My friend has a branded HTC Desire C (Telstera). I want to flash an Arabic ROM on it (RUU_GOLF_U_ICS_40A_HTC_ARA_1.49.415.4_Radio_10.11.98.09H_1.06.98.13M2).
How should I do that? Is it possible to do so by Goldcard?
I think the phone hboot is newer than the above rom hboot. Is it a problem?
Software Version: 2.00.841.4
Hboot: 1.31
P.S: PL01IMG_GOLF_U_ICS_40A_HTC_ARA_2.00.415.3_Radio_10.17.98.09H_1.19.98.02_release_343815_signed.zip has hboot version 1.31 but unfortunately I couldn't find a free download link for it.

So IS IT OK TO FLASH A CUSTOM ROM to MY HD2 which has a stock radio rom? or do i have to upgrade my radio version too usin hspl?
My device is ready with hspl3- I JUST WANT TO GET CUSTOM ROM but i fear my stock radio may brick my phone if i flash a custom rom.
Plus pls advice me a rom which will be ok for my specs wwith android

Check the post of the ROM you want. There must be a list of compatible Radios. Usually x.xx.50.xx radios work with all ROMS, but I suggest you check it in the ROM thread.

Since this radio is not a custom radio, An upgrade from htc, CAN I INSTALL CUSTOM ROMS?....becos i thot u need a custom radio to install a custom rom(mayb i was wrong)???
Now i have (htc upgraded stock rom with radio 2.10.50.08_2- So can i install custom rom without flashin a custom radio?

Im trying to Flash a stock rom of Asian WWE ICS,,i think that my current rom is from taiwan bec of the available language is taiwanese and english,so I want to reflash it and use Asian rom so I can choose diff. language,,but during the RUU update and while it sending signature,,after it,there a message "Customer ID Error" but i already searched here that if i change my CID to htc_001,I can finally flash diff.region of RUU,but at the end I cant flash Asian RUU

I have reviewed the forums looking for a solution to debrand and flash stock rom with 2.5 bootloader. Can anyone point me to the right direction?
I have tried DFT spl put get "invalid vendor ID.
From what I understand I can not use goldcard as my bootloader is 4.x
my phone is
HTC Titan (vodafone)
Carrier (unlocked)
OS version: 7.10.8773.98
Firmware revision number 1750.0602.40603.165
Hardware revision number:0002
Radio software version 17.5006.08.27_17.08.50.06U
Bootloader version: 4.6.175006.2(140733)

Your Titan is branded, even though it's carrier unlocked, it still carries a brand like ATT.

That bit right there, the last 3 digits, usually shows the characteristic value of the phone on which network and region it is tied to.
Only phones with 401 (usually) are unlocked phones which do not carry and network branding in them.
Your luck is very slim, if you can find a matching Vodafone EU ROM with a bootloader version of at least below 2.05 / 2.5 (same thing) then there's a possibility of HSPL.

It is possible.
I successfully downgraded SPL to 2.5. I created goldcard using nbh file in DFT SPL205 file then flashed HSPL.. Titan now running Dynamics 2.0.

How did you unlock? Could you give me some guidance?
the titan of a friend is in semi-brick and I would try to install a custom rom to restart it.. But I can not proceed with the downgrade bootloader

Same question here... Trying to HSPL my ATT Titan with no luck for a long time...
I have T-Mobile HTC HD2 with SPL 3.05 which is a stock ROM
I am trying to flash Android but either I get error that I have wrong SPL version (from some of the programs that are posted on the website) or when I use the T-Mobile update to SPL 3.14, It does not flash it and just waits there at 0%!!!

Hi there, I've read tons of information and I'm still confused what to do... Please guys I'm desperate to fix that phone
I've htc mozart 7 in following configuration:
os ver: 7.10.8862.144
fw: 2250.21.51205.707
bootloader: 5.12.2550.5
The only language i can choose now is English (greyed out) which for me is fine but the thing is the phone is gonna be for my mum hence I need to have PL (polish) language in it. I'd like to flash it with stock European rom (I found out i need something with 401 in the rom file name) i guess currently i can not do that as my one is 707 (asia market). So what do I do? I want to permanently change the region for HTC europe (401) so it's not gonna change during connecting to zune or whatever.
Is my way of thinking correct? - To flash different region rom i need to have HSPL -> to do that I have to downgrade the bootloader as current one 5.12 does not allow for using HSLP tool which only supports booloaders from 1.xx -3xx -> to do that the only way to downgrade is GoldCard method. -> for goldcard downgrading i need to have asian rom (707) RUU_Mozart_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.28.707.03_5.52.09.16_22.33a.50_RELEASE.exe . After all of this and having HSPL, am I free to use an official newest HTC europe update ???? let's say this file: RUU_Mozart_S_HTC_Europe_5.13.401.01_5.71.09.02a_22.51.50_RELEASE.rar ???
