Hi, I searched everywhere but i couldn't find any way to OVERCLOCK the cpu of lg optimus l7 ii p715. Can u please tell how to do it? My phone is installed v20 official kitkat (unofficially rooted) firmware and cwm installed. I know how to use the lg tool,blahblah. Its such a shame if u cant cuz even a tiny samsung galaxy y can be overclocked from 800mhz to 1.2 ghz easily.

The only way it's with a custom kernel, and L7 II doesn't have it.
But try with EX Kernel Manager with different profiles for get best performance.

Hi all,
New to rooting etc. Have ordered a Jiayu G3S MTK6589T 1.5Ghz phone and wanted to get the phone rooted and CWM installed so I can back up the existing ROM and try some new ones out.
Have seen guides for the G3 with the older 1.2Ghz CPU and also some other phones with the MTK6589T CPU but was unsure if these would work or brick my phone etc.
If anyone has a G3S or has rooted one and got CWM installed successfully would be grateful for any advice. Any advice on a ROM would also be good. I usually go for CyanogenMod or a simple stock ROM if anyone has any suggestions?

I bought a g3s rooted but i dont know what i did and i think i unrooted it ,When i run root checker it says is routed but i have no acces at all.I am newbe and i dont know how to root .Please someone who has rooted it make a tutorial.
Is it possible to port stock rom 4.4.2 from l9 II to l9 ? L9 II have same resolution, cpu is not much better then l9.

Yep, but L9 II uses Qualcomm MSM8230 Snapdragon 400 chipset and L9 uses TI OMAP 4430. Since TI abandoned omap project, there's no never kernel than 3.0 for L9. What is possible to be done is to take all lg stuff from L9 II source and add it L9 source, but that's not guaranteed to work without modifications.

Hi i have LG L5 II, want to isntall CM, but there isnt. Why its for L3 II, L7 II but not for L5 II ?
Can someone port it ? I will really appreciate it.
Or simple AOSP port.

Sorry but Lg L5 II is using mediatek processor, mediatek doesn't release any source files so no custom roms can be made for devices with mediatek processor
thanks for info. I ended with highly-customized stock ( many apps removend and/or replaced for JB AOSP) and its fast (150MB free RAM)
Like in the title. Can I do it if my phone and this other one have the same CPU? I have NEO N003(E01 2GB/32GB) and I can't find any custom kernel to unlock possibility to overclock my gpu, cpu and memory.
