Do you have any information about G2 Mini pricing or availability in Europe ? Lg didn't announce anything about it's price and i'm pretty curious.
Right now the bigger G2 sells for 400 euros here and it's my number 1 choice so far, so around 300 euros for the Mini should be right, i guess
I think that 300 euros is too much. It will be sth around 200-240 euros. Dont forget that oponent for g2m willl be moto g (quite similar specs, prop better screen). If g2m will cost 300 euros like u said then Moto G will be way better choice (and much cheaper) and in price of 300 euros u can find better phones.
I also find it too much, but look at S4 mini which is selling also for 300euros and with same specs. AT launch was even more.
release dates?
does anyone know when and where it will be released world wide? I called a few isp's from rsa and they don't know jack.:silly:
lg l90
In Germany you can currently preorder it for around 320€ in most online shops.
What i wonder about, is that you can already by the lg l90 for 220€, wich is the exactly same phone by all specs,
the only differences are the housing, the battery (wich has even a bigger capacity) and the name...
if the price of the g2 mini will stay, this is just ridiculous!
Pre order issues
I've read that some companies are over pricing in case they under price the device. so in case you preorder it at 199 but lg says its 250 type thing.
Still wanna know when is lg actually releasing this phone.

Just an idea for everyone. The official price in Hong Kong is at EUR186 eqv. Kitkat preloaded.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
Got non-LTE version officially sold in Ukraine for ~$280 (3199,5 UAH). KitKat with ugly (as to me) Optimus UI. Waiting for CyanogenMod.
South Africa
Contacted LG from my country, they could only confirm that we will receive the device in May, no date or price as yet.
I just bought an LG G2 Mini in Russia it was around 200GBP when converted from Russian Roubles. I am very pleased with it but disappointed it has no LED Notification.
Same here - notification led was a blessing in my Desire S. How's about photo quality? I think it's pretty poor for device of this class...
I bought it for 229 euros, which is a good price in Europe.
From an italian website, glistockisti...i don't know if it delivers abroad (i don't think so).
Other european websites are making a price like 250-300 euros.
I bought mine for 295€.
Compare it to MotoG isn't correct.
G2mini is between MotoG and MotoX.
I chose it for its battery life and i'm not disapointed.
How about performance ? I chose not to buy this G2 Mini and i got a Nexus 4 instead and i''m very happy with this choice.
LG G2 Mini
I wanna get one for the missus. she has a Motorola Razr xt910 lagging very badly. The stand out feature on this phone is the Quadcore. All the alternatives in the category have dual core. Am i wrong ? At the moment cost is 300 eur. (Greece)

I bought it directly with my mobile internet provider in Spain and I went for only 120 euros and if I stay forever 69 euros, so the terminal is 189 euros final price and super happy because it is very true than many terminals that price hovering
I bought an EU Version via a german distributor for 209€. Just from last night the price remains.

