[Q] Can not boot past Motorola Dual Core Technology Screen

Alright, so I know what went wrong. I messed up, I know I did, so please try not to mention it.
I accidentally deleted my lib folder in the /system directory using root explorer. What I was trying to do is replace it with the one found in a different thread (as I was missing some files that I needed to receive the BELL OTA update)
So now the phone will not boot past the above mentioned logo (thread title)
I have tried going into android recovery and wiping and restoring all data but that did not help, my phone is not unlocked and I have never installed a different ROM.
What should I do?
I may be wrong, but if you are not unlocked, you may have to do a full SBF flash to get back up and running. If you were unlocked you could just flash a system.img via fastboot.
Alright, I will look into that, right now I am at school so if you could give me a link to a guide for the Bell Motorola Atrix I would appreciate it, if not I will search through the forums for it later.
Thanks for the help!
what did you make on your case.
I have the same problem.
Please help me

[Q] "Security Error"

I recently purchased a LG Optimus G and started installing programs on it. once it got late I plugged it in to my computer (to charge it) and out of habit, i restarted the phone. It got stuck on the LG logo and kept saying Security Error...thats it...no number or any other explanation. I did a hard reset and nothing happened. I NEED INDEPT INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO RETURN IT TO WORKING CONDITION. I spent all night reading other post and devs or other users gave vague answers like "oh download this..." with no link....or use this with dead links.....PLEASE HELP THIS LG NOOB. .
The security error is from uninstalling bloat without having bootloader unlocked. You will need to restore using a program called lgnpst with stock firmware. Found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2219953&highlight=jellybean . Links for lgnpst can be found here in teenybin thread ( you may also use teenbin files in place of stock firmware if you want to install custom ROM, it will unlock bootloader and install twrp recovery) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2230994 . If you decide to install custom ROM it will need to be on SD card so it will be available in recovery.
Edit... Be certain you have AT&T LG E970 model before attempting this, if you have any other model you will need to use different files.

Data recovery HELP - Bricked phone

Sorry for the duplicated post. I just noticed the other one i posted is in the wrong section and this is the one for the AT&T phones so here it is again.
Hi Guys. Today i rooted my phone for the first time (LG Optimus G e970)
Everything went well, then i uninstalled the bloatware from AT&T and a few of the google apps that i do not use like books or music, and on the next reboot i got my phone bricked with the LG loop and "Security Error" message.
I found some great info on these forums on getting the phone in working condition with the help of this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2388440
However, before i go ahead and restore the phone's original firmware, i would like to know if there is anyway to recover some of the files. I have some important notes i wish to recover, everything else is on google and the external SD card so im not all lost.
I am able to put the phone in download mode by holding the up and down volume keys and then powering on the phone with the usb cable connected to the PC, but it is not showing as an external disk on the computer. I do have the LG drivers installed tho, the same ones i used to root the phone.
Any ideas?. thanks a lot.
What recovery do you have ? You may be able to mount internal and sd card in recovery and access them on your computer ?

Hi thank for the help.
I have no clue about what recovery i have. I never played with the phone before the rooting and removal of the apps, so i believe it should be the "stock" recovery if you wanna call it like that.

I don't know what guide you followed to get the root. If you followed this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2450258
You should have twrp. Stock recovery may not be able to mount storages for uses on PCs.
Also I haven't seen the post you included , maybe that's an older post. A lot of people use this to recover their "bricked" phones
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2230994
I personally have followed this too.
As long as you have download mode you don't have to worry. However you need to read carefully before processing with teenybins because its something that can actually brick your phone if used wrong.

Ok so when i did the rooting i followed that same guide you linked to, but i only did it to the root part. Not the "UNLOCK BOOTLOADER AND INSTALL CUSTOM RECOVERY-"
I just wanted the permissions to remove the apps.
So now with the TeenyBin guide.... will that erase the current settings and information on the phone or is it just an attempt to fix the firmware loop?
will the process attempt to restore the google apps missing?

