Few weeks ago my L9 P765 was turn off, when i try to turn on, he's shows LG logo (not animated), and don't turn on. I put Stock P765 ROM via LG FlashTool 2014 twelve times (in DIAG, EMERGENCY, and CS_EMERGENCY mode), but on 50% in the third step LG FlashTool gives an error message. In Recovery don't come in, in Hard Reset too. I try to put Stock P765 ROM in my computer 8 times (Windows 7), third times in my friend computer (Windows 7), and in my sister notebook (Windows 8.1). I tried put P760 ROM, but unsuccessfully.
Please, L9 users (and other Android users), help me, i don't have money to buy new smartphone, because i lived in Lughansk (southeast of Ukraine), and this war...
I am hope for your help.

P.S. Sorry about my english, i don't posted english threads earlier.
Did you try LG Flash Tool 1.8? Use this guide to extract the KDZ to bin and follow this guide to flash it.
This method has proven to be successful to me. This Flash Tool erase every partition of the phone and re-flashes everything, and even do a factory reset at the end so this is more likely to fix your phone.
Hope this helps.

I have very big problem with my LG L9. Firts, I unlocked bootloader and rooted phone with some kind of method, everything was working great, until I flashed PACman rom. Internal space was decreasing to the moment when it reached 612kb, so I wanted to flash another Rom. And from this moment I have problems.
First of all, I downloaded rom, for example PolishBlood from Original Android Development.
I entered Clockworkmod (6.0.3.1), wiped all data / factory reset, dalvik cache. Did everything like in tutorials. Then, clicked install rom from sd card and pick "choose zip from external sdcard", cause this option was working when I was installing PACman. And here I have problem: E:Can't mount /external_sd/. I read couple of tuts, and best, and I think only option was/ still is guide from this thread: [GUIDE] [UNBRICK][ROOT] FLASH Any LG Factory ROM (kdz) WITH OFFLINE FIX
But here, I have problem too. flashing process stopping at 15%, and telling me that cable/cellphone is disconnected.

I think I have all drivers installed, I'm doing everything step by step like in tutorial, except enter in LG software mode, cause I don't have any rom.
So for now, I can only enter ClockworkMod and S/W Upgrade mode. Please help, cause for now I have Nokia 3120 ;/

Do online kdz flashing using lg mobile support tool. Download it and connect in S/W upgrade mode . It will detect your phone , then upgrade to latest version. Its online method so make sure u remove those two lines from host file which v use for offline flashing. This should work
Thanks a lot. It was simple, why I didnt think about that? Problem solved.

My p769 was unlocked bootloader and installed NamelessRom with CMW 6.0.4.5.
I installed Rashr app from PlayStore to install CMW 6.0.4.8. I followed and used files from
p769-recoveries-p769-mirror-issues-t2879854
After installation, the device rebooted. But LG logo shown less than 1 second, and the keep rebooting again again. I tried to go to CMW mode or hard reset, but it doesn't work, just bootlooping very quickly.
I followed a tutorial, FLASH Any LG L9 Factory ROM (kdz) WITH OFFLINE FIX but,

I also tried to re-install CMW using fastboot. Used this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2119090 tutorial, but stuck at
If I put in battery, the device turn on and start bootlooping. (LG logo is disappear very quick). Run the fastboot again, and tried to this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=43969494&postcount=95 but I same problem. cmd window shows <waiting for device> and there is gray color of LG logo in the device screen. After a few minutes, device rebooted automatically and the bootlooping. No flashing job processed.
So, my p769 is totally dead? Anything I can try to do?
Nevermind

Solved the problem.
I used LG FlashTool and could flash it to normal stock rom. Now it boots OK, and works OK.
Used Unbrick/Unroot/Flash ANY (P769, MS769, P760) in Download Mode tutorial,
but had some problem with files that I made and / or come with package.
So used files that BajoPrimate uploaded. Flashed successfully.
Thanks sammyz, BajoPrimate
Dear V10 users, this is a ''Au secours", i made a big mistake.
I just received a brand new LG V10 model H960A with 32 Go running LP 5.1.1
1/ I flash a H960-10a preroot rom in TOT format with LGUP
2/ I flash a V20c rom, to be able to unlock my bootloader with LG developpers. This works fine.
3/ Flash TWRP 3.0.0.2 recovery, This works fine
4/ VERY TIRED AND MADE A BIG MISTAKE !!! Flash RESURECTION REMIX For H901 on H960A
AT THIS POINT, THE PHONE WAS NO MORE RECOGNIZE BY LGUP AND DID NIT APPEAR,
NO WAY TO REFLASH WITH ANY LG TOOLS
So i looked for roms in ZIP format and found 4 roms in T-MOBILE section
I flash using TWRP, fine, reboot, etc... but now the phone is recognize as a H901, not a H960
and LGUP refuse to flash any H960 KDZ or TOT file on the phone because it appears to be a wrong model.
SO THE ONLY WAY FOR MY PHONE TO BECOME AGAIN A H960A MODEL
IS TO FLASH A H960 ROM IN ZIP FORMAT FOR TWRP
BUT I CAN'T FIND ONE !
So please to any user, if you have a H960A with unlocked bootloader,
PLEASE MAKE ME A BACKUP OF YOUR ROM SO THAT I CAN RESTORE WITH TWRP,
AND THEN I COULD REFLASH WITH LGUP AFTER
I cant use my phone with Tmobile rom, FC on setting "Security and Fingerprint"
this means no possibility to install APK from internal memory, sdcard or ADB.
In emergency, I can try changing the buildprop file.
If any H960 user can send this file from H960 to me, it could help to be recognize by LGUP .
THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP.
Same here
I am bumping this because I've been trying to solve this issue for days now.
I ran into LGE Tools and tried to alter some lines in the downloaded KDZ file with it, but to no avail. Maybe if someone can use the chkdzdev tool, besides the author, who didn't reply to my PM, then we could solve this.
Here is how I went about it...

did you guys fix it?
I have ls998 and it was flashed to us998 version but it started reload. Then I decided flash it to AS998 via partition dl. near 65 percent phone say that battery is empty and shut down. Now I don't have download mode, it just load to bootloader unlock menu and that's all. I must say that phone is NOT ROOTED and OEM unlock option not enabled (
Can someone help me in my situation?

You can try to extract KDZ file to images, then use fastboot to flash the necessary images separately.

Have you tried to do it yourself?
Last time I spend about 14 hours and have no success but it was another LG phone. When all was done I have "sahara not responding" and "sahara server error".
I haven't tried it on the v30 yet, but flashing the files using fastboot is common practice for many phones that have full fastboot commands (like moto x pure).
If you only have fastboot, you can try and flash only the laf partition using fastboot and see if you can get dl mode working and then use it to restore the phone.
LAF may need to match whatever rom version aboot is running though.
Can you get into fastboot?
If you wiped out aboot, i think your phone is a brick.

Yes he did the same for me and flashed "modified" AS998 firmware and my battery life is absolutely insane now. I got over 7h screen on time with 10% battery remaining yesterday. Very pleased.

What did he do? I'm having the same problem. I live in India. I recently flashed pie instead of oreo while I was on Pie itself by mistake.
Please tell me what he did
