purchased a SGS2 while on a trip to india. I'm on Tmobile in the US and got myself a 4G sim only to realize that the phone only allows me to be on GSM.
the guy at the store asked me to root and flash it for 4G speeds.
1. is it possible? and is there roms available?
2. should I just wait it out till US SGS2 comes out next month and install one of them on the phone??

Recently, I bought my Moto E from an e-shop in Greece.
Apparently, the guys that sent the phone to the shop installed CDMA ANDROID ON MY GLOBAL GSM MOTO E!
So, if someone was generous enough to upload a Global GSM Stock ROM, it would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. I have unlocked the bootloader, so goodbye warranty...:crying: :crying:

What is your model number XT1021 or something else?
Im lookin for te same thing a stock rom for mu e but im not sure what 2 use, Im in Ireland and im not sure wat stock fw will work ok? Mine is a XT1021.
Sorry if im hoping on the ops tread didn't wanna start a new one since its kinda the same thing...

I'm from Austria and this one worked for me!
It's actually Orange Europe firmware, but it should work in Greece and Ireland also. Please test and report back.

I'm from Cyprus and my Moto E came with Great Britain firmware.
I was looking for stock ROM as well and @lost101 helped me to find a link for it, see the post here.
Hi everyone, i bought a Moto E from Tesco, but there is no Bulgarian system language on the phone settings. I made a root and installed the most of language enable apps from google play, but without result.
Next step is to install a ROM with Bulgarian language included. Can you tell me about ROM with BG language, I prefer factory ROM.
I just installed RETGB_XT1021_4.4.4_KXC21.5-40_cid7_CFC.xml, but no bulgarian language is included.

Here go to How to Unlock the HTC One M7 site it looks like it has all of the instructions. The key is you need to get the code from T-Mobile to unlock your phone.

And now T-mobile US dont want to help me, because I never used the phone in US and T-mobile CZ don't want to help me because I didn't bought the phone in CZ, so I dont know what to do now (

It's very cheap to get unlock codes for HTC phones from a 3rd party service. I run my own business doing it - PM me if you want
Hello everyone. As my tablet is still running under Android 5.1, and the dealer does no more support this device, I am looking to find away to update this device. I guess it is sold under lots of different denotations. The device has LTE and a simcard slot. So does anybody know how to update the firmware? If you need more details dont hesitate to post it. I have seen where a number of people have successfully ODIN flashed a US Cellular model with the Verizon firmware -- has anyone done the reverse or tried the Turkish ROM?
I've downloaded all 3 as I'm still on the last Oreo OTA, so ready to go.
I ask because of all the bloatware from Verizon and inability to disable most of it in app settings.
I am using this with a GSM SIM, so doesn't matter as far as Verizon connectivity.
I have never had a US Cellular, so just unaware of they throw a myriad of JUNK on it like Verizon does. Zero knowledge of Turkish version.
I understand this is a rather odd thought process, but why not? Haha :victory:
