good:

[Q] Remove app from Android Market 'My Library'

So I use the Amazon app store and GetJar for free 'paid' apps. Some of these apps are showing up in "My Library" on my Google Android Market account. Is there a way to remove them from the Android Market account?
One recent problem is Wave Launcher which used to be free on GetJar. I don't see it listed anymore on GetJar and I can't even buy it from the Android Market since it thinks it's already purchased (but declines the 'install' saying it's not purchased). A 'delete' button like in the Amazon app store library would solve all of this...
Short of changing google accounts, I don't see any options on how to fix this. Anyone have any ideas? The problem is on my market library, not my phone (I know how to remove market links, etc.). Thanks.
I to have this problem its very annoying their has to be a way to clean it up.
I actually used the 'report' app function on the google market and got a reply back. They have "forwarded your case to a specialist to begin working to resolve your issue as soon as possible". We'll see what comes of it. Amazon's app store has a simple delete button in that library. It doesn't seem like that would be too hard to implement.
did you ever get a reply for this?
would love to be able to remove all the apps i just simply try for the sake of testing and i want them gone.....
listen to your users G!
I believe Titanium Backup can do this if you are rooted.

You can "fix" market links with it by long pressing on the app in question.

On the website I don't see an option, but it is possible on your phone.
I am not sure if all versions of the play store have this option (I am using Jelly Bean 4.1.2):
When I open the play store on my phone I can remove previous installed apps from the list.
Go to: Play Store > My Apps > All
There you can remove an app by tapping the Ø icon

Yeahp. It works.
I deleted some yesterday on my mobile, but they were still on my web "Other apps in my library".
Today, I deleted some again and reloaded the webpage. They disappeared.
Thanks for the tip.
Ok, maybe it needs some time to sync. Great it works!

I have this issue as well--phone app has no provision for deleting the apps, on JB ROM.

What is this?

Does anybody know what this is?i always get it when i turn the internet connection on.

that does not look good. maybe you got yourself a virus there.
you should check your installed apps for suspicious / fake ones. also have a look at the app list in titanium backup, which will also show apps, that do not show up in the app drawer.
but in general, if i were you, i would fully wipe the device, including the internal and external sd card, flash your rom again and instead of restoring apps from a backup, let them re-install from the play store (only safe ones of course).
maybe someone that can read chinese can tell you the exact contents of that notification, but i am 97% sure that it is not something good and your personal data and privacy might be at stake.
you havent at any time installed hotmail app of google play have you??
I had similar thing happen, in chinese, and after debugging the system i narrowed it down to the hotmail app, i was getting like 40 or 50 empty mssge boxes a day, once i uninstalled it, it stopped.
From the screenshot, that is advertisement in Chinese language.
I would recommended you to recall the last application that you have install to the phone, remove it and see did it help?
At the same time, both applicationa that can be found in Google Play may help to prevent similar issue happened in future. ^^

Easy Uninstaller

Good thing you've solved the problem.
I assume you were receiving Airpush ads; and to prevent this happening in the future, and also for others who come across these, I recommend Addons Detector from the Play Market. It finds the culprit app.

[Q] Services required to make In-App Purchase?

Hello,
Since last few days I have been experimenting with Freezing Bloatware on my Galaxy S5. And I do not remember what service/ app I frozen caused me to unable to make in-app purchase.
I have tried to make in-App purchase in multiple apps/ games but no luck. What actually Happens is that Apps cannot connect to Google Play store. Some apps show error that I am "Not Signed into Google Play Store". While other apps keep loading when I try to make inapp purchase in them. For Example; Temple run. I run the game, click on store (get more coins) The Store of Templerun will take forever to load. so It seems like apps are not able to connect to google play store. However, I can install apps from Play store and Update older apps like normal.
I have created an example video of the problem:
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
A video doesn't do anyone any good. I would go back and unfreeze everything and then try one by one. Or pull a log cat and see what the issue is.

Can I disable installing apps from outside of the phone?

Hi.
I am using applocker to lock google play so that you can't access google play without a password. However if I go on google play on the computer and click install from there the app still gets installed. How can I disable that so apps can't get installed from the computer either?
There really isn't. The best advise is not to give it to someone you can't trust. Because all it takes is 5 min and who ever it is will be able to install any app they want without even using the playstore
That's a bummer. I guess there's really not a way to make android kid friendly

Depending on the kid no, not really. As all it takes is 7 taps to open an option to install apps outside the playstore. I learned that Ling ago when I gave my boys their first one. I tried locking them down and did to a point but it took extreme measures like monitoring my home network traffic.
We can only protect them so much.

App locker only ask password for open play store app. locker can not restrict background operations of your play store. You can use inbuilt feature of parental control and set pin to install apps. It may stop installing apps from your computer.

My phone starts downloading an app which is named 'Google Play' but is not the actual google play

My phone starts downloading an app which is named 'Google Play' when I press it's dialogue for a second it shows 'Download Manager' as the app which is downloading it. But I don't have any download manager on my phone.
It seems fishy, something isn't right with the app, it's probably a malware. Please help!
I've attached the screenshots.
In Android OS the Download Manager is a default system service.

yeah but why does it download google play daily? why would it need to download it daily? it's bizarre!
Scan with Malwarebytes.
If you can't find the root cause I would factory reset, if running on Pie or higher that will purge any malware from the system. Be careful then what you install/load/download!
It not worth the risk, malware needs to be dealt asap meaning the day it's noticed. It keeps more unwanted guests from potentially coming in and minimizes the damage. Reset all passwords after the reload.

I scan daily with malwarebytes though it shows 'no malware found'. Do you think it really is problematic, could it not be something else?

It's probably harmless. Google Play is the same as Playstore? Different branding I think.
Playstore is a pain, I keep it disabled most of the time.
