I've come to enjoy the FM radio app on OOS, but I've recently flashed H2OS and was wondering if there was a way to get the FM Radio App installed?
At the moment no. U can use spirit1 app
Has the status of this subject changed?
It would be very appreciated by a lot of users to have a good FM Radio app in H2OS since Spirit2 does not work really well (for instance the speaker).
Is it a challenging task to port the kernel module?
Been banging my head trying to get the OOS FM2 app to work in the latest Mar 2016 h2os rom, but not successful. Need help...

Thanks for the apk, but I don't think installing only the apk will help.
PS: tried both as system/user app on ORION OS but it didn't work
@RJDTWO, I think the fm apk file is missing some library files. Request navigate using a root Explorer of your choice (ES file Explorer is preferred) and navigate to the /sysyem /app or /system/priv app, till you see the Fm folder.go into the folder and see if it has an /arm/lib folder with some files in it. Better still, copy and zip theentire folder (with the apk and lib files), with info on where it was (/system/app or /system/priv-app). Your help is much appreciated....

---------- Post added at 01:38 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:37 PM ----------
Just unzip that tovpriv-app and chmod 0644 everything
So i pasted the files in respective locations but the library file isnt being detected as a library file.

Its a folder. It gets moved with the apk
@RJDTWO, thank you for the Fm folder zip, but there seems to be something more to it than what meets the eye. Unzipped folder (with correct permissions) still does not create a new FM radio app on stock ROMs.(COS or H2OS). Thanks all the same for your help.

Try a different kernel.... I know that sounds weird, but there may be a slight difference between the one used in OOS and the one in H2OS causing this
Was on blu spark 1.18 on all. Will try with stock (but not very hopeful). Thanks for your inputs....

OK so I managed to install the FM2 app from the OOS ROM on H2OS....unfortunately the app FCs on running. Stock ROM with stock kernel...seems that there are some library and kernel dependencies that are missing in H2OS, as per the error logcat. Does the Chinese E1001 device lack FM hardware and/or FM radio support?

i am trying to fix the the bluetooth rebooting issue while streaming audio to my car via BT, as this is only a problem with 4.0.3 i wonder if it will be possible to flash the bluetooth files from 4.0.4 as its meant to be fixed in that version ?
i am trying to avoid the jump to 4.0.4 due to the bugs with all the current roms, main gripes the emmc being in a different place
anyone know if its possible and what files i would need to move over ?
Help.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
looking for the same thing!
it's impossible there is nothing to do!!!
we have to do on our own!!
The Samsung 4.0.4 that was released yesterday has the same bug.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
so it's a problem 4.0.4 samsung only!
because i have read something good with 4.0.4 non samsung!!
btw i think is too early for that rom maybe they will fix!!
Correct. 4.0.4 Samsung is still bugged but paranoid Android works.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
paranoid?
can you explain me what to do??
thanks!|
Use the forum search. Its a custom ROM on xda. Its hard to link from my phone.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
it works!!!!
40 minutes of pure working with no issues!!!
see last post here:

!!!!!!!!!
what files did you change ?
i moved the bluetoothhd file and bluetooth failed to initialize.
it was from paranoid android 1.5's rom not F1
I have extract all bluetooht related files from f1 rom.
But start with system/app bluetooth.apk
and paste in your rom system/app and overwrite!
Try first this.

i tried the APK file and rebooted but it didnt let the track info update so it has to be another file, any ideas what other files are bluetooth related ?
this is what i have done...and it works!
extract the files from F1
THESE ARE THE FILES TO BE REPLACED WITH:
system/app/Bluetooth.apk
system/bin/bluetoothd
system/etc/audio (whole folder)
system/etc/bluetooth (whole folder)
system/lib/bluez-plugin (whole folder)
i have tried step by step AND this is the only configuration workinG! no reboots and sound perfect!!!
Let me know!!
nope, BT refused to start using F1 rom, thanks anyway but i will give up on this for now
Do you flash the F1 rom?! You have to keep 4.0.3 and change files!!!
yes i did, maybe its the vodafone stock rom thats the issue when trying to add 4.0.4 files.
i am going to backup again today and try some other 4.0.3 roms

Yes sir my mega is rooted n i have installed simons jb rom based on bmj2
.sir i tried to instal music player through root explorer in system folder which i downloaded from removed app section but after reboot no icon of music player..:crying:
I believe that the stock music player is in the widget section and you have to add it to your home page...this is why you will not see a icon of it...but it should be in the widgets section..if I am wrong I apologize.
I guess it is suppose to be in the app drawer also and did you add the odex or deodex file of that music player app..did you set the permission to rw-r--r-- and see if that will help..and reboot the phone as it may need to be done for the app to appear.

Download the Rom in your pc. And Copy it's SystemUI.apk from the folder system/app/SystemUI.apk
Copy this apk and replace it with your phone's current System UI in system/app/SystemUI.apk and set rw-r-r permission to the new pasted apk.
Before pasting the new apk rename the stock systemui.apk to any other name, say"systemuiold.apk" and the paste new one at the same folder.
System UI may start crashing, If that happens, rename systemui.odex(if present in the folder) file to any other just like you did for systemui.apk.
Restart the device and you should be having systemUI of Droidwin.
Cheers :good:
Thanks dude
I'll get here after I try it
out
Sorry for the double post.Problem solved.

Can you explain what you mean by copy paste system? I will first try replacing the files with the download you gave me but if that doesn't work what did you mean by the system and where can I find this copy and paste? Manually is also too challenging I tried it but honestly I rather have it perfected and not some ****ty attempt at eauivilzing it myself btw I'm using a s8+ not the snapdragon version notre if that matters

Oh and if that link was supposed to be an APK just to let you know it was actually all the files from the APK so id have to copy and paste to system either way . If you meant to send a link to download a different version of the app let me know :good:
Does this actually work, most audio mods I tried don't work/ placebo effect? No offense to you. Just curious

Hi,
I'm working on a camera mod for the Galaxy C5. Unfortunately, I won't be having access to my phone in the next couple of days. Can someone please post the camera libraries from the stock ROM and LineageOS? The camera libraries can be found at /system/vendor/lib. In the mentioned directory, select all the .so files (ignore the folders), zip them and then upload them here or to any cloud sharing site. You can use an app such as MiXplorer or Root Explorer to zip the files right on your phone. That way you won't be needing a PC and everything can be done from the phone itself.
