Welcome
Can someone please explain me what this two features in the camera are ?
Upper menu - I think should turn on/off autofocus (but doesn't do it ...)
Lower ring - you can choose metering mode (spot / matrix / center-weighted average)
I figured out the upper thingy. It's a light assistance to the autofocus. When it's dark and the phone can't get the sharp image it turns the led on
Which version of EMUI do you have please ? The Indian EMUI 3.1 has a very "spartan" Camera interface.
Or did you download the camera APK from somewhere please ?
Manual settings to the camera came up with the B140 update. From what I know it's only available in France but I downloaded it somewhere from xda and updated my phone manually.

Hi, I have installed the ICS rom released in the Xperia P dev section, the central european version. I have installed a clean version in that the phone was wiped whilst flashing. When in camera mode, the pictures taken are perfect, however when in camcorder mode, if I pan the camera to the right, a green line appears on the left of the video. If I pan the camera to the left, there is no such light.
The issue is only visible when viewing the video back, not when recording. Has anyone else experienced this issue ? any advice ?

I also encounter such green lines sometimes
dont know any solution/ reason though.
Neeever mind. I found the manual mode. They changed it from a separate menu and put it into the new "mode" menu with all the camera trick modes like "pop out", panorama, timer, etc.
The manual mode is greatly improved now with much more intuitive control.
I just got the Android Oreo 8.0.0 yesterday. I just went to use the camera and I cannot find the 3 dot menu on the main screen to get into manual mode. I use manual mode a lot! If anyone knows how to enter manual mode of has a fix please post it.
Other than that the update fixed a BT issue I had and I have not encountered any other issues.
Thanks
Since updating to 122 firmware my Camera settings seem to disappear and reappear and portrait mode doesn't work as there is no blur present and no way to adjust it.
Please help as this phone is driving me to distraction. This is my second unit as first one had green light bleed!

I believe the AI blur is only applied to pictures taken using the forward facing camera.
Leastways that how my M20P seems to work (also on .122), never actually checked what it did on .108

Same problem on v. 7.3.020 by onfire , freeze screen on video mode. Tap screen after screen be black, switch the zoom to right and video work normal. And f zoom in camera mode switch to >1x and then go to video mode, no problem found. May any way to add minimum zoom limit option in setting or make default zoom setting value is 1.1x.

yeah.. which devices you use? JOYEUSE?
i hope we will see that option to make default zoom from our modder.
in Onfire Gcam, i face the problem colour faded in Potrait Mode both Back and Front cam. so, i stick on Pixelcam+ because in Potrait mode working as well.

Hi @nickadsy, this thread is being closed since a GCam thread already exists. Kindly continue the discussion in this thread. Having multiple threads for different versions of the same mod is not productive, and it's better to have one single thread where the discussion can take place.
Have a nice day!
