hi
yesterday i bought galaxy s6 edge sm-g925f
and today i tried to root it - but fail i've followed all the instruction but nothing work to me
and my phone crashed - so know im trying to install the stock rom and i don't know the PDA & CSC code
could anyone teach how to know them ? because i tried alot of stock rom and every time i get error say "sw rev check fail device 3 binary 2 "
Put your MD5 file in the PDA section, thats it. Put no other file in any other section. Don't try to root with CF Auto Root when on 5.1.1 (Most likely what you have done)
You are trying to downgrade your firmware. Just search for a more recent stock ROM

So why not follow the instructions from the site you downloaded from ???
PDA low ship tar
Phone Modem
CSC CSC
PIT no
Kernel No
jje
I downloaded it from sam firmware..no info was given regarding this.. anyways thanks
The instructions for flashing firmware downloaded from their site is on the site somewhere. I suggest you search for them & follow them if you want to to avoid potentially bricking your phone.
On samfirmware.com, there's a link at the very top navigation bar for "flash guides". Right next to "flash programs" and "service manuals". I'd start there...

Considering you probably have an I9100G, flashing random stuff will result in a shiny brick. Do more reading before you do something silly.
Hello guys.
Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300
I was wondering if anyone could answer a few questions for me. I rooted my new phone using the toolkit method from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1703488 and now i am confused about the firmware versions, and if the kernel was changed and such. I forgot to check all these versions before i rooted the phone,so have no idea if these are the original ones.
My phone is bought and used in Denmark, however the firmware suggests it is now a uk version looking at the country code could this be correct? If i look at this http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=3&model=GT-I9300&pcode=HTD&os=1&type=1#firmware my AP/PDA number is the same, but the CSC number is different,is this normal?
this is apparently the stock samsung firmware for my phone PDA:I9300XXBLH3 CSC:I9300HTDBLH1 from the sammobil site, and after root mine says PDA/AP: I9300XXBLH3 CSC:I9300NEEBLH2
I would like to know if this is normal? Can i use the 4.1.1. jellybean (2012 October 4.1.1 PDA:I9300XXDLJ1 CSC:I9300HTDDLI1) on my phone using odin to flash it? Or do i have to find a firmware with exactly the same numbers as my current ones?
I am afraid i might have done something wrong, however everything works, and root checker says i have root access, and superuser is installed on the phone,if the toolkit has "updated" or changed my firmware/kernel to a uk one, does it matter?
Also, after root my phone now shows up as Galaxy Tab in utorrent, but it is still I9300 in my windows7, why is this?
Did toolkit 5.0 save my original rom/kernel/firmware before rooting? If so,where?
I would be extremely grateful for someone to easy my worrying
Thank You

Click the link above, and below, choose the model of your firmware (TYPE/OS/MODEL/COUNTRY) and download.
Since I don't know what's your country, I can't give you the direct download link.
hi , thanks for ur prompt reply , but i try dowloading from sammobile a few times , but it always ended up failed. btw im from singapore
Hi,
I am new to Samsung galaxy phones . I have used nexus series ,moto series but currently stuck with a galaxy s3 ( my sisters old phone ) .
Now it is a hong kong model .
AP : I9300ZSALED
CP : I9300XXLEF
CSC: I9300OZSALED
OS version : 4.0.4 (rooted)
Recovery : TWRP
Problem 1 :
Now if I flash any custom rom (Eg: cyanpop ) the rom boots up fine except it shows " insert sim card , sim card not found " even though there is a sim card present .
Problem 2 :
I downloaded the 4.3 version of the hong kong firmware
Product code : TGY
PDA : I9300ZSUBNB1
CSC : I9300OZSBNB1
from sammobile , file size around 1gb . Now , if I use odin to flash that firmware it gets stuck in " Nand write Start " .
Since i made a backup of the current rom via twrp , I flash the twrp via odin and then restore this current rom . Thus I am stuck in this current rom unable to upgrade .
Problem 3 :
I can try to upgrade via ota but I dont have a copy of the stock recovery . I have stired various links which are present here in xda but most of them are very old links and are broken . It will be really helpful if anyone can provide me a stock recovery copy .
Thanks again in advance .
Any help is appreciated.

And im sorry I just dont know what to say im extremely frustrated now.

Your phone is not Genuine is a clone because that imei is registred in database like Galaxy Grand Max G720AX.
That's probably why you cant flash firmware for Original phone!
Upload photos on the net like https://imgur.com/upload and send me link in private message

EDIT: i have checked that imei on google and its saying that its not a valid imei and im 100% sure this is whats typed on the back of my device and in another case i have checked my gmail account and its saying your imei is
352564076980787
Firts imei 357557/06/483373/1 which you have post is not the same like you said :
This imei is Right 352564/07/6980787
But your S/N S/N:R58G30EA7PA someone has marked as stolen or is wrong S/N.
But the thinks is that probably or your back glass is replaced or mainbord or your imei someone changed ...
Firmware for second imei is this one :
https://updato.com/firmware-archive-select-model?record=00BF4040616411E7963AFA163EE8F90B
Make sure your batterry is more than 70 % and use Latest Version of odin .
Good Luck

Solved
i fixed my s6 edge sm-g925f and im sure this method will work for any device> The only problem is that you're not flashing the latest firmware, do you? yeah maybe you do but not the latest one what i mean then? let me tell you.. even if your previous firmware was example/ android 7.0 and installing 7.0 will fail why? answer: you need to go to sammobile [for example if your device is Samsung becasue sammobile is the best for samsung firmwares just make sure to download the firmware from there if your device is samsung } and check the date of firmware like the latest firmware location doesnt matter just downoad the latest one, you know what i mean right? for example you need android 7.0 you dont just have to download any 7.0 firmware, thats wrong you have to check the date of firmware and download the latest 7.0 firmware, thats it and i hope you fix your device asap cuz i know the feeling thanks for reading this and good luck !
