Ive just got into heavily theming my homescreen to my liking. I really need a widget in my homescreen but the widgets CM music player has to offer are quite ugly. I need a widget that just shows the regular buttons (next, pause/play and previous) and the title, album and artist name on it. I wan to be able to choose the color of the text and have a transparant background. Now this is easily doable with a widget from Poweramp as shown in the attached screenshot. It looks just the way I want it to look but there is a MAJOR problem: I just simply can't live with any other music player than the one CM has to offer. Im in love with it and I hate all others. period. Dont ask me why but I think Poweramp has a rather weird and annoying interface and navigation. Play music also doesnt do it for me.
Now my final question is: Is there a way I can get such a widget for CM music? Or to get the Poweramp widget the work for the CM music player? (The widget is from a different amp than the Poweramp app itself so I tought maybe this might be doable). Ive messed around with Zooper a bit but I cant find a way. People also mention media utlities a lot but I cant seem to make it work with CM music and it also doesnt let me make the widget I want.
So all my questions:
Is there a music widget like the one in the screenshot that works with CM music?
Can I make the Poweramp widget work with CM?
Is there a way I could make one myself with Zooper widget?

Im tired of going trough the lockscreen just to change my music, is there controls that will help us move through songs from ohr lockscreen, just like the inspire have?
WidgetLocker can do it. There was a pretty big thread about that stickied in the Themes and Apps forum I think

I really really love MIUI player. But when I try to skip songs from Lockscreen, I could not. It opens up the default music player. Can I set MIUI player exclusively to be accessible by the lockscreen controls?
Anybody came over this issue? Thanks a lot for looking this up.

I was looking at some themes where people have made the album art for the music app larger and above the controls, anyways i was wondering if anyone who knew how to do stuff like this could figure out how to get album art displayed on the pandora widget?

I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a music widget similar to the Miui music widget. I really like the way it looks and that it has a visualizer.
Is there anybody out there who knows how to change this ugly google play music widget. Funny thing is its fine on nova launcher the album art is a little square to the left. Now with my tw launcher it's the top part of the widget that constitutes the album art and it's just a flattened picture. I hate it. Is there a way to fix that? Maybe with a build.prop edit or something?