There are different kind of teenybins. They do different things, one giving you a working recovery and updating RPM/TZ, one restoring your phone to complete factory state. You will have to read it to know what I'm saying here. The one that give you twrp and update your partitions may let your data alone but you will most likely still have the existing bootloop. The gapps missing ? The ones you deleted ? If you use the bin that recovers phones to factory state then you will have all the stock apps again.
Quick update.
I was able to recover the phone and the data in it. :good:
I installed the new boot loader with the teenybin instructions and was able to backup the data partition to an SD card.
Anyway, after that i went for a recovery using the stock firmware and LGNPST and now i lost the boot loader with all the neat options, but got the phone working again, and to my surprise, everything was back there including data and applications,. i dont get it but oh well... im back alive.
Ill backup all the important stuff from now on, and then i will keep messing with the phone again LOL. i learned quite a few things today... ill read more from now on before doing more things.
Thanks for all the help.!!
Good nite

[Q] CUBOT ONE MT6589T - Jan 6 Kernel - Soft Bricked - HELP NEEDED!

Greetings fellow XDA Users,
Let me get right to the point. A week ago my Cubot One arrived which I ordered from dealxtreme. Eveything was fine and I was very happy with the phone.
But 3 days ago I tried to change the resolution of the screen with an app from the Play Store and of course I did not backup my rom a really stupid thing to do on my part.
Now my Cubot One is soft bricked I think as it only boots to the android logo and that's it. I can still access the recovery menu but unfortunately I only have the stock recovery.
I have tried like literaly everything to unbrick my phone but nothing has worked so far. I tried to use the Cubot One T card upgrade and install it from an SD card but it fails with an MBR related error I think. I have tried to flash an older ROM I think V0.3 throught SP Flash Tools. I tried to only flash the CWM recovery through SP Flash tools again but that didn't work either. I tried to install custom roms through the ADB sideload ability of the stock recovery but nothing seems to work.
Is there any way I can repair my phone? Is it possible for someone that has recently baught a Cubot One running the V0.7 rom to do a backup and send it to me and instruct me how to install it? I would really appreciate any help.
I just want you to know that I am opening this thread as a last resort I have tried everything I have even tried the MTK Tools software but It doesn't recognize my phone possibly because It doesn't boot or I have lost the root and usb debugging previleges.
Can someone please give me a backup of the V0.7 ROM? I think that that is my last chance to save the phone.
Thanks in Advance.

help with Coolpad Catalyst

I used kingroot and accidentally deleted a wrong file. Then I restored and now I can't get that file back.. my messaging app and browser just crash on their own. I tried doing a master reset but it didn't do anything. Maybe you guys can help if you have the stock rom or a cyanogen mod or any custom rom to at least get a working phone? Thanks a lot. I'm a newbie..
on mobile 3622a
You're only hope is someone else with this phone seeing this and is also rooted that could copy the files you need. You won't find any custom roms for the phone nor the stock rom. Coolpad nor developers couldn't care less about providing anything for this phone. You should post what you deleted in case someone comes across it that has the phone so they would know what you need.

Tell me the exact steps as you bricked the phone ? I rooted with Kingoroot but would pass it to SuperSU and since reestablished the phone makes the app was removed kingo superuser, you think you have a problem installing SuperSU?
Sorry for my bad english :silly:
I too managed to soft brick a catalyst with kingroot. Phone now hangs\doesnt get past the startup animation. Whats weird is a USB interface is enabled with the hardware id USB\VID_1EBF&PID_707D&REV_0310, however nothing that Ive tried on it (driver wise..) seems to work. If I could just get this phone working, I can and will make a unbrick sd card image for it. Just for sh*ts and giggles I tried running a samsung debrick sd card image on a qdload\hard bricked 3622a, and to my delight it attempts to boot but the locked bootloader wont permit it.
Ill take you up on that

anybody had any luck finding the firmware for this phone ?
Ive been looking for a stock firmware\update.zip\system image for this phone since late Feb. with no luck whatsoever. I think we'll be waiting a while...
My phone won't even let me install it. I get a pop-up halfway through it's installation process. Something like, "there's code in this app that attempts to bypass developer sw...." and the app fails to be installed. Any suggestions??

This is what I used (prior to getting stuck in qdloader9008 for an unrelated blunder) to bring mine back from soft brick TMobile ROM. It has received mixed reactions.

Hopefully this link functions and is helpful for some.
PS any help to get past qdloader9008 would be greatly appreciated.
