***NB : I successfully rooted this device using the windows version of kingo Root without any hassles...
Hi folks. i have a prestigio pmt3047_3g Tablet. The tablet is stuck at the prestigio logo.
Can enter recovery mode but when i try to factory reset the phone, i receive an error :
--wiping data...
Mount/data error, force format /data
formatting user data fail
I used an android app called aparted to partition my sdcard in the hopes of installing my apps on my sdcard but partitioned the wrong partition, used the phone for a while, after rebooting, the phone hangs at the prestigio logo.
***I installed adb and fastboot. My pc only detects my tablet in adb sideload mode. Fastboot does not detect my device.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated...

Greetings,
I recently acquired an Android Q8 Tablet and proceeded to successfully root it. After looking up compatible recoveries on these forums, I flashed CWM version 6.0.1.2 (turned out to be the wrong one). Now, my tablet only boots into recovery and is unable to mount anything (internal). It can't mount neither /cache nor the internal sdcard. I do believe it ought to be able to mount an external card, as there is a slot but I haven't tried it yet. ADB barely works - while it detects my device (it displays that the device is in recovery mode), any command simply results in a " <waiting for device> ". I tried the button combination to boot into download mode, but that does not work either. I'm all out of ideas - any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Almost forgot - the tablet is running Android 4.1, and I accidentally flashed a CWM for Android 4.2. My laptop is currently running Windows 7.
Q8 rooted?
Would you post how you rooted it please? My Q8 is running 4.2.2 do you have working Win7 flash util drivers?
If you"re in recovery, It should mount an external SD, On you PC copy the correct cwm mod root.zip to the micro SD , mount the card in Q8 and re-root it.
or
This may work:
Do you have a usb debug connection and flash utility? If you do:
on your PC unzip the correct cwm root.zip file
flash the .img file from the zip to the tablet.
This worked when I bricked my Samsung t679,
Good Luck!

Hello, I installed Chainfire3D.apk and then opened the app and installed the plugin the app offers. I was warned my phone may not reboot, but I proceeded anyway. My tablet is stuck at the ACER logo screen. Right now I'm able to access a version of CWM that offers -install update from zip-factory reset (which I have already done, thereby losing access to my tablet via usb, I assume because the factory image has usb debugging disabled)-wipe cache partition and- fastboot. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thank you.
Hello, in my company we use many of these tablets and almost all of them in the same month suddenly without any particular error one day just get stuck on Lenovo logo.
Some of them need only to get in recovery and wipe cache partition
But almost all of them need to format system and then work just fine.
i have one of them in my hands that will be fixed if i do a wipe system, but i need to save some documents from it first (mabe take a complete copy of storage? even better!)
device is not rooted
usb debugging is not enabled
device has fastboot mode too but when i tried flashing recovery_TWRP_2.6.3.0_B6000_3G_minitwrp.img i get "partition recovery not support flash"
Mtk_Droid_Tool_v2.5.3 reports exec '/system/bin/sh' failed: No such file or directory
what else can i do ?
any ideas?
Hey guys! The last day I wast trying to Install a custom recovery (twrp) to my Tablet Polaroid pmid7102dc, and I didn't found the TWRP for my model so I downloaded twrp-3.2.1-0-twrp.img. I used the adb program to Install it and after that, I triyed to reboot my Tablet I only got the surprise that my tablet was HardBricked. It stays in the POLAROID screen with a message "orange State Your devices has been unlocked and can't be trusted. Your device will boot in 5 seconds" after that the tablet reboot but didn't enter. Actaully I can not enter to the recovery mode and my pc will not recognice it when I connect it.
What can I do?
Help :c
I Flashed TWRP Recovery onto my Rooted VS880PP Phone, but when I try to boot into it I get Security Error 1003 error message on my screen, and the phone freezes on that screen. If I remove the battery and restart my phone I can boot normally into my rooted Android Lollipop system, but I have no access to Recovery. Also I do have a computer running Windows 10, and ADB Fastboot Installed.. When I connect my phone to the computer ADB recognises the VS880PP Device. I need help getting my phone to boot into recovery. Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.
