Hi Guys,
I'm using Official JB version 124, and i experience severe crashing, freezing and lag with this phone, one thing i notice is the use of the RAM is almost 95% all the time, is there someone out there can point me how to solve this issue without having to hard reset/factory reset the phone, because it only solved the issue temporarily, i like this phone but it seems there isn't any right OS build for it, even the custom one have bugs

Did you tried MIUI?
You need to do some setting on permition manager from security to notice in real time !

MIUI is cleaned of bloatware!
You could try Baralajbi too, the same cleaned of CN bloatware!

Hi everyone, sorry my english is bad, i have a question for you.
All roms i had tried seems to be rock solid, after a week the whole roms that i flash begins to give me some problems, after 2 weeks often screen remain black after a lost call.
this without any settings change..
someone else have this problem?
vivalatopa
Please be specific...
Which roms have you tried and with which kernels?
Hey
I think the "problems" you got are not problems
from the rom itself.
It's our device that is not the best for performance etc.
Some roms are way too much for it
and the others can be good in the start but when
you install lot apps or tweaks or even personalize it to your
asthetic preferences the phone have way too much work to do
in the background.
Maybe you should think about upgrading your hardware

thank you, i think that it's possible.
anyway i'll try the only slightly stable, minicm6.
mini cm will be good and most stable for me
Now i'm trying minicm6 with a packet that can be flashed by cwm called "Sensor_Fix.zip"
, this file i found searching for the "black screen after call" problem. I'm thinking the second problem is the
small ram quickly fillable so i'm testing a memory tool.
I'm pleasantly surprised because the phone reset only one time in 4 days of the new rom flash
thank you
if someone need to solve the black screen ask me the file, it seems to work.

no, i think thats not the problem, simply after call the screen stay off, i must reboot because i can't use it.
seem's to be stable after the flashing of a zip file that is done to fix this problem.
Hi Guys!,
So I recently updated to the new 5.0.1 update (I'm sure most of you did) on my LG G Watch and I've been getting lag issues that I've never gotten on the Kitkat version.
So I did a factory reset and still were getting issues. Most of the lag has to do with getting around the watch as well as the "Android System not responding" popup message. I think
the lag has to do with memory, like if I use a bunch of apps at once it would slow down but I could never prove that. I'm not rooted or anything. Anyways,
[Q] I would like to see if you guys were also noticing lag or performance weakening after the 5.0.1 update? Let me know!
Thanks,
Your buddy Andrew!
(this is my first thread, if I did this wrong or if this is in the wrong place let me know)
I'm seeing the same... Probably another update coming soon
Try uninstalling some Wear apps it could very be that some apps are not ready for Android 5.0
On mine it works actually A LOT MORE fluid too!
I had this same problem after taking the update. So I reset the watch, cleared the data on the phone's wear app, and resync'd all the apps.
One of those things fixed the problem.

its work , thank you
Any stuttering or lag issues I had were gone after flashing the arter kernel, if that helps
I've noticed at first it was working great. I'm noticing wear aware is damn near useless. That alone tells me it isn't communicating as often or been trimmed back on cpu wakelocks or something
I have had my Z5C E5823 since January, and was pretty happy with it - It would occasionally crash (maybe once a month?) which I was fine with - I figure nothings perfect.
I recently got the update for 6.0.1 pushed to my device and downloaded/installed it without issue. I started noticing right away that it would crash on random apps multiple times a day. I can be writing a text, borwsing the store, and get an error similar to:
"Unfortunately messaging has stopped"
"System UI has stopped"
"Google Play Store has stopped"
etc.
It doesnt seem isolated to one app, or to any one function as far as I can tell, but it is pretty frustrating to have this problem 3-4 times a day.
My carrier is T-Mobile, and I dont have many apps installed. None of the apps have changed since I updated to the newest software.
Has anyone else had this issue and know of a fix? This is borderline unusable, and I am almost ready to void my warranty and root the device to fix it...
I suggest trying a factory restore first.

Did the factory reset, and its been ok for a few days, but I got the same messaging has stopped and System UI has stopped error and had to restart again yesterday.
I have been getting the SystemUI error many many times lately. I am rooted and using XPower with androplus kernel with xposed so I figure some there is messing me up.
Although, I distinctly remember sometimes being prompted to enter my pin when trying my fingerprint (a sign that systemui has restarted) long before I rooted so maybe something else is causing this issue.

