Does anyone knows if there's a way to prevent a keyboard to go full screen while in landscape mode like typing in landscape using whatsapp?

Give SwiftKey a try. There you can change size, layout and even position of your keyboard....
I used Xposed for that succesfully, module called Disable Fullscreen Keyboard, but v1.1 on Playstore not the v1.0 in the module repository

Did this happen to you both after rooting? It happened to me once. I had to restore and root again.
I had that problem, only go to aplications and stop the ap Lock Screen then clear data.

Same here, I used Titanium Backup to wipe the data for the Lock Screen app and lo and behold, everything worked fine.
When I navigate the menu, it's because I want to access apps that are not in my launcher.
Is there some app out there that makes the apps that you have in your launcher disappear from the menu?

hiding functionality is available in samsung touchwiz rom in built
In many launchers, open the App drawer and press the Menu button and look for Hide applications/Show hidden applications.

Well, a lot of devices, as my Nexus 5, do not have a menu button.
What launcher are you using?

That's the key question. All depends on the launcher. Some have this functionality, some don't.
If you post your launcher, it will be easier to get help. If you are running the one that came with the phone, let us know the phone and android version.
I am talking about a Nexus 5 with a stock 4.4.2 launcher.

I just installed it but I didn't find anything. Are you sure it is capable of doing that?

Did you install xposed framework first?
Well, if it doesn't work, you can try a custom launcher, like Apex or Nova.

Yes, in its options I can't find anything related to that. Thanks for the suggestion.

Ops, sorry...
In GEL settings, go to App Drawer> Select apps to hide.

OK, ty. But that is a manual solution. Isn't there something (at this point, even another launcher ) that automatically hides and shows the app based on the fact that they're showed in the home or not?
hello guys!
I searching for solution for my problem:
I have installed nokia here, every thing fine and working. But now i want use it "offline" and use the GPS-SD-Card-slot.
But when i want to go to the setting area (display all only in landscape mode) then i see nothing, only that i am at the "setting"-area.
No point for activate or anything else.
I hope anyone can help me.
regards
peter

Yeah, I have the same problem. But if you swipe up, you can access some options so maybe by this way.
I can't swipe up while I'm in the settings menu! The only settings I can see is the ones you can pull from the 3 dots menu in Drive mode.

This application is highly configurable and is the closest thing to the old oneplus gestures.

I've been using this for a few weeks and has been working mostly great. Swiping between apps is a lot easier to trigger with the next app/previous app left/right gestures on bottom bar compared to OS default gestures. Only issue is that the list of recent apps isn't always correct while swiping through them. The app doesn't seem to have much development happening either with the last update approaching nearly a year.
Yes, it is a pity that this app has been abandoned ... Some developer could inherit it ...
