I just installed Hybrid rom v2 for Redmi Note 2 by Jo-San
After installing, I can notice that there is only Dolby Atmos as a functioning audio FX
I tried to install Viper4Android but no use. First, no audio fx other than Dolby would work. Second, it seems that V4A detected a NEON-supported CPU where as Helio x10 is not.
Note that V4A worked perfectly in Deer Project Rom by Jo-San. Another difference is that I installed xposed on this rom.
Anyone has any suggestion?
I have Viper working on Hybrid 2.0. You need to install SELinuxModeChanger from play store and change to 'permissive' while installing viper. You may also need to switch to permissive again after installing the viper driver and rebooting, as it resets; but I can't remember for sure.

I am running xxxx...167 firmware with Viper4Android but I need to get dolby atmos and xtrememusic fx on m4 aqua to, otherwise that phone is useless for me so please help! I need that ear porn from the note 3 sm-n9005 ported to m4 aqua
Have you tried to install them. It looks like they are device agnostic so you can just install them in TWRP. Check the General forums for root and TWRP instructions

I'm looking for an equalizer that works without problems on my i9300 running official Lineage OS 14.1. I wouldn't like to use V4A or others that need root, I prefer Dolby Atmos so, if someone here is using an equalizer on LOS witouth problems please let me know wich one!
Whenever i install viper4android on my redmi note 3 pro in miui 8.2 stable it gives me glitches when i turn off or on screen on sound via headphones. 6 out of 10 times it gives glitches on sounds via headphones. In nougat rom i wont encounter this problem. Also i have flashed custom kernels but that wont fix it either. Does anyone have solution??????????????????
I'm on MIUI 8 still, using MiGlobe ROM in which you can bake V4A into the ROM itself using their ROM Builder. I have no issues with it at all. It's phenomenal.

I am using Resurrection Remix Nougat on my Redmi note 3.
But I have only one problem. I have still have old magisk version installed because I use Dolby sound mod which is not compatible with the latest magisk version.
So is there any sound mod that works with nougat and latest magisk version? I have tried viper, but always drivers installation fails.
Your help will be greatly appreciated!

Iknow its a little late , maybe you have already solved your issue . Anyways I have tested version 6.5 Unity posted here:

Its working but, flash Audio Compability Patch on Magisk repos before flashing the zip file through Magisk.
Hello everyone! I'm truly amazed at how active this community is and I'm hoping to join soon. I'm planning on buying a redmi note 10 soon but I was wondering if it has dolby atmos built in like the redmi note 10 pro. Or if there is any way to sideload it without root.

It doesn't have dolby atmos built in but you can sideload it through magisk I don't know about doing this without root

What a shame! The stereo speakers would be so much more useful with dolby atmos. Anyway, thanks for the reply.
Also, does it have any other sound effects option that are good?

Does this work by any chance on redmi note 10. It says on the website you can install the apk without root on any android 11 device. Worth a shot?
It will work and if you want dolby digital plus you can install it through twrp