I am not rooted, but with all the issues I am considering it - although in my experience rooting leads to LESS stability, not more...
On the other hand, maybe there is some stock Sony app that is causing all my issues that I can't get rid of (What's New, etc.).
Its a bummer because I love so much about the phone - only cons are these system UI shutdowns and a slow camera shutter (not that big a deal for me).
Has anyone had any luck with a stable ROM? something to push me over the edge to rooting it?
Don't root, don't unlock your bootloader.
Download flashtool and the latest firmware release, clear everything (You will lose all your data) and reinstall fresh, see how the results are.
That should do the trick, if not you can consider BL unlock.

This is exactly what I did, and results are better, but still not stable...My phone still crashes once a day or so.

If you have the same results **** it and send it back for warranty, my z5c never crashes.

Quick update, I did a factory reset first, that didnt seem to help, but then did a factory reset immediately followed by a software repair, and the phone has worked well for about 2 weeks with no shutdowns - fingers crossed this good fortune continues.
Today, i experienced weird bug with my navigation bar suddenly and for no reason stopped showing on my homescreen and also behaving very strange, like not even allowing me swipe up to recent apps or so, tried to restart device but didnt helped. Stock launcher, and didnt done anything at the time that can cause this problem, have someone experienced something like this too? Problem still persists after few restarts
You mean the gestures? Sorry dont had any problems with it... Also rooted and disabled a lot of apps and running custom kernel... No Problems so far. Is it possible that oneplus launcher had an automatic update in the background? Try cleaning cache in recovery
Launcher updated itself but it happened early in the morning and problems start at the evening
edit : tried factory reset both in the menu of the phone then in the recovery, still no navigation bar on homescreen, it was there before im 100 percent sure also when i watch videos of using 7t pro on youtube it is there, clearly dont know what to do

can you record your screen behavior when you are on homescreen and like swiping left to right, opening recent apps and so on so i can compare? coz when i compare my behavior with other videos my phone behaves differently, navigation bar is showed in apps for example, but missing on homescreen completely and never shows there, before it was either still there on fades out, but when i swipe on homescreen to either side it reappears, now it is not simply there
edit: i recorded mine in case anyone can look how it behaves https://vimeo.com/443957044
Okay thats strange... Ive disabled this bar cause gestures work without it but on the homescreen the bar should be there... Dont know what you can do... Have you tried deleting cache?

yup i deleted everything lastly full factory reset but still remains the same even after that, i can tell for sure it behaves differently and the bar was on homescreen yesterday before issues happened and also after factory reset there were older version of oneplus launcher and it behaves exactly the same so its not the launcher too.

Is it possible to do that without root? coz the phone is brand new i have it for two weeks didnt rooted it yet. I also thought about downgrading to older version, i remember the phone came out of box with older oxygenos but updated immediately when i was setting all up, but i assume i cant downgrade without bootloader unlocked.

i have sent logs of whats going on to oneplus staff so ill probably wait what they will say and then try to flash the rom, flashing rom should solve the problem when factory reset didnt , but im not sure about anything when i see this
Okay hope you get a fast Response
After almost three days since last message from them and provided log file no other responses.I started thinking that it may be intended behavior and they see no weird stuff there so they close it, coz this way i showed on video it is behaving exactly like iphones gestures. even though it behaved differently before. It would be nice to see responses fro m more owners if they have behavior like me or the bar actually stays there all the time and visible even on lockscreen, coz i saw few other videos and one guy actually had the same behavior like me whereas the other had the bar always visible, kinda strange.

I have the same behaviour. It could be that it was showing on the OPLauncher before but I'm not sure. It now seems as it is intentional though

good to hear from someone else atleast we know that its not that uncommon..i dont mind that navigation bar appearance at all since swiping between apps still works and so on, but i sometimes feel that its harder for me to reach recent apps as its requiers to swipe more to the middle than before, but it might be just my feeling

I just checked and it seems though it is accessible from a little bit to the side on the OPLauncher, it is harder to trigger
Might be due to the fact that you can perform all kinds of gestures while using the launcher. I rarely use app switching there but I can see this being annoying. Unfortunately, you could only use an old apk as long as the system one isn't newer.

yeah but as i mentioned at the begining of the post, i ended up factory resetting the phone which comes with way older OP launcher as default and the behavior was exactly the same, so idk if any older apk will do the trick i think its not related to the launcher

I have already done factory reset, it started lagging after updating system apps i have cleared cached of system launcher now game is working fine im also in colder room now dont know the issue is with heating or software
Im taking about games like pubg mobile it was working fine before updating
That's why I never update. Infact as soon as I bought the phone first thing I did was turn off auto update, auto install. I think 12.0.5.0 is least buggy version. So far no major issues.
I think this is not an update issue may be memory management. Also happening to me. Try cleaning the app from recent app list and relaunch. If it continues, try reboot. This is happening in every application due to MIUI ROM.
