Answering Machine/Localized Voice Mail Android - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

The tech has been progressing so fast these days. We have incredible smartphone these days with a lot of potential. But I wonder sometimes, if Android has done anything to localize the Voice Mails.
Like, is there an app or something to enable people to RECORD incoming calls, without having to personally attend each call? Like, an answering machine should automatically record a message from incoming call when we're bit available.
IS THERE SUCH A THING?

[Q] GV/Skype with dual forwarding - possible?

Seems like I am missing the magical Google keywords to get this one sorted out, but let me explain what I want to do and then we can see if it's possible.
I am not a big minute user and mostly data. I picked up a Skype unlimited with an online number for those rare times during the year when I have to fix a long running issue at the datacenter and need the minutes.
Since I have a small bucket of voice minutes I would prefer things to go through Skype first and then ring through if I am unavailable. Right now I have it setup to dual forward to my Skype number and my mobile number. When Skype is running I get both calls coming in but both screens are popping up. I am looking for an integrated answer screen to let me decide which forwarded call to take.
Basically if I want Skype to be the primary incoming with my mobile as a secondary.
I did try forwarding to Skype and have Skype forward to my mobile and that almost worked. My mobile only rings one time before losing the call. On the plus side, Skype does get the call first and GV handles the voicemail.
Do I have too many moving parts going here or is something I can resolve with pbxes.com and sipdroid?
I've been scratching my head at this for a bit and it seems like there's a way to get this to work the way I want it to but I haven't quite put the pieces in the proper order - yet.

No voice call if receiving text?

Has anyone noticed an issue with voice calls going directly to voice-mail if they come through at the same time as sending or receiving texts?
Background:
I have G-voice installed and running strictly as my voicemail service. This works out well for me as it will send me an email notification of a missed call whereas without it if I have no coverage and someone calls me I would never know about it.
I am a Firechief for an oil refinery and I use the phone as my fire call-out pager too. Its rather important that I get my calls.
I have noticed in the past that people would tell me they called but it went to my voicemail. After installing and using G-voice for voice mail, sure enough when they told me that, I would get a missed call notification from G-voice.
We use a call-out system called Send Word Now that will send me a voice call and a text message together when activated. Apparently is at exactly the same time because when I tested it I would only ever get the text mesage and a missed call notification.
My Question:
Has anyone else noticed this and figured out why? It would seem that with a 4G connection and all the data bandwidth available the phone should have no problem doing both. In fact, I can get plenty of text mesaages or incoming calls if I am already talking on the phone.
Just as an update to my own thread in case anyone searches this oddity. The messaging center today informed me that they know of the issue and ALL phones and providers will act the same way. As in, if you get an oncoming call at the same time you are sending or receiving a text the call will go straight to voicemail.

How to allow/merge sim Voice call with voip calls like skype or messenger calls

HI Guys,
I want to use my rooted android phone to attend carrier voice calls over voip call.
I want to have sim voice call and voip calls together simultaneously so that the person on voice call can hear and talk to voip caller like a conference call, As with android restriction all other calls like skype, whatsapp, viber, line messenger, get hold or disconnected automatically when we connect sim voice calls. i want to figure out to make both calls active and communicate clearly. I know its possible because 6 years ago i used to have galaxy s3 where i can use skype and voice call same time and both can hear and talk to each other without any issue but it didn't work after updates. gradually it became harder in newer versions! is there any solution for my rooted phone to bypass this restriction and use device like gateway ? please let me know
Thank you
is there any app that allows mic mapping?

Question Inbound calls not working, outbound calls slow....

Has anybody else seen issues with calls. Almost all inbound calls go directly to voice mail. Outbound calls take 5+ seconds before they start ringing.
Unrooted, unmodded. Tmobile. Running Android 13.
driving me insane. called tmobile and they weren't able to help. are their any known bugs causing this? any suggestions?
i've played with just about every setting that i can think off short of doing a factory reset
thanks
I have been having the same issues, I'm at&t but I thought it was just my iPhone until I switch to the pixel 6 recently and I'm still not even a missed call notification for some calls, which actually included my wife. Sends her call straight to voicemail. Its really bothering.