Hi there,
For users in USA who wish to use Le Max 2
1. Which version should we buy X820/X822? I've read model number are assigned based on where these phones are being sold (china x820/indiax821). But I am making sure if buying a specific version is beneficial in any way for USA users (spending 300+ dollars and don't wish to ship stuff back to china)
2. Will the phone work with 4G LTE Band 2,4,12 (confirming even though tech specs indicate it would)? Do I need to do something special to enable them?
3. Once model suggestions are given, shall it be rooted and then custom ROM be applied? If yes then which one? OR Shall we stick to standard out-of-the-box ROM?
4. I frequently travel to Asia (India). Do I need to do something to make the phone work on 4G bands there?
Buy the Le Pro 3 which officially goes on sale 2 November in the USA for 299$ instead. It's just straight up a better choice.
As I mentioned in the post, I travel to India quite often. I would have bought Pro 3 if it supported 4G bands in India. It is also missing dual SIM capability. Again for my needs, I am leaning towards Le Max 2
le pro 3 is not straight up a better choice, it's actually not comparable to the le max 2 at all since it's the le pro line. Two different phone type basically. I believe Le Max 3 is coming soon.
Well, I appreciate your input. I still am waiting for answers
Anybody?? Shall I buy le max 2 phone to operate in US?
Yes u will not be disappointed! However, get a tempered glass protector for your front screen and camera glass on the back.
Le max 2 is an awesone phone for its price (210 euro). I am from europe and flashing the latest china rom s18, gave me full signal on 2g 3g and 4g.(very good stock rom) Good battery all good. It can even record calls, it works on USA networks too.
Just make sure when you buy it the proccesor is snapdragon 820.
There are many inferior max 2 with lesser proccesor, snapdragon 820 is a lot better and others not worth it just to save a few dollars.
Many people complain about the fingerprint only and always the fingerprint. But for me is lighting fast and acurate.
The (x821) will work fully in the USA I have it working on T-Mobile I get volte and I got the 4gb 32gb version for $250 on eBay
I bought X820 and it arriving in 4 days. Kindly share any changes you made to the phone and how. Appreciate your help.
In US u should buy x829
My x820 arriving tomorrow. Too late for x829.
Will x820 not working with lte bands in USA? I'm little concerned now. I would appreciate if you provide reasons why to go for x829
all the phones have same bands and will work for US LTE. I'm on AT&T now and I got 60mbps on LTE
Thanks xterminater07!
I would appreciate if you can provide information on first few things to do get going with the phone. Like do i have to do something to get google app store working?
My kate has been with me faithfully more or less since day one, have replaced the screen twice, replaced the charging port once and still she is rocking
The upcoming NOTE 5 pro has caught my attention SD636 and will work out £145 roughly with the 20% reduction on Aliexpress for the gold version (not too bothered about the colour)

Is it time to upgrade and if so is it a viable upgrade?
China version was only release today.
Your link is a place holder listing, that has been up for about 2 weeks.
No global rom available yet and link say supports Band 20 etc, that particular device has not been announced yet.
If you order from there you will probably get the china/Indian version with a vendor rom.
See https://www.reddit.com/r/Xiaomi/ for latest on that particular device!
1. Two CDMA SIM cards cannot work at the same time (when one chooses 4G Network, the other SIM card has no Signal.)

The China/Global version will have support for Dual Sim use, so that is the Indian version or the listing are not fully accurate for the device.
Its the Chinese version
I would not buy the Indian version

You won't know what version it is till you get it.
Check the specs against this spec list.
Already point out one error in the listing that makes it sound like it is the Indian version.
And back camera specs is for Indian version: - Back camera 12.0MP f/2.2 + 5.0MP f/2.0
As your using a Kate, I assume you would need the global version for EU bands (3,7 and 20). Wait till the global version is release.
Its definitely the Chinese version look at the delivery time the phone is not due out for another month or so
Also it is the global version
BUYER BEWARE!
Another error in the link provided, states android 7!
Chinese version comes with Oreo 8.1!
Also the linked store is not an official xiaomi store.
They also updated the listing with: -
Tips: Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Global Version has not arrived, it is pre-sale for now.
Expected 24 April starting shipping!

