I am very much intrested in Android Modding and theme development. I am working a a Theme that can change whole interface of a phone. but editing png's is not enough. I need to port some applications in order to have a more better mod. Can somebody help to teach me android app porting. Im sure with only a few instructions I can learn it easily. I want to install two accounts of whatsapp on my nexus ...
I edited the apk name but when I try to install the new apk ..it ask me if I want to replace the old one,,,
please help
I'm not an expert, but I think you have to change the java name in the android manifest. That's all I gots- I don't even know what that means, but hopefully it will help you focus your google searches.

HY every one i need your help to edit a application . actually i want to create just a application in which i put some good wallpapers. but i dont know how to do . then i think editing a application is easy then making a new application . on google play there are different applications which contain only wallpapers like glaxy s2 wallpapers etc. so i want to edit it just want to changey its name and all of its wallpaper with wallpaper of my choice. so if any one know how to edit application please help me or redirect me to a thread. in way if making new application is easy then plz help me to make this type of aaplication................. thanks to all Members

There is a program called apk manager
it decompiles the apk so that u can edit it

XDA developers i need to create an android app which is really a complicated one.
I just need to know how to get 2 matrices(of any size) from the user who uses the app and add that two matrices and finally display it in the mobile screen.
