Avvio l500 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

This is my first time starting a thread and I'm not sure whether this is the right place in the forum to do it. I apologize in advanced if I did not do it right.
To start with, some weeks ago I bought an android phone, brand Avvio, model L500 with a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 MSM8926 processor. It is running an android stock rom 4.4.2 (kitkat) unrooted. The carrier is Claro (from Colombia).
I have looked and so far, I have not been able to find a rom for my device. Firstly, I want to know if I could use a rom that can be compatible with the phone's processor. If it is not possible, I would want to know how to modify the stock rom from my phone, but so far I have not found any information or guide that helps me out to root the device or to extract the custom rom so I can modify it.
Can you please help me

[Q] Need advice reg creating/fixing custom rom for tablet - iball Q9703

Hello everyone, first of all thanks any help would be greatly appreciated.
I recently got this. iBall Q9703 (cant use links yet sry iball.co.in/Product/Q9703/474) tablet, it has a badly ported rom and noticeable lag. Now I own a few mainstream devices with custom roms and this lag is not acceptable.
The chipset is Allwinner A31 which supports JB 4.2 and up(acc to wiki). Im assuming the lag is cause the stock is running badly built jb 4.1
I know that most Indian(and other) brand tablets are actually re-branded clones of Chinese tablets, so i went searching and found this Allview Alldro 3 speed quad. Its the EXACT same tablet from Romania.
I tried finding custom roms for it (or even CWM recovery ) but failed. Many suggested ONDA tablet roms but some ppl flashed it and wireless services stopped working. So got fed up and decided to handle things by myself.
I have a few questions so plz bear with me. (BTW I know there are detailed guides for most of the questions but I just need some direction)
( note: current rom was pre-rooted out of the box )
1) Is there any way using just root to speed up the rom? (tried launchers, removing apps, task killers)
2) Should I be able to compile and use CWM for this device or any other recovery.(None of them officially support the device)
3) Would I be able to take a backup image of the current stock rom inc. kernel(as a zip) on my system and flash it using recovery in case i screw anything up?
4) Would I be able to create a rom from scratch by extracting and using the current kernel and base-band? If so can I use jb4.2? (current is 4.1)
If i flash the rom and something goes wrong, i assume i can boot into recovery and flash the backup?
5) Would I be able to use a CWM intended for ONDA tabelt since its both based on allwinner a31?
6) Can i use a jb 4.1 kernel with jb4.2?
Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

i also have the same problem and yea it also has serious heating problems

[Q] Questions about new Fire HDX 8.9 Tablet

Hello everyone. I always wanted to buy a tablet and now I found out about new kindle tablet (the one with 2.5 GHz quad-core processor and adreno 420 GPU). I tried reading the forums, yet I was not able to understand a few things.
1) Will It be possible to root it or it will come with new firmware and it will not be possible to root it anytime soon?
2) Will it be possible to install custom ROM?
I am sorry if there are same threads, however I was not able to find any.

Let me just get out my crystal ball and check for you .lol
No but really if it follows suit with the HDX it will be locked up tight I am not wasting my money or my time.
Some developer or developers will find a in. They're quite awesome!
I don't know which version of the firmware is going to ship on these new devices, but here's a threat about a new, KitKat-based firmware that can NOT be rooted (yet): http://forum.xda-developers.com/kindle-fire-hdx/general/update-1314-4-1-1-probably-sangria-t2901813

Mtk6572 New rom for beginner?

Hi guys.
Although i have flashed roms before such as to my old galaxy s2 it's already been zipped and easy to flash via cwm.
I bought a cheap China phone that was sold as octa core mt6595 but when i found it to lag i found it did in fact have a mt6572. Some apps show it as the better processor but others apps, including a build.prop editor show the mt6572.
By following directions on the net i managed to use kingroot to root and also managed to get philz recovery installed which i used to back up.
Now I'm stuck. When i google mt6572 rom there are a few but they talk about porting which i admit loses me.
So, are there any mt6572 roms that can just be flashed? It would be great if it was something like cyanogenmod.
Cheers, marc
anyone?

Newb question about ROM porting.

I would like to port a KK rom for my device that is currently running 4.1.2 JB to upgrade it. I've looked and there aren't any roms already out there that have KK core for my phone (ZTE Force).
I'm already rooted and have CWM recovery with a full backup on my SD card, so i'm not too worried about trying out a few ports. My question is this, What exactly do I need to have in the PORT rom? I've looked at dozens of porting guides and am a bit confused. Some say the Base rom and the PORT rom need to be from the same company, in my case ZTE, some don't. Some say the kernels need to match, some don't. Same with Android base version, screen resolution, chipset, etc.
So can anyone tell me definitively what the BASE and PORT roms need to have in common?
