Yes, with the official ICS release expected end of April-early May, it would make sense that there are developer builds of ICS out there now.
It's very early build at the moment. Only a few markets get the testing software, and these are to testers. After they test, provide feedback back to the mothership, then back to development, and on and on. No where near releasing to public.
Somebody have to try and get in contact with josheijmans (the guy who wrote on sony forum) and guide him how to rip off this ROM and make a nice fft!!

Well Google did Officially say Friday it was released. So there's no reason to ask about a "eta".

Second rule of asking for ETAs: We don't know when manufactures will release their OTA updates so you don't need to post asking when.
Third rule of asking for ETAs: Read and live by rule 1.

nougat in november isn't news.
before release Samsung already said the note 7 would start out with android 6 but that they'd bring out an update to android 7 in november.
it's just unofficial confirmation that they're still on schedule.

I think the Note7 is dead forever. 5 replacement phones on fire in the US as it seems. I smell another recall or people abandon their Note7s. I did today. Damage control.
I don't think Nougat will happen anymore.
Even if there are risk takers who continue using the Note 7, I doubt Samsung is crazy enough to release a Nougat update just for us.

Samsung has officially said the note 7 is going to be discontinued...... good thing I took mine back yesterday.......... got s7e but now that I know the note7 is done..... I might go and get the note 5
