The 3XL aparently has a Samsung Display, no Info about the 3 yet.
Watching the video I find it ok to repair. If someone has to replace the display, he will most likely buy it including the frame - which is the same situation as with many older phones, i have repaired...

Well... the smaller Pixel 3 has an LG display, unlike the XL with a Samsung module.
Let's wait and see some more reviews, and hope it's a good one.
