The problem that im struggling with is that sound stops randomly for a couple of seconds/minutes . After this gap sounds works perfectly . I dont think this is a hardware problem , i cleaned the jack and the promblem persists. If someone has a solution please share it with me. Sorry for my english , Have a great day

Always after a major firmware upgrade it is recommended to do a factory reset.

[Q] A repeating problem with sound

Hi, everyone!
For some time I have a problem with the sound on my Galaxy S3: once in 2-3 days the sound disappears in every application where it should be (audio and video players, alarm, ringtones etc). The native audioplayer shows a message "The player does not support this type of files". It looks like there is a problem with sound driver (but this is an amateur's opinion). After rebooting everything works fine - but again only for 2-3 days.
I've tried to change the firmware (installed Easy Project 4.1, android version 4.1.2) but the problem remains.
May be someone knows, what can be the cause of this problem and how to fix it?
Thanks in advance!

You had better ask them what the problem is then as its not a rom XDA know .Who knows where it came from what's in it what its for etc its a Russian Torrent site ???
Suggest you restore to original firmware and take to a service centre .

Well, thanks.
The thing is that it is not because of the firmware of Easy Project because the same trouble was with previous custom firmware (don't remember what it was). I am thinking over the getting back to original firmware and look if this problem appears again - just expected that may be there is another solution )
P.s. About the site - yes, it is a torrent place for russians )

[Q] HELP Please My S3 i9300 won't power up at all suddenly

hi guys , please help me here ... i just left my s3 i9300 on the desk .. when i returned ... after pressing the home button to go to the lockscreen it won't even power up ... so i thought it must be the battery ( which is kind of weird to think because the battery was full just before i left to take a shower ) ... so i removed the battery and waited for like 2 minutes then inserted it again ... and tried to charge the s3 ... but upon charging nothing lights up .. not even the led indicator which signals that it is charging ...
guys , please help

Either some sought of hardware failure or this >> http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/general/sudden-death-sds-dont-android-4-1-2-cwm-t2091045 << You will also probably find you can't get into recovery mode or download mode as well I know that's not what you wanted to hear but I don't think there is any software solution for this.

if i had updated the s3 firmware to the latest stock 4.3 firmware ... would it have helped ? ... i mean does updating to the stock 4.3 Samsung rom help so that these things don't happen ?
If this is indeed the SDS problem and you were on firmware below 4.1.2 then yes. But other than that its hard to tell exactly, mainly guess work.
Since you had it idle and its not a result of a bad flash etc so the chances may well be high.

Samsung released a Sudden Death Fix via a patched Kernel and Recovery for devices Firmware Version: XXELKC onwards with the eMMC: VTU00M FW Rev: 0xF1 emmc bug issue this was before even 4.3 was released so it was fixed well before then.. But like anything else nothing is guaranteed.
It may not be this could be some other issue but I think this is not a software problem

[Q] [REQUEST] please help

Hello guys
suddenly my s3 died while i kept on charging in morning.
now it wont boot up at all nor in recovery or download mode.
phone was rooted and was running custom rom of 4.1.2 ( previous rom s5 sensation ).
i have tried many diffrent battries and try to put on charging but still its showing no sign of waking up.
i need help urgently. is it a hardware problem or software problem.???
If you have the 16GB version and your software wasn't new enough, you might have been victim of the sudden death bug.
Note that 4.1.2 was updated several times throughout its lifespan, the older ones are subject to the sudden death bug, only on the 16GB galaxy S3.

Samsung Galaxy S3 Cynogenmod OR Οfficial ?

Hello to everyone , im new here i hope to get along : ) !! Help Needed I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 that currently running Cynogenmod Rom , but it has a lot annoying issues , so i decided to switch it back to official ., the thing is that i do not know from where i have to start , see i did not rooted my self the phone , a friend did it. The phone is in this state over a year now , but in the last couple of days it started to be Really Really annoying for some reason . I dont care if it is rooted or not , it is not the issue , th Cynogenmod Rom is the issue , So if the "official" but still rooted can be happen ( I guess it is simpler) , im ok with that.
Thanks in advance. Sorry for Bad English .