Also the preorder amount is overpriced!
Look I know you mean well
See this article to clear up the confusion: https://www.review-hub.co.uk/redmi-note-5-review/
Trust me its the chinese version, its the global version, it will come shipped with Oreo
Anyway back on topic what do you think?
@gap30 Your article has not told me anything new.
They may well ship the global version.
I intend to purchase it from a more reliable store, probably from one that provided VAT Free DHL Shipping to EU!
For example Hong Kong Goldway or Mi Global Store.
Both stores also have pre-orders up, with limited listings, or inaccurate for global device.
Or a retailer with EU Warehouses.
Your particular store, i have a bad taste from, they use to label themselves as Xiaomi Authorized Store before.
My Kenzo is still performing well, so I will wait until July/August to purchase. By then the prices should have stabilized.
Also we will have a better picture of Custom Rom Support. But for a device that has Oreo and Treble support, i don't see a problem in that matter.
Well initial reports seem fairly positive on the CPU: https://www.androidcentral.com/xiaomi-redmi-note-5-pro-benchmarks-snapdragon-636a
Edit
@gap30 Did you manage to pre-order one at the sale price? Within an hour the price return to the full amount. So I say they didn't offer many at the sale price.
It is also available pre-order from Mi Global Store for a similar price with VAT free shipping.
^^^^ Pre-order at your own risk, does not list full specs or Bands supported.
This year there were two manufactures that did something that really P*** me off, Huawei and Xiaomi, with the Honor Play and Pocophone F1, they sent awesome looking phones to Youtubers, the Honor Play special edition, with the funky black or red back circuit board engraving and Xiaomi Pocophone Carbon fibre back, buuut, these never went on sale outside China, wtf? Why send cool looking phones to the most famous Tech Reviewers and to the general public, just the cheap A$$ looking phones. As anyone been able to find the carbon fiber model of the Pocophone F1? I've seen Honor Play Special Edition on a couple websites, but they come with Chinese EMUI and no 4G band 20, used by most EU network providers =(
Sorry about the rant, but been trying to find this particular model of the pocophone and I just can't
Hello,
yes, they are indeed difficult to find outside China / India.
I found one, but quite expensive. I payed 319 EUR for my 128 GB Poco, but they want 476 EUR (including shipping + taxes for UK, Germany and France) for the "Armoured Edition":

Thanks for the reply and you're right, I can get the 128Gb model for £270, £410 for the carbon back? That's crazy, that is Mi8 Pro or Oneplus 6T territory, hope this does not become a trend, showing one type of device that only reviewers will have access to it for free xD
Hello @hugoprh and everyone who is interested:
Poco just announced 2 more Armoured Editions:
https://www.themobileindian.com/new...armoured-edition-reportedly-coming-soon-24433
https://www.mysmartprice.com/gear/poco-f1/
Hopefully they will make it to Europe / will be less expensive.

Hello, first post for me, I hope it's in the right place, please be kind if it's not.
I am looking to replace my old Xperia Z3 compact tablet with the Mipad 4. Is Geekbuying a safe place to buy from?
There is a HK Stock, Global rom version I am looking at on Geekbuying but I have heard that some sellers install a custom 'global' rom that may be a bit suspicious. Would the Geekbuying global rom option just be the European rom with english language that they are selling? Geekbuying has a reasonable price and a fast shipping option that I will need to get it me by Christmas. Thanks
I did some homework and I found this to have decent performance balanced with the best bang for the buck.
Geekbuying is a good choice. I just bought one today with Wifi/LTE.. They had the best price and the optional quick shipping at a reasonable cost.
I have my Mi Pad4 from Honorbuy (EU Warehouse), was delivered after 3 days, China stable with Googleplay. I have 1 year warranty and repair will be done here in EU too, so no send back to china. But the shop is not the cheapest one. Cheaper but with delivery from china is cect-shop. Here you can also choose between china stable and xiaomi eu multilingual rom.
..Gearbest ?
3/32 Gb 165usd/147€ https://gearbest.com/tablet-pcs/pp_...1&utm_source=webgains&utm_campaign=GearbestDE
4/64 Gb 199usd/177€ https://www.gearbest.com/tablet-pcs...1&utm_source=webgains&utm_campaign=GearbestDE
Use priority line as shipping method when ordering to EU
Ignore any vendor advertising a "global" version. It's all fake custom roms. There is no global version available of the Mi Pad 4 (plus). Only china devices.
So get a cheap china device with locked bootloader, set langauge to english and sideload google play store and services. Tutorials are available here.
If you want a localized EU custom Rom unlock the bootloader - will take 2 weeks/360 hours - and then flash Xiaomi.eu custom Rom, which is based on china global/beta versions and includes localization options and is fully google certified.
So even google pay should work in theory.
