I am looking to buy a original Korean version S3 but i am little confused bcoz I have seen a phone that was cheap and the owner claimed it to be original Samsung S3 Korean version but in the setting>about phone the model number was given GT-i9300.
technobuffalo had a good video on this, search on YouTube
Back glebun up on that one and seriously just Google fake s3 or something like that there will be tons of pictures..
Check the battery and serial number and cross check with Samsung themselves if you not sure..

Hey, i was just wondering if ther is anyway of telling which S4 you have, by build number or anything like that?
I have the quad-core version of the phone with qualcomm (i think) 4G (it had the sticker on the top of the phone when it was new), but i live in the UK, i got this because im with EE which is a 4g provider in the UK but i was just wondering if anyone could help me distinguish which version of the S4 i have before ROM's and other goodness are put on to it
In About Phone, it should list the model number.

Is a multi-carrier phone. You may want to check out your device's specific forums for info relevant to it.

Hi everyone,
I apologize if this has previously been discussed but I recently purchased a clean IMEI AT&T S4 Active off of ebay which I'd like to unlock to use on T-Mobile. I went through the tutorials on the site and was unsuccessful due to my current build so I called AT&T who was willing to unlock after they checked the IMEI number. Before they can do so though, they need the phone number to the phone which I don't have (and haven't received from the seller yet). Is this something that could be looked up in the phone even if I don't have a SIM card?
Thanks,
Matt
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the phone number attached to the simcard not the phone itself?

Dekmantor you are right... every SIM card has a phone number in in that is directly connected with who gives you the phone service

OK, thanks for the reply guys. It sounds like I'm out of luck.
I have bought s6edge g925i and it was locked by pin code for sim after I unlocked the simcode. It work for half hour after that mobile restart and imie serial number change
